The bond they share is far beyond that of any sibling relationship. Donna often does the things that Diana can't do for herself like acting irrationally or acting on impulse.
Hippolyta: Hippolyta decided to give Donna her powers after accepting her as an Amazonian. She adopted Donna as her daughter in hope that her and Diana would both prosper in the Man's World while still having a sisterly Amazonian relationship.
Richard Grayson: Dick, as Donna calls him, is her best friend and admirer. They both work along-side each other very well during missions, but Donna is often unwilling to admit her feelings for him. Her belief is that a romantic relationship would impair her ability to fight in certain situations.
Cassandra Sandsmark: After being adopted by the Wonder family Cass welcomed Donna. When Donna feels discouraged Cass gives her the confidence to do her best.

"Wonder Girl reporting, I'm on my way to the tower. Let me know if things get--" Donna was cut off by the sound of an explosion which had caused her photoshoot set to fall. "...messy." Luckily no one else was in the office that day, but she still hurried outside of the building to check the damage. Three bystanders had been left in a massive fire on the sixth and eighth floors of an apartment building. She snuck away to change into her leotard. Donna's heart raced after she had finished changing. Her mind was flooded with the emotional baggage she had experienced as a child.
Wonder Girl flew into the building on instinct. She hadn't considered if anyone had been watching her change or if the fire was too out of control. It was natural instinct for her to care this way for others, but the fire was what fueled her. As a child she had been left to die in a fire as wild as this one. However, Diana had saved her. Her sister was the hero Donna had always wanted to be. Living up to the Wonder Woman name was no easy achievement though she was determined to resort to anything in order to attain the title.
"Quick! Jump into my arms!" The first bystander was trapped by the fire which had already torn a hole into the floor beneath her. Wonder Girl trusted the woman enough to have her jump and to her delight she did. The woman was brought to safety on an open roof. "One down two to go!"
The next bystander was an elderly man who had been trapped under a metal file cabinet. "Are you injured?" The man shook his head. He simply couldn't push off the cabinet by himself. With one hand Donna gripped the cabinet and pulled it right-side up. "Come with me." The elder held onto Wonder Girl willingly. Suddenly fire had spread to the eighth floor by now where the last bystander was trapped. There were few exits from the building, but Donna wouldn't stop there. "Don't let go." As she held up the elder in one arm she used the other arm to punch a hole into the wall blocking their escape. And so it was on to the last bystander.
"I-I can't do it!" A little girl was stuck in her play room. It was up to Donna to save her. Memories flooded back as she stood above the child who was now hanging onto a pipeline for dear life. "I can't leave you here! Grab my arm! You're a strong girl! I know you have it in you. I won't leave you here. Please trust me!" Wonder Girl felt venerable. Who could have left such a sweet girl alone in a fire? "You have to believe me. You may not have my strength, but you are more powerful than you think! If you can put your mind to it I know you can do more things than you think you're capable of doing!" Just like her older sister. Enough words of encouragement to keep trudging on with any task. And suddenly the girl did more than take Donna's arm. She swung from the pipeline and leapt into her arms. Wonder Girl made a desperate attempt to fly out of the building just as it began to crumble to the ground. She would have to have a strict talk with the parents of this girl.
