With an IQ of over 200, he shows vast superiority even when compared to other geniuses. He is able of mentally solving multiple complex equations in a little over a minute, has mastered a large myriad of different sciences, many of them at a very young age and through self-taught. According to Brainiac, Lex Luthor is the smartest human being alive, with his intelligence being classified at 9th Level Intellect.
Ability - Business Management: Lex is one of the savviest and most cunning business man in the world. He started from practically nothing and was able to build one of the largest and most profitable corporate empires in the modern times. Luthor shows both extreme focus and perseverance in his goals, which combined with his unparalleled intellect, resulted in LexCorp being a company that is not only prolific and ever growing in power, but that has never been affected by any modern economic crisis or disturbance. Ability - Multilingual: Lex Luthor can fluently speak English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Russian, Chinese, Mandarin, Japanese and Korean.
Weaknesses
Weakness - Humanity: Lex Luthor, despite his incredible intellect, is still completely human and possesses all the weakness of any other being of his kind. Physical blows can easily damage him, and depending on their intensity, incapacitate him or even kill him. He is susceptible to diseases like any other person, and has little chance of surviving Gunfire. And while he has developed many ways of compensating his human limitations (Such as his Warsuit), in an average state he would always be defeated by Metahumans.
Weakness - Arrogance: Lex Luthor is extremely arrogant, and often underestimates the capabilities of others. This may lead to him being outsmarted, deceived or made a fool of.
Weakness - Lack of Psychical Skills: Lex is a man of mostly average physique, who can easily be overpowered by men and women of greater strength. Similarly, he has little experience in combat, nor any formal fighting training, and so it is not difficult to physically defeat him.

Inside a vast empty room, a man stood, his clean, well tailored attired and his formal, calculated posture indicating his nature as a man of class and elegance. His slender formed wrapped in shadows, the room was devoid of light, with the exception of the many thin monitors attached to the large wall in front of him. With his bright green eyes holding an expression of restrained hatred, he stared into the images displayed in said monitors. Images of a man who had forever changed the world. An otherworldly being adored by the masses. A larger than life figure as tall as it was muscular, dressed in tones of bright red and deep blue. Superman.
The Man of Tomorrow had been living among humans for years, yet Lex Luthor remembered the day he first appeared in Metropolis like it was yesterday. He remembered his initial shock as he first saw him effortlessly defying the laws of physics, flying at incalculable speeds and displaying herculean feats of strength. He remembered how, for the smallest moment, his sanity and common sense made him instantly believe he had grown mad, insisting that The Man of Steel was merely a delusion. And he remembered his horror as he realized that there truly were gods living among men.
An old man with short dark copper hair, wearing thick glasses and a white labcoat would enter the room. Upon hearing the opening of the door, Lex turned to the man. “Evening, Dr.Federov.” With the press of a button on a remote controller, all of the monitors were shut down. “I take it you’ve come to inform me of something.” He spoke with an educated softness to his voice, slowly walking towards the man. “Yes, Mr.Luthor. I’d like you to follow me to the Lower Level #4, there have been… interesting developments in the Genetic Development division“. Lex nodded, and began walking through the facility’s long, metallic corridors alongside the scientist. After some minutes of walking, the two men entered an elevator, and upon pressing the desired button, began descending into the underground.
“Project D-18, I presume.” Lex inquired. The scientist nodded. “Yes, Mr.Luthor. The current results have been… astounding, to say the least.” Sergei Federov intertwined his fingertips for a moment, gaze slightly tilted downwards as he spoke in that rather weak tone of his. A small smile of satisfaction formed on Lex’s lips. “Astounding? How so?” He asked.
“I… Have been accompanying Project D-18’s progress since it’s inception, and at first I was highly skeptical of your vision. To put it simply, it was absurd. The DNA samples we had available were minuscule, reconstructing an entire body from it was nigh-impossible. To make matters worst, that was Alien DNA we were handling, we couldn’t possibly know if it’s internal body structure was entirely comparable to those of humans… And yet, not only is it development, but it’s growth is exponential.”
A dry chuckle came from Luthor’s throat. “Of course it is. I conceived the whole process.” Ever since the Kryptonian first made his presence public back in 2008, Lex had invested a fortune into extensive research around the globe, searching for anything that would be considered extraordinary. Alien Lifeforms, skeletons of bizarre creatures, artifacts that defied the explanations of modern science, all and much more were found. And unsurprisingly, as the next couple of years went along, the world kept growing stranger. Reported sightings of men with hawk wings came from the Pacific Northwest. Renowned historians from Harvard and Oxford were applauded upon showcasing theories claiming that the Greek Myths were real. A woman capable of incredible feats of sorcery was supposedly seen in San Francisco. Otherworldly beings wrapped in bright emerald aura appeared in Coast City. West of Polynesia, a gigantic city was found under the Pacific Ocean’s waters, and speculations regarding the existence of Atlantis became big.
The masses were left in awe as they admired the Olympians of the 21th Century. For the first time, they felt - knew that there were true heroes in the world, guardian angels of incomparable power, tireless in their never-ending battle for truth and justice. Lex Luthor was never one of the masses. Instead, he saw the end. The end humanity’s potential. The end of their dreams. The end of their relevance. In his nightmares, he could visualize a world in which men had grown into weaklings. A species with no will, no achievements, that didn’t create anything. A horde of mindless spectators, always depending on their Gods in flowing capes. A world where millennium of human evolution had been rendered meaningless. Lex Luthor knew that he had to save humanity from that horrible end.
Having arrived in the Lower Level #4 and walked through it’s dimly lit corridors, Luthor and Federov stood in front of a laboratory large metallic door. As it slowly opened, strong crimson light assaulted Lex’s eyes, but only for a brief moment. As he stepped into the lab, Lex was left in awe, his bright green eyes fixating on his creation: At the very center of the lab, inside a gigantic chamber made of metal and glass, a creature grew. It was visibly deformed, an arm oversized, a leg withered. It’s skin was of a dead grey, a couple of organs were exposed, an in order to survive, it had to be attached to many cables and tubes and covered in deep crimson chemical compounds. “It’s beautiful, isn’t it?” The doctor asked. Lex slowly walked towards it, his eyes locked on it’s form. He pushed his right arm forward, pressing his palm against the glass. “Stunningly so.” He added.
His creation was far from perfect. It had cost him countless sleepless nights in order to be designed, and billions to apply said designs. And it would cost him many billions more. Regardless, it didn’t stop it from being a wonder. A Biochemically Enhanced clone of the world’s most powerful being. A miracle of modern science, made possible not through arcane arts of the ancient east, or artifacts of lost civilizations, or alien technology, but through the brilliant mind of an otherwise completely normal human. This would be his gift to the world. His ultimatum to all superhumans. His chance to remove the curtains and reveal the fragilities and weakness hidden behind their muscles of steel.
A smile formed on Lex Luthor’s lips. “… Soon, when it is finally completely, I’ll expose him for what he truly is…” He spoke. “E-Excuse me?” Dr.Federov asked Lex with widened eyes. Turning his gaze to the man, Luthor’s smile grew. “Once we asked ourselves if we believed a man could fly. That question has been answered. Now, a propose a new conundrum for humanity: Do you believe a superman can bleed?” For a moment, the two remained in silence. “I think that they can.”
