Weaknesses
(List as many as you need)
Weakness - The Human Race: Clark’s love for Earth and all Mankind is considerable to the point of being obsessive, often used by his enemies to force him into no win situations but threatening the people he cares so much for. Several times in the days before he became Superman, he used his abilities in full view of humans to stop them from being hurt/killed, exposing himself and usually causing those he saved to fear him out of misunderstanding.
Weakness - Kryptonite: Irradiated pieces of his home world, Krypton, these rocks seem harmless to normal human beings, but when in proximity to Superman cause him to feel weakened and drained, the longer the exposure, the greater the effects.
Weakness - Magic: Superman has been shown to have a weakness to magic, while it isn't more effective on him than anyone else, it does seem to penetrate his natural Kryptonian defenses.
Weakness- Failure: Superman and Clark are used to a life of success, on the rare occasions that he does fail to save a life or complete a task, he takes it hard and begins wondering on what more he could have done.
Weakness: Red Solar Energy: Solar radiation from a red star do not allow Superman the enhanced abilities, putting him on par with an average human when absorbing the solar rays. Return to a Yellow start atmosphere restores his abilities.
Weakness: While a competent Brawler, Superman has no formal combat training with the exception of his father's limited boxing lessons and in most battles uses his wits and abilities to carry him through. He has been shown to have trouble subduing people with equal power / strength and more combat prowess. (This is referring more to his early years as with anything the more battles you have the more proficent you become at it.)

Audition post
It was a slow day at the Daily Planet, a few business types involved in a scandal, a couple of stores robbed and one man mugged heading home from work, standard stuff. Clark was found sitting in front of his computer, his fingers moving over the smooth keys of his keyboard in what felt like an excruciating fashion, for a man that could type more than a thousand words per second, keeping just shy of 200 was tough work. He had chosen his clothes carefully, though not for style or compliments, just the opposite, a simple sweater that did little to define his form, a jacket that was a little too big in the shoulders to hide his broad physique, comfortable, loose legged pants and very inexpensive shoes. He’d allowed his glasses to slide just a bit too far down his nose when he heard footsteps approaching. He turned to see the eager photographer Jimmy Olsen standing before him. “Hey, CK, whatcha working on?” He’d done this a thousand times, it was necessary, but it never stopped feeling just a bit foolish, turning in very suitable mock surprise, he spilled a coffee cup full of ink pens along the floor of his office. Intentionally, he spoke softly while picking them up. “Hey, Jimmy, nothing too big, I have a lead on poor standards at the local meat packing plant.” Jimmy had knelt to collect a few of the pens as well before handing them back to Clark. “Oh, well, uh, sounds...interesting.” Clark smiled politely, placing the collection of writing utensils back into their makeshift holder. “Yeah, it’s a real knockout, what about you?”
Jimmy did not have time to mention what he was working on as a hail of police, ambulance and fire cars rushed down the street, their wailing sirens blaring in the young reporters ears. As Jimmy and the other reporters rushed to the windows and phones to try and get ahead of the situation, Clark was on the move. He quickly dashed through the seldom used roof access and began changing on his way up the stairs. In a matter of seconds the unassuming guise of Clark Kent was replaced with the imposing figure of Superman, Earth’s mightiest hero. He hid his clothes between a couple of air conditioning units before focusing his hearing on the police radios beneath. “Calling all cars, calling all cars, we have a 134 in progress at Metropolis mall, I repeat, the suspect is wielding automatic weapons.” He was already through the doors of the mall before focus brought his hearing away from the scanners.
The man was dressed tactically, firing shells at random and without seeming to have a target. The world around him became a blur, a mix of beautiful whites that sped past his line of vision as he made a quick dash to stop the impending projectiles from hitting any innocent civilians. His eyes focused on the masked man, he willed himself to see through the layers of mesh and to the man’s face. His pupils were dilated, heart rate extremely elevated, and he could smell the alcohol on his breath. ‘The man is clearly intoxicated, no time to talk him down.’ He finally got his chance as the man’s clip ran empty. In a fraction of a second he was face to face with Superman, he dropped his second magazine in surprise and Superman was quick to pull the gun from his hand and rip the device in two before dropping it to the ground. “It’s over.” The man reached for the pistol strapped to his waist, only to find that being dismantled in front of him as well. In the next moment, Clark applied a mere fraction of his power to the man’s temple, knocking him unconscious just as police arrived on the scene.
“Alright, pu...Oh, Superman, shoulda known you’d be here first.” He smiled brightly, standing straight as he carried the man toward the officer. “I was in the neighborhood.” The officer smiled, holstering his weapon before applying handcuffs to the man and moving toward the nearest ambulance. “You always seem to be, you keep going, you’re gonna put us out of a job.” He grinned, offering a shrug of his shoulders. “Just doing what I can.” As he stepped into the parking lot of Metropolis mall and explosion of camera shutters and the figure of Metropolises chief of police approaching him. “Superman! How is it that you always get here in the nick of time?” He extended his hand, and Superman shook it warmly. “I don’t know chief, perhaps your budget should include some engine upgrades next quarter.” He quickly handed the man the broken rifle. “He’s drunk, the rifles been modified from semi automatic to full, my guess is disgruntled employee.” The chief handed off the evidence and nodded. “Well, we appreciate the help, son.” “Anytime, Chief.” He was in the air, the sound of shutters snapping marking his wake.
Once he arrived back at the planet, he quickly changed back into his clothes and made his way downstairs and into his cubicle, it was another 30 minutes of typing the dull report when Jimmy came back to his desk again. “Clark! What are you doing here!” Clark jumped, the motion banging his knee against his desk and sending stacks of papers and other essentials scattering in all directions. “This report…” He began shortly, before Jimmy interrupted. “Report? Man, no one gives a damn about poor meat standards, you missed all the action! There was a gunmen at the mall, everyone was down there!” Clark raised a brow before standing and looking about. “Really? I had just went to the restroom, I didn’t know anyone had left...” “Didn’t know anyone had left? Man, you gotta get outta your head CK, Superman was there and everything! Beat the cops to the punch, not a single casualty thanks to him! You should try harder to pay attention, like Superman, that’s a guy with his eye on the ball!” Jimmy walked away while Clark continued to feign his abashed look, swelling with pride after a pep talk from his number one fan.
