Powers / Abilities
Tamaranean Physiology: Natural to all Tamaranean's, comes the ability to absorb ultraviolet radiation constantly and change it to energy which can be used at their discretion.
Energy Absorption: Due to her physiology, Starfire has the natural ability to absorb ultraviolet radiation, not only from the sun, but also from other beings that may hold such energy within them.
Flight: Although the speed at which Starfire can fly has not yet been determined, she has been known to cross space in a portion of the time it would take a space ship flying without specific technology to incur FTL. This leaves an energy blaze behind her, almost like a trail of fire.
Starbolts: Her captors, the Psions, performed many experiments on her over the years of her imprisonment, but perhaps the most beneficial to Starfire was the solar absorption testing, which granted her the ability to gather that energy into a ball around her fists or feet and unleash the story energy into blasts. Another ability is also the psuedo nova blast, with heats rivaling stars.
Superhuman Durability: Although appearing invulnerable at times, Starfire can be killed. She has a great source of durability, able to cope with grevious amounts of damage before she will finally succumb.
Superhuman Strength: Like Superman, the Tamaranean race have strength that far surpasses humans on a daily basis. Starfire can lift many times her own weight without even breaking a sweat. But there is a limit to how much strength she packs.
Lingustic Assimilation: As shown in the past with kisses, this is her choice way of acquiring language and possibly knowledge in general, through touch with another sentient being.
Weaknesses
Allergy: Many Tamaraneans, is allergic to Metallic Chromium. When they sneezes, they unleashes explosive snot out thir nose and mouth.
Emotion: Emotional entanglements affects their powers as it inhibts their conceration.
Lack of Sunlight: Constant lack of sunlight will decrease the strength of their powers.

Sun in the sky, cool breezes along the sandy beach and warm, clear waters to swim in. This was the life that Koriand'r had chosen for herself. With such a coloured history, could anyone believe this drop dead gorgeous alien was living it up on her very own island, free of the baggage of her past? Hardly. The Tamaranean had once been pure, sweet and kind, only to have that ripped away from her over the years. Love will do that to any woman, but none more than her own people, who felt things much more strongly than these Earthlings. Taking in the spring-time sea salt atmosphere, the orange-skinned female lay on the hot sand, eyes closed, enjoying every moment she soaked up those solar rays.
While it had been lonely to live for herself since she 'lost' her memories of a certain Bat Family member, it had also been simple and less stressed. To be able to go out and have fun when she wished, unattached to the pain that had almost consumed her whole, well everyone knew that was what Starfire had been about from day one. The bubbly teenager might have been gone, but she was replaced by a mature bombshell. There were times, brief moments she thought back to the name and face she could no longer remember, often drifting back to the suit on her ship to take in that smell foreign to her. It was gone and that was sadly something she couldn't change. Her ability to seal away her love had come at a price and the alien questioned time and time again whether she would feel that way ever again.
The princess refused to be hurt once more, so there was the chance she wouldn't even try if that love fell in her lap. Regardless of all these mysteries and anxieties, her self imposed solitude eventually came to an end with the presence of one male on her island. Kory had been looking after him for the last few days, even offered him to wear the very suit she cherished as it was one of few outfits that would fit a male of his build. It was the reason she was laying here now, wondering why he wouldn't accept her gracious offer. They had briefly spoken on it, but it left more questions than answers. "I find myself bored this day and most distressed. Can we not away and find something fun to do?" Her tone was insistent toward the other, indicating she likely wouldn't be sticking around even if he said no.
