Powers / Abilities





Flight - The ability to take flight with a thought, something very natural to her and hardly has to think to do so. She can reach incredible speeds while in flight, can fly even in outer space and other dimensions



Superhuman Speed - Able to move faster than the eye can comprehend more than a 'smear', she is able to run and fly at this rate in any direction without obstacles, which only impede her a tad depending on what they are



Kryptonian Physiology -

~Nearly invulnerable body, impervious to most forms of attack, save for her weaknesses, usually unable to be scarred, cut, broken or otherwise injured

~ Solar Energy Absorption, to which her body absorbs the energy of the "yellow sun" which fuel her body and abilities, also able to store this energy in her form naturally



Enhanced Vision-

~Telescopically able to see great distances with effort, the range to which has not been challenged

~Able to shoot heat out of her eyes at will, beam-like in their direction and capable of incredible heat

~Able to see through any object or person save for lead with x-ray vision

Ice Breath - the ability to use her own breath at any rate she wishes, either a strong, sharp wind or so far as an ice-creating force



Superhuman Hearing - Power Girl is able to hear at great distances miles away and even further, she can train herself to listen for certain sounds to hear for certain people or things easier



Superhuman Stamina - Able to hold out to great lengths in terms of staying awake, using her abilities, especially using her strength



Superhuman Strength - From easily caring people to stopping asteroids, the ability of super strength is most often tested and rarely matched



Superhuman Agility/Reflexes - her Kryptonian physiology speeds up her ability to react faster as well as move with great ease

Kryptonite - As all Kryptonians, she reacts negatively to the alien rock and differently to each of it's colored counter parts



Magic - Karen has not immunities against magic-based powers or attacks, she is as weak to them as a human would be



Psionics - Anything of mental-based attack is a great power against Karen as she has no immunities against them



Limitations - Kara's ability to see through things is completely rendered useless by lead

Year 1 (2013)

~ Karen splits on her own to find a way back home through her own means

~ Karen begins 'buying up geniuses' to pool together technology to find a way home

~ She keeps loose contact with her good friend Helena

~ Karen makes her way to Helena to be close once again and work together

Karen's full lips pulled up into a winning smirk as she pulled the corner of her blue-reflective shades down so that her dark, feathery lashes batted around bright blue eyes. The man across the coffee cafe was sipping his espresso with eyes firmly glued on her when he tipped his mug and missed his lips, spilling the hot contents down his front. He cursed and set his mug down, going for the napkins as she laughed and turned, coffee cup at her lips as she strode out the door, the bell overhead giving off a ring. Boys, they were such fun to play with. If Helena were there she'd probably roll her eyes and tell her she was terrible, but all the while she'd be smiling. Ah, Helena, she needed to give that girl a call, she hadn't gotten to call her a 'prude' in a while. Pulling out her phone, she sorted through the contacts when her ears perked up at the sound of something far off gaining great speed toward the city.

Her eyes lifted and sure enough, reflected in her blue shades, was a blazing piece of asteroid hurtling through the layers of atmosphere. She sighed and shoved her shades back up, taking a lasting sip of her coffee. "I never finish my damn cappuccino." Tossing the cup to the nearby sidewalk trash, she pulled open her dark blue jean jacket and leapt into the air with ease. Gaining speed fast, she went to meet the asteroid with a smile. Her phone rang in her back pocket as she gained altitude and by the ringtone, her favorite band "Get Scared." She plucked the phone out and put it to her ear, "Hel, I'm gonna have to call you back, I kind of need both hands....no, I'm not with a guy....look, I'd love to explain the wonderful things I could be doing but I need to stop an asteroid...yes, again. I'll call you back." The phone slid back home and Karen slowed her speed to meet the massive rock. Connecting with the large piece, she allowed it to push her back down as it hurtled toward New York. She couldn't let it hit this city, the shopping was decent and while the people could use some work, still...the shopping.

Karen narrowed blue eyes and focused on managing her strength with the right balance so as to direct the asteroid, not shatter it with the sheer force she was pushing back against it with. With careful strength, she moved with the threat, angling it toward Hudson Harbor, far out into the water away from the boats and only disturbing the pelicans perched upon the water's surface. They honked and flapped quickly to escape the dark object approaching with the small-in-comparison blond angling it with ease. Once the projection was set, she dodged away from the asteroid and let it sail it's course. It hit the water with a massive roar, sending up a giant wave like the water did a back flip gracefully from the impact. The surface rippled and the waves took several moments to heal from the interruption before the bay had all but forgotten the newcomer to its depths and the surface was peaceful once again.

Power Girl dusted off her hands and looked down to frown and groan. The heat from the incoming problem had singed and burnt at the front of her red shirt and blue denim jacket. "Really? These aren't even a week old!" She sighed and turned to cross her arms over the smoldering fabric and call back Helena. "Hey, about that help you wanted....is there time to go shopping? My threads are sort of...too hot for me."







Super Family Drama

Plot: Karen Starr comes clean and finally faces the Superman of Earth 4, explaning where she and Huntress come from and possibly requiring his help to face up against the villain Darkseid





What Shenanigans Could We Possibly Get Into?

Plot: The girls get back together after their two years apart and find themselves not only easily getting along once more, but eager to spend time together, which leads to both trouble and fun.

I love the application, and I know that the time line is scarce but as a note to others, Barbara is being so kind as to work around the timeline with me who already has some extensive history and we have been working it out separately. I think with a bit of practice you'll be the best PG yet.

I already approve but will wait on the others to see what (if anything) they have to add.

Thank you so much, Hel! I do apologize, the timeline and details there are quite thin and I don't prefer such, but it's a matter of nailing it out alongside Huntress that will thicken it up, but if needed, I can work on more of what Karen was up to in that time away from Helena.

[Batman]

1. Power Girl is Neutral Good, not Chaotic Good. She is lawful and will try her best not to hurt anyone excessively, but she isn't afraid to kill out of self defense or when forced with no other option. She wouldn't hold her punches against an equal or greater foe, but would against inferior opponents or threats.

Chaotic Good usually follows a philosophy of "The ends justify the means" where as neutral good is typically "You have a gun, I have a gun. That makes us even as far as I'm concerned."

2. The story ideas are meant for villains, but they are optional. I would entertain the idea of Karen succeeding in the ability to return to Earth 2. Allowing Helena and Karen to see the fate of their universe, it's destruction, perhaps be grateful they're alive or understand that there is no "Going home" option.
