Physique: Kara has a slender figure with a decent set of curves despite her young age on Earth. She is very fit but does not physically show tone. She has a smaller frame with soft, rounded shoulders and hips to match.

Powers / Abilities
Flight - the ability to float, fly, glide or the like at will. This ability is due to her DNA different than that of a human's where her body absorbs the rays of the "yellow sun" of Earth and converts it into the ability to manipulate her match with gravity.
Strength - the super-enhanced natural strength of a human to an extreme degree, also based through the use of absorbing the rays of the sun. This ability grants her the strength to easily maneuver heavy items, crush things with her bare hands and deliver powerful blows in a fight.
Heat Vision - the ability to use her eyes as a sort of laser, projecting an intensely hot beam from her eyes at will with a heat like something close to the sun.
Ice Breath - the ability to blow out breath at will that is several degrees below zero, enough to cause frost, snow or even pure ice.
Invulnerability - while she is NOT invulnerable to harm, it certainly appears like it to those bound by Earth. Her body can sustain extremes of most any kind, heat, cold, pressure- and still leave her usually I phased and sometimes unnoticed of the change. She is impervious to bullets, knives and other weapons. While the force of a cannon would send her hurtling through the air, it would merely be the force itself, not causing injury.
Hearing - the ability to perceive sounds from a great distance away with better than perfect clarity, even able to distinguish between frequencies and pitches. This has not been tested as to just how far away she can hear, but it is used as far as from a satellite hearing a child's cry on Earth.
Vision - the ability to see better than any human or even machinery yet to be created by man. She is able to perceive down to a microscopic level or far out into the stars. This does not allow her to curve her vision around items, but anything in her line of sight is perfect clarity no matter the distance.
X-Ray Vision- the ability to actually see through any material with the exception of lead or lead-lines items. This grants her the use to see through whole buildings, into the Earth itself, or to peel back layers of vision, this can be used as well to see under the flesh of another person, under the layer of muscle, organs and down to the skeleton. This works as well on looking through levels of brick, wiring, steel frames and beyond.
Speed - the ability to travel at speeds barely able to be seen by the human eye. While she is not faster than The Flash, she can run or fly at speeds that create her form to seem as a blur to others, maneuvering with precision and able to speed certain parts of her body such as her fingers to cause vibration.
Memory - the ability to obtain vast amount of information at rapid speeds and harness the memory with no trouble. If her senses have brushed with it, she doesn't forget. This can be used in learning new languages, catching up on situations and more within a few moments or the blink of an eye.
Weaknesses
Kryptonite - The meteor itself causes multiple symptoms when in the presence of, or introduced to, Kara. It has the opposite effect of the power of the "yellow sun," draining her of her abilities in all aspects, taking her down to the normalcy of being human. But further still, if kept close for longer times, it reduces her even further. The longer the exposure, the more drain it becomes with the threat of taking her life if exposed too long.
Life - Kara is a heroine by all accounts and as taught by her peers, Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman, she regards lives of those innocent or considered not as things to be protected at all cost. This is A weakness for any hero where as it tears their attention for compassion into something to be used against them in a distraction, lure, or what have you.
Emotions - Kara is a rather emotional creature and being a young woman/teenager rides this even higher. The temper and mood swings of a super-powered alien teenage girl are asking for trouble. While Kara is clever and uses her intellect, she also tends to be rash and impulsive, make her emotional state something of great weakness to her adversaries.
Youth/Inexperience - Being unaccustomed to the ways of Earthlings, as well as other general inexperienced and lack of knowledge has left her with gaps of issues and weaknesses. She is not completely understanding of common phrases, lessons, or the like due to such little time spent on Earth.
Loved Ones - Kara's emotions play into the fact that she invests them so greatly into those she cares for. When she cares, she gives it her all and this makes every person she sees as dear to her heart a target. Her love and acceptance can mean she falls into trickery and deceit as well that she will lose the edge of logical thinking and reactions when those she loves are in danger.
