Powers / Abilities
Immortality - Cain does not suffer from the ravages of time nor can he ever permanently die except if allowed by God. Those who do manage to slay him will suffer from the "Mark of Cain" which brings upon his killer/killers a curse seven fold that which he suffers and he will then be returned to life. However, his body can be destroyed, through magical means, in ways that do not "end" his life and he will then be forced to re-constitute himself.
Invulnerability - Highly resistant to injury, only the highest caliber of bullets and explosives can cause him injury. Bladed or blunt instruments/weapons are almost useless against him unless wielded by someone of sufficient strength to injure him (although they are more likely to break in such cases than cause harm) but this invulnerability does to extend to magical or blessed weapons. The greater the magic behind the weapon or true faith of the wielder, with blessed ones, the more damage they can cause up to, for example, cleaving his head from his shoulders as easily as a normal human with a sharp blade.
Regeneration - He is able to regenerate from any damage sustained should he be injured from seconds to months and beyond depending on the damage and his level of strength when he is injured. Minor wounds, such as scratches to bullet wounds, heal within seconds. Missing limbs, minutes. By feeding, Cain is able to heal from most injuries in seconds. Injuries where his body has been greatly damaged, such as entire sections or being cut in half -require- him to feed otherwise he will need a week or more to heal and his strength heavily lessened until he is able to feed. Should his body be destroyed, Cain is able to regenerate over time depending on the severity (ie, should he be reduced to a puddle of gore he will regenerate far faster than if there is little to nothing left).
Superhuman Strength - The strongest among his kind; his strength is great enough to allow him to press lift up to 75 tons of weight. This, coupled with the strength of his claws, allows him to lift, punch, cut, or rip through nearly any physical barrier placed in his path as well as flesh and bone. Cain, if drawing on the power of blood, is able to increase his strength above 100 tons.
Superhuman Stamina - As a vampire, Cain cannot tire as long as he is sufficiently nourished by blood.
Superhuman Speed/Reflexes/Agility - Cain's speed, reflexes, and agility are far beyond that of other vampires and therefore, by extension, greater than a peak level human.
Superhuman Senses - His sense of sight is such that he is able to see in total darkness and the auras of the living and supernatural. His other senses are similarly enhanced to levels beyond that of even those considered mid-tier superhumans.
Flight - Through his psychokinetic power, his speed in the air is such that he is able to reach speeds just under that of breaking the sound barrier and maintains complete maneuverability while flying.
Transformation - Cain, as the originator of the vampire curse, is the one that passed on the ability to transform to his children. As such, he is able to turn into various bat/bat-like creatures, wolves, a "werewolf" (though this is not a true imitation of the curse), and mist.
Psychokinesis - The First passed on the psychokinetic gifts that all vampires have; therefore, he possesses each of them.
Magic - He is a master of blood magic and necromancy, although the latter is rarely used. With blood magic, he is able to wield the elements, transmute objects, manipulate the weather, manipulate his blood and others' for attack and defense, identify magic and create wards.
Magic Absorption - Cain is able to absorb magical energies from other beings and the world around him to empower himself and his kind. His ability with this skill is great enough to weaken some of the more powerful magical beings. NOTE: He cannot compete with the likes of beings such as the Spectre, Doctor Fate, Mordru and the like nor can he absorb any form of spell that is cast at him. -Only- magical energy.
Vampirism - Due to being a vampire, Cain his immune to all natural diseases and, due to his power and age, many magical ones. Should he suffer one, by draining enough blood he is able to effectively "burn" it out of his system.
Weaknesses
(List as many as you need)
Beheading - By cutting off his head, Cain's body is dispersed and he must take time to reconstitute himself.
Powerful Spells and Curses - Although not a way to permanently destroy him, magic of sufficient power can damage, hinder, and imprison him for a time with successive spells, barriers, and castings lengthening the time he is held. A sufficiently powerful being can imprison Cain for one thousand years before he is able to finally free himself.
Blood - Blood is the base behind his great power. Without it, the vampire is greatly weakened from his full strength and, while more than a match for the normal vampire, is a shadow of himself at full strength. His level of power is directly correlated to the length of time since his last feeding and the amount that he drank.
Appearance - Having spent almost his entire existence as a vampire, Cain does not hold any shame or care for his appearance. Therefore, he openly allows himself to appear as a vampire with his eyes, claws, and veins bulging across his chest and forearms.
