Basic Information
Player Nickname: Orin
Do you want other role players to give you feed back? Yes
Character Origin: Mostly comic-book.
Face Claim's Name: Anson Mount
Name: Vandar Adg
Alias: Vandal Savage. Cain. Ghengis Khan. Julius Caesar. Alexander The Great. Dracula. Blackbeard. Possibly Elvis.
Race: Cro-Magnon
Age: 80'000
Birthday: Unknown
Alignment: Lawful Evil.
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 280 Ibs
Hair: Black
Eyes: Black
Physique: Vandal Savage is an exemplary model of a Cro-magnonite. Like most "alpha" male specimens of his time period, his stature exceeded that of many and his build was muscular and intimidating. However, despite what some would naturally call a barbaric and predatorial appearance in his face and structure, Vandal is well-known for carrying himself in a extremely refined manner, and tends to speak in calm, slow, and persuasive tones.
Training: Vandal Savage is widely thought of as one of the most knowledgeable humans of the planet, and indeed, Vandal has training in almost every single strategy, war tactic, martial art, and weapon skillset that has ever been developed by men, many of which he himself developed personally. Although Vandal has extensive knowledge of various martial arts and is trained to the pinnacle of human physicality, he refrains from dirtying his hands with martial combat and prefers to use his vast intelligence and leadership skills to take down his opponents.
Equipment: Vandal's equipment varies for every time period, due to the constraints of technology. However, in modern times, he has access to many various militaristic technologies and weapons, including a fully functional power-suit. To list the equipment he uses would be tedious.
Powers / Abilities
(List as many as you need)
Leadership - Vandal Savage is one of Earth's greatest warlords and leaders, having been the ruler of various famed civilizations throughout history, and conquerer of even more. As such, Vandal commands the respect and obedience of his lackeys and generally relies on them, using mercenaries that he hires to do his dirty work rather than waste his own time.
Immortality - Vandal Savage is one of the few beings who are truly immortal, a gift that has been granted to him by the strange radioactive waves of a meteor. He cannot age nor grow ill, and although he can be wounded, his body will always regenerate from wounds.
Occult Knowledge - Although rarely used or shown, Vandal has knowledge of the occult due to his long experience. This was shown more providently when he was under the guise of Rasputin, and his magical knowledge increased greatly when he took on the form of Cain.
Physical Peak - Vandal Savage is trained to the very peak of human skill, able to lift nearly a ton of weight and catch arrows mid-flight. He rarely relies on his physical skills as he distastes personal violence.
Intelligence - Vandal Savage is arguably one of the smartest beings in the universe, having experienced practically all of humanity's history from the beginning and influencing much of it.
Beard - Beard.
Weaknesses
(List as many as you need)
Vulnerability - Although Vandal is Immortal, his body is not invulnerable and he can still feel pain and suffer from wounds. Crippling his body will render him quite useless until such time as for his body to regenerate.
Blood Ritual - Vandal's immortality relies upon him performing a cruel and savage ritual involving the mutilation and cannibalism of human beings. It is for this reason that he is credited the inventor of cannibalism.
Conscience - Despite rumors, it has been revealed that Vandal Savage has the worst weakness a villain could ever have. A conscience. It was this that prevented him from killing his own daughter, despite him murdering many other of his descendants, and this that has led him to actually aid heroes at times, although this tends to have ulterior motives as he would hate for Braniac or Darkseid to get their grubby hands on -his- Earth.
Audition post
Stockholm, Germany. The first snowfall of the year whirls past the tinted windows of a penthouse whilst inside, men who have lived for centuries, men who can control darkness, and men who can punch through steel congregate around a round table. All but one are seated, waiting anxiously for the words of the man who has outlived them all. Who will outlive everyone. Vandal Savage. "The first snowfall of the year is always beautiful, and always the coldest. It heralds the death and renewal of all things, even us, as we change identities and take on new faces for a new world. And then...then there are those who truly die in the night, never again to walk the earth." He turned and faced his congregation, many of their faces familiar to him. General Immortus. Zaniel Templar. Elpis The Stalker. Ra's al Ghul. And then there were those he invited because they had potential as servants. Deathstroke. Copperhead. Arthur King, Mirror Master, Cheetah, Metallo, and Calculator. And they all shuffled uncertainly when he heard his words, knowing the hidden threat within them all. All, that is, but the Wilson man and Immortus, those he knew to be his strongest-minded allies. "So, you mind telling me why the hell you brought us here then, Captain Caveman? I didn't come here for poetry club." Remarked The Calculator, a dry and sarcastic man whom Vandal allowed to live in his presence simply....because he was amused by him. Those who would so openly insult him had something to be respected. However, instead of answering his question, the refined neanderthal simply grinned widely, studying his compatriots with a piercing gaze.
"We have had....a betrayal." Ah, there it was...the dramatic and shocked silence, the part of the play he has rehearsed and seen time and time again around table after table. He outstretched his arms, still holding that unnerving grin. "And how were we betrayed? By incompetence, of course." He turned slowly, facing each and every member of the table. Of course, all looked on angrily. "Incompetence is a sin we cannot allow, as you may know. It is one of the tenets of the Religion. Never suffer a incompetent. But who? Who could be the one that has so far been a hindrance to my plans? Could it be you, Elpis? You with your inability to corrupt the mind of Wonder Woman or kill her? You, Ra's? You who -still- have not killed Batman or converted him? No. Because you have all been competent at one point or another. So that leaves only one. Zaniel. The newest amongst our brood, and one whose only purpose, whose one singular reason for being granted immortality....was to corrupt Superboy. A simple task, I should think, no? And yet you failed in that tiny little task. That one reason why I even dared to allow you and the rest of N.O.W.H.E.R.E. into my plot. And, as it turns out, the name of your organization is accurate. Your goals have gone nowhere. Your dreams have gone nowhere. And you....have gone nowhere. Apprehend him."
And just like that, Copperhead suddenly leapt from his seat and coiled around Zaniel, the labcoat-wearing man giving out a gasp of terror as his torso swiftly unfolded and tendrils of darkness whipped wildly in the air, all for Deathstroke to draw his blade and swiftly slice them off before the Immortal was slammed into the table, held by his limbs against it as Vandal slowly walked towards it and drew a long, cruel-looking knife from his jacket. His grin was a mouth of gravestones and wolf fangs, a image that haunted the minds of many at that meeting. But the pork was suspiciously delicious.
