This is pretty good. The descriptions next to the training and equipment were nice touches. Everyone gave great advice. Having a brief display on what Bruce is thinking or how he interacts with others as Bruce, Batman, and the playboy aspect he plays up, if you go that route. Could be a short prologue.
What are some great things you want to do with Batman? What do you think will be fun to try out as you explore this character?
My only other question is more for the group than for you. Why should we pick you? If I had 5 other apps submitted right now, what makes you stand out?

Thank you for the comment Dinah. I'm juggling a few real life situation at the moment but I will be sure to have most, if not everything asked of me to change corrected or improved on (More details to training / skill, better description of his weaponry / gadgets, relationship connections, more detailed timeline, and a new post getting a better perspective of who Bruce / Batman is and what goes through his head.)
As far as what I want to do with the character? I don't know how to answer the question without sounding to generic, but I'll try my best. I'm very excited to do some mass group work. Bat Family / JLA stuff. Team orientated RP's and the like. I'm also pretty excited about dealing with some of the villains. I always believed DC had some of the best comic villains, and they only got better the more you narrowed them down to Batman's rogue gallery. As far as specific RP ideas? I'm honestly not sure. If I get the position, I'd probably like to brain storm with others to see what we could make work out. I'm not exactly the type to think up an entire story line and then inform people what their roll is going to be. As a great philosopher once said: Team work make's the dream work. Though your last question as you stated was more for the group, I'd still like to answer. Why should you pick me? I would have pointed out that I'm the only person applying at the moment, but then I wouldn't want to come off like a snob (dread the thought). Besides, I'm sure the lot of you would rather wait for a good Batman rather than accept the first Joe-Shmoe that applied for the job. So, what makes me stand out from 'the rest'? 1: I've been RPing for years, so my experience is pretty up there. With that being said, I believe myself to be a skilled RPer through that experience. 2: I'm willing to improve myself. Even though I've been at it for years and already consider myself a pretty good RPer, you're never really that great unless you can admit you have room to grow. More specifically on my knowledge of Batman himself. I'll admit, I haven't had the time and / or access to delve too deeply into his comic book history. A lot of my RP capability is based around being able to take what little information I know about a character and expand it to the point where it just seems like I may know more than I actually do. The things I know about Batman are for the most part pretty general stuff. With that being said, I have no problems at all taking constructive criticism or help that thrown my way. If there's a specific comic series that I have to read for a RP or contains a lot of need to know information, I'll make it a priority to somehow get those comics and study up. 3:I'm a capable leader. During the dawn of my RPC career, I have ran pretty successful Marvel and DC groups, and am currently still an active moderator in the Marvel group. No, I'm not gunning for anyone's mod / admin position here, so don't worry. I'm simply stating that I know what it's like to lead and manage. Whether it's something as large as a RP group, or as small as a RP session. That's important for a RP'er in general... especially one taking up the role like Batman. 4:I'm a pretty decent guy. Cliche as it may be, I think I'm an alright dude. I'm adaptable, friendly, and social. That's important for any general member in any RP I believe. You can be the best player on your squad, but if you can't gel without your teammates, you're just locker room poison .... Sorry. Sports line came to mind for some reason.
Anyhow, that marks my top four reasons as to why I believe I should be picked as this groups newest Batman. Thanks again for the comment and questions Dinah.

So. Updated my app a little bit. Here a few things that I did.
Information Sources: I changed my sources of information on Batman. I had to realize I wasn't just basing him off of comics and some Nolan-Verse stuff. This batman is actually the creation of a mixture of different qualities and ideas that came from all the different comics, animated series, animated movies and Nolan verse... so.. yeah. A bit of everything.
Relationships: I didn't have any relative relationship information before and was told it would be a good idea to add it.. so I did. I gave a bit of background information on how the specific character and Batman met and / or currently engage each other. I tried to put it in a blood family / time related / villain / love interest order and.. well.. yeah. You get the idea. You may notice some names missing such as Cassandra Cain, Stephanie Brown, Thomas Elliot, etc. No, I didn't actually forget about them. I just tried to condense the most immediate / important people in Batman's life. If an even larger list of people is needed then I guess I'll just have to do it then... but I figured the list was long enough as it was.
Time Line: I definitely upgraded the Time Line in my app. Only had to things on there. Obviously a no-no. I made sure Year 0 focused on all the pre-Batman stuff and continued from there. Year 1 follows a mixture of Nolan and Comic theme order, while Year 2 is just Batman starting to really meet more and more people in his Rogue's list. I could have expanded and carried on to Year 3 / 4 / 5 but I was trying to theme my app as close to Superman's as possible, so I just did the first two years.
Audition Post: Some people enjoyed my first overall audition, others felt it was lacking some personal feel to it. So, I added in an introduction. Originally, my audition post was the entirety of it all but realized I had to follow an 8 paragraph limit so shrunk it a lot. The intro post bring you into Wayne's Manor, where Alfred travels down into the Batcave and a bit of dialogue is shared between the two before Bruce drives off to hunt down Joker. I hope it satisfied those who thought my first original post read too much like 'Fan Fiction' or had too much of a 3rd person feel to it. My posting style tends to fluctuate and it can be a bit harder to remember to stay in first person when you don't exactly have another player's interaction to base it off and you're just posting against your own thoughts. In any case, if that wasn't enough I could just do my other idea and completely redo my original audition, explaining the entire hunt of the 7 clown-thugs in Batman's point of view. Or perhaps someone else has a better idea. I'm up for suggestions.
THINGS I DIDN'T DO!!! - I didn't really upgrade my skills or equipment section. I do recall someone asking to have my skills be more elaborated and some of my equipment to be better detailed too.I quite honestly didn't have the time to do either of those, and I found the other sections that I did improve on to be more of a priority. I will say in my defense though that in comparison to many other accepted applications, my skills and equipment sections either equal or far exceeds the detail other's gave in those sections... but still... if really that necessary then It'll be the next thing on my to-do list.
Thanks for reading!