Red Solar Energy - Red Star Energy is. It the same as Yellow and actually acts something like Kryptonite in that it reduces Kara from her Kryptonian strength and gifts to that of a normal human being. This will last as long as she is near the energy and some time after, though nearness and treatment from the yellow sun will speed the process of recovery back to full potential.
Character Time Line
Pre-Year 1
- Kara excels toward graduating the Explorer's Guild
- She is given a mission among a ship to explore the other Kryptonian Colony posts
- Dev-Em commits first murder in centuries, killing Kara's best friend, is stopped by Kara
- Kryptonian authorities deem it unfit to kill the offender as they are not so barbaric as Thanagarians
- Kara graduates the Explorer's Guild
- Kara is given a Scout Ship and sent out to an unnamed destination
- Dev-Em has been found to have escaped from custody and unbeknownst to anyone has smuggled aboard Kara's ship
- Dev-Em sets a course to find a planet habitable by Kryptonians to spread the race and his rule
- Dev-Em wakes all members of the crew save for Kara and forcefully makes them his crew
- Decades go by in space and the crew slowly wastes away to skeletons but Dev-Em survives
- Kara wakes from stasis to find her crew dead and Dev-Em among her ship on a new course not set by her
- Kara and Dev-Em fight aboard the ship, damaging it terribly and crash-landing it on the nearest planet (Earth)
Year 1 (2013)
- Dev-Em is killed in the crash and Kara exits the ship to meet her first Earthlings, Batman and Superman
- Kara is manipulated by Daekseid and helped by Kal El, Batman and Wonder Woman
- Kal El takes her under his wing and catches her up on the past and present
- Kara takes on the responsibilities of being Supergirl
- Kara battles Lex Luthor and Black Kryptonite
Year 2 (2014)
- Kara runs further, growing into herself as Supergirl
- Kara is made an auxiliary member of the Justice League
Audition post
The blow landed hard to her stomach, which she'd foolishly left open. The Amazons had trained her better than that, but habits were hard to break when you were nearly invulnerable and at times, arrogant about it. She was still young and foolish, and she was sure she'd hear an earful from Kal when he found out, then Diana too. Never the less, the blow sent her sailing back as the wind knocked out of her in a rush. The crimson of her cape flapped around her frame, blond hair moving the same just before her body slammed into the hard wall of rock.
She slid to land on a knee and coughed, tasting the coppery remnant of blood on her tongue as her bright blue eyes raised and she glared at the man in the technic logical suit. "I'd tell you to pick on I someone your own size," Supergirl rose to her feet and smeared the blood running down her chin to her blue sleeve. "But it wouldn't do you much good, your big suit is like a sign screaming that you Google 'average penis size' too much." At least, that how she thought the phrase was supposed to go, she was still catching up on earth phrases and terms. Google had been a wonder, and she'd read through search after search for twelve days and still not learned everything, even at the speed she could read. There was, however, a lot of cat videos and pop fiction.
She didn't give him the chance to respond, instead she pushed off from the ground and shot at him like a bullet from a gun. He saw her telegraph and do as she'd planned, reaching to grab her as she came close. But she was faster and her reactions weren't so dull as a human's like Luthor's were, even in his souped-up suit. Kara took the opportunity of his arms extended and grabbed the forearms of his suit, lifting over him in an arch and used the force to pull him through it with her. The action picked up Lex off his feet and swung him over her then into the air and down onto the ground with a loud clatter. She lifted and slammed again and again before swinging and tossing him far into the air.
His form tumbled, he trying to engage is jet balances to right him. Just as he had, she slammed into him at full force and angled back down to slam him into the ground p. It sent red dust up in a cloud and she didn't waste a moment. While she had him fluttering to react, she needed to keep changing tactic and attack, that's what Kal had taught her. Yet, she knew that in this, Batman's warning was with her as well. She was a strong force and Alex was a smart man, he would outdo her with tactic and wait for her to blow through her energy, which is what Batman would have done.
Keeping this in mind, Kara grabbed the front of his suit and slammed her red-booted foot down onto the knuckles of his left hand, where the different hues of Kryptonite glistened. The metal and rocks crumbled under the force and she glared at Lex face to face. "You should have been Googling what it's like to lose to Supergirl."
