"I hope you boys are ready for this." Ly spoke in a stern tone while peering over the roof ledge to get a good look at the bank across the street. "Yeah, don't worry boss. We got this. Honest!" One of the two hired goons responded, giving a thumbs up as he lifted a crude launcher of some sort and dropped a canister down the front hole. "You had better. If this doesn't work, I'm pretty much broke after what I paid you." The second goon retorted with a snort. "If this don't work then financial troubles will be the least of yer worries, girlie."
Ly pulled a gas mask down over her face with one hand and retrieved one of three grappling hooks from the duffel bag beside her using the other. The other goons did the same and with well synched movements, hurled them across the street at the bank. "Now!" Ly shouted and stepped up on the ledge while the goon with the launcher fired the gas canister down through the banks front window which shattered it and sounded the alarm. "60 seconds before the GCPD gets here. Move it!"
All three of them dropped from the roof, swinging on the grappling hooks right through the smashed window and into the front lobby of the small bank. Ly quickly tossed over a satchel to one of the hired hands containing some home made explosives that were strong enough to blast this small banks vault door open and ordered him to get to work. While the other kept watch, she began to rub her gloved hands together and monologue about their victory being so close if only to reassure them and hide the knotted feeling inside her stomach that this might not work after all..
