Ok! So it's been in the works for almost 3 months now; the new activity policy. Well, we're nearing the end of its development and how its going to proceed.
We'll explain more on how that will work in a later date. Right now my objective is to focus on "Canon" characters.
[DCU] has determined and defined canon characters as character whom have submitted applications for them. Pay attention here: If you have not submitted an application for a character, you are no longer going to be "canon" to any DCU arc.(NOTE* This is a FORMALITY to already established characters. You won't lose your character if we don't like your application, but please...don't just half-ass it, new members will be looking at these!)
Previously senior members were pardoned of this (Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Deathstroke, Doctor Fate, Black Canary, Batman, Superman, Lois Lane, Green Arrow, Martian Manhunter, Aquaman...etc etc)
This is no longer the case. We have a lot of characters that need to have their applications submitted so that we will be able to properly catalog activity and measure who wants to play what character and who is "filling in" a character. Below is a list of characters who need to submit an application.
If you don't have the time to finish all of your apps, we suggest you focus on the characters you will *most likely* play and worry less about the characters you wouldn't mind giving up. Ultimately the more characters you have, the greater expectation you will have in terms of the activity policy.
(NOTE: THE LIST MAY NOT CONTAIN EVERYONE'S CHARACTER AND IF IT DOES NOT AND YOU HAVE NOT SUBMITTED AN APPLICATION ASSUME YOU MUST.)
JUST TO CLARIFY ONCE AGAIN: If you do NOT put in an application for the character(s) that you want to play, you will not be able to play that character in canon until you go through an official application process and someone else will be able to apply for the character and take the spot if you wait too long. Also, if you play a villain character or just happened to "pick it up" for a story or two, it's fine not to put in an application, but if you continue to want to play it please put in the application and just fill in the spot, we don't want new people having to adhere to a ton of already done backstory for a new character. So play villains within reason.
Deadline: June 12th (2 weeks from today) at midnight East coast.