There is a lot of really excellent work that has gone into this, and that is very much appreciated. Its a good app with a lot of really good content.
The post also shows more character, with a feel very much of the Bruce/Batman in the 00s, Bruce Wayne: Murderer?/Bruce Wayne: Fugitive/War Games sort of period, and is still well written, a pl;easure to read.
One point which is something to think about but does NOT affect approval either way:
I think i know where this is from. It's Morrison's "Joe Chill in Hell?" I'm not Morrison's biggest fan, much of his writing i feel was for effect, i'd ask if you;d consider having a think about this.
Together with the dismissive attitudes to Alfred of all people, let alone those for whom he has less respect, this could potentially be a rather unsympathetic interpretation.

I think that it looks better now than before. Quick question:
Why do you want to play Batman? You play Spider-Man in another room, if I am not wrong, and that character seems to like to crack jokes so, it feels like a polar opposite. I am not implying that you cannot do it or that it is incompatible by the way.

Hey spoiler. Thanks for the comment, and I'm very happy to know that the updates satisfied what you were looking for.
You're correct about the Joe Chill situation. I found adding that brought a certain texture to Batman, especially in his early career. He allowed himself to sccumb to his lesser and more basic instinct to gain a sort of revenge. He terrorized the man for weeks, torturing him as psychologically as his actions tortured Bruce, until he had finally hinted that he was the boy who's parents Joe killed and left it at all. Did he intend for the man to kill himself? No. Would he did that again? Of course not. But I thought might really set the to how much of a 'rookie' he was during his first year by not immediately bringing the guy to justice in the first place. BUT it's not a needed part of the history and I might consider removing it.
Also yes, Batman can have his unsympathetic moments towards his family / loved ones, but I wanted to add a bit of emphasis to just how important it was for Batman to get out there and find the Joker. Though Batman's range of emotion is most of the time very short, the people that know him best understand the difference between when Batman being just himself, being particularly pleased or is just very angry. Sort of like "IF he glares at you this way then he's just looking at you... but if he glares at you like THIS then you should probably just run." I am conscious about making sure Batman does show some means of positive personality though. It won't be all broody all the time. Yes, Bruce way will smile from time to time. Don't worry folks. The entire theme was just to set the tone that his priority at the time was to catch the Joker and not try to convince his 'Dad' why he was fine going out alone tonight.
Elain! Thank you for commenting!
I actually get this a lot. I mean, I don't believe anyone has outright asked me as you have, but I get the odd moment of silence or "Wait... you want to be Bruce?" type of response.
The answer is simple. I really enjoy the character that is Batman and I am able to relate and familiarize myself with him, hopefully well enough to portray him correctly. Yes, I play Spider Man, a wise-cracking, smart mouthed, overly talkative 22 year old and I play him very well... but I also play Punisher, a stone cold killer, battling a war against crime that he feels most are too scared to fight in the fashion that he does. Not to name drop here, but I believe Diana, The Earth1 Wonder Woman could vouch for me when I say I'm good at playing him. And I still play a handful more characters that aren't at all like Peter Parker. Though it was for a short time (as in, maybe an hour or two tops) and I wasn't considered an officially DcU character or member, I played the Joker within the DC room and within a few post I had people complimenting me on my portrayal of the character. The point of all this isn't to toot my own horn. What I'm attempting to reassure everyone is that my affinity for different characters and different style ranges widely. I'm not limited to one type of persona or character type.
Jeeze. I start off by saying that it was a simple answer and give you a paragraph worth of explination. Sorry about that. But I do hope you understand where I'm coming from. And if you don't, I hope my RPing ability speaks louder than anything that I have said so far. Thanks Elaine. Appreciate the comment yet again.

This may not seem that important but it is a tiny detail. Batman can bench 800 lbs max, for someone his build and height, he isn't a Bane sized guy, while It's only 200 more pounds, 1 pound is alot if it is over your max. The training section is a little slim I would touch up on that just a bit, The martial arts you have chosen are the standard Batman falls into , I would also add Thai boxing to the list. So I'm not repeating what every one else has said, I will leave my comment strictly on the training portion, if you need assistance with this please contact me over skype anytime. I am however impressed that you didn't list the "Chris Nolan" Batman fighting style so Kudos on that.

Hello Lucifer. Thanks for the comment. I only mentioned Batman being capable of lifting 1000 lbs because there are multiple sources that support the claim. Besides that, there are comic feats of him lifting 1000 pounds on a regular day to day work out schedule. I have comic strips if you want to view them. And also I will elaborate on the skills then. Again, I had thought I initially done enough comparing it to other accepted apps (especially consider some just have the listed skill with description following it) but if more detail is what the majority wants in this particular profile then more detail is what you'll get.
Thanks again for the comment Lucifer.
P.S. Also checking the DC wiki and it states that his strength level allows him to lift 1000 lbs.

The prologue was nice and have a nice slice of life moment with Alfred.
The descriptions of the relationships is good, but could be tweaked due to player histories. Barbara Gordon is Commissioner Gordon's daughter. And check with Wonder Woman about a relationship with Bruce. Currently in our stories she is dating Green Lantern. So you may want to leave that out. Add any other heroes that you think have a close relationship with Batman.
The only thing I would change is the timeline. It is very focused on Batman and his rogues gallery. It's a good start, but you should include any other heroes he encountered before the JL was formed, like Black Canary.

Remember, DC and Marvel both measure physical strength by the more difficult "press lift" aka "military press lift" where Batman's max is 800. Benching is, by an large, easier than press lifting.
