Here ya go.
Character Origin: As I've said before, I'm a bit of comic purist when it comes to these things; however, I will be relying on comics for the foundation and reaching out across footage of BT from Arrow, Arkham Origins, and animated Batman movies to try and nail down some common traits and create a credible depiction of him.
Face Claim's Name: Michael Jai White
Name: Benjamin Turner
Alias: Bronze Tiger
Race: Human.
Age: 37
Birthday: n/a
Alignment: Good
Height: 6'3
Weight: 240 lbs
Hair: Black
Eyes: Brown
Physique: Ben is generally depicted as having a wrestler's body type. He's a physically imposing guy with large traps, broad shoulders, a wide chest, a short, thick neck and a somewhat lean figure in spite of how bulky he looks in some panels. He has a nice balance of muscle mass that enables him to move quickly and overpower his adversaries if need be.
Training: Taught by the legendary O-Sensei, Ben has demonstrated a knowledge in Aikido, Karate, Kung Fu, Jiujitsu, Ninjutsu and Judo. O-Sensei has additionally credited himself as a master of other arts such as Boxing and Savate, elements of which could've been passed down to his students. For a long time, he and Richard Dragon were equals (sans Richard's awesome necklace). He was also brainwashed and trained by the League of Assassins to kill. As part of mastering the Karate, Kung Fu, and Ninjutsu styles, Ben also possesses a mastery of multiple weapons. It's not far-fetched to assume that he's capable of using far more than just the weapons he's been depicted as carrying.
Equipment: Varies with Bronze Tiger. Sometimes he's been depicted as carrying katanas, knives, and retractable claws. I imagine he would use whatever is called for in his next mission, despite his heavy preference for hand-to-hand combat.
Powers / Abilities
Legendary Martial Artist: Under the seven year tutelage of O-Sensei, Ben has acquired skills that have allowed him to defeat the likes of Batman, Deathstroke, Catman and other formidable adversaries in straight up hand to hand combat battles. As a martial artist, he has a thorough understanding of human anatomy and has been known to utilize that by attacking pressure points. He has been trained by the League of Assassins to kill and even prior had possessed a knowledge of Ninjutsu, which allowed him to infiltrate military bases as a fresh-faced 25 year old. Needless to say, Bronze Tiger is considered to be one of the best martial artists in the DC universe hands down.
Weapons Mastery: Ben has demonstrated an ability to use bladed weapons in combat on multiple occasions. While he hasn't often utilized other weapons (despite most likely having the ability to), he can be seen using a knife in his battle with Catman and carrying a katana in the New 52 depictions of him. To give a comparison, early iterations of Lady Shiva portray her as a weapons specialist, and her sister is the goddaughter of O-Sensei, who trained Richard Dragon and Ben Turner. It can be assumed that Lady Shiva has trained under O-Sensei and learned some of that weapons mastery from him. While this doesn't put Ben Turner at her skill level, a lot can be said for O-Sensei's credibility as a teacher of weapons combat, assuming that Shiva's familial lineage has indeed led to her training under him.
League of Assassins Training: Being trained to kill is different from being trained to fight. That being said, in his conditioning, I have no doubt that the League of Assassin imparted knowledge to Ben. During the Suicide Squad's battle with the Jihad, Ravan asked Ben why he wouldn't kill despite training with the League of Assassins, and Ben stated that he didn't remember it and therefore refused to give Ravan the death he asked for. Following Ben's deprogramming, he regained his memory of his tenure (so to speak) with the League of Assassins and, along with it, most likely the training he received.
Leadership: Picked up during his tenure in the Suicide Squad, Ben started out as a silent second-in-command. When Rick Flag was demoted by Amanda Waller, Ben was immediately promoted as a leader and gradually developed that skill as the Suicide Squad completed more and more missions.
Tactical analysis: Best exemplified in the panels of the early Suicide Squad issues, Ben displays an excellent analytical ability that allows him to leverage any advantages he has against superpowered adversaries. This goes back to Ben's leadership abilities, as he's capable of leveraging this knowledge to guide his teammates to the best possible outcome. His status as a strategist and tactician are on par with warriors such as Batman and Deathstroke, who utilize their own strategic/tactical knowledge to compensate for any inferiority they may have as martial artists and defeat their foes (i.e. Deathstroke defeat Cassandra Cain despite Cain being a superior martial artist). Ben's ability to take them down shows that he is a very capable tactician himself.
High intellect: Ben has, on multiple occasions, demonstrated impressive intellect as a leader and a combatant. He is capable of looking at situations and coming up with tactful solutions regardless of whether or not they are combat related. Also, Ben has exercised some instances of basic medial knowledge when helping his fallen teammates.
Pedagogy: Ben has proven himself to be an incredible instructor. He's opened up his own school on multiple occasions and if you want to look to his successes then look no further than Cassandra Cain -- another one of DC universe's most dangerous martial artists.
Chi Manipulation: After breaking his knee, Ben was able to manipulate his chi to speed up his recovery from a matter of months to a matter of days. It is unclear what else this manipulation can be used for.
Empathy: Ben is able to read and understand emotions without clear indicators. While not a superpower, this ability has allowed Ben to communicate with people who are ordinarily more reserved. He's a great listener as well.
Weaknesses
Humanity: Ben is peak human at best. He has proven himself strong enough to damage pressure points through steel skin, but has succumbed to his natural limitations in many other situations as well. One glaring example is 'The Final Price,' where the team found themselves ill-equipped to deal with Manhunter androids. Ben tried to fight these androids but broke his knee in the process and was unable to continue with the mission.
Compassion: As cold as it sounds, Ben's compassion is a weakness. As a leader, Ben would often disobey direct orders from Waller to save teammates. The entire point of the Squad is that they're supposed to be disposable -- Ben would risk his own life or the lives of others on the team if he thought he could save one of them from dying. This is, however, balanced by the fact that Ben has displayed great judgment in the past and is usually good at making these kinds of calls.
Note: I would list the conditioning of the League of Assassins as a weakness but as far as I'm aware there doesn't seem to be a big LoA group and I'm therefore playing Ben post-deprogramming. My iteration of Ben has already established a fearsome reputation as one of the universe's best martial artists and is generally benevolent -- as he was shown to be in later issues of the Suicide Squad and Richard Dragon. If anything, it's a testament to his mental fortitude.
Character Time Line
1978 - Born.
1996 - Graduates high school. Angry, fatherless youth who's already killed two burgulars who tried to rob his mom. Goes to train under O-Sensei, where he channels and eventually conquers that anger. This is best observed in the early Richard Dragon issues \where Ben remains composed in the face of racism and other forms of blatant disrespect.
2003 - As listed in the comics, Ben and Richard trained under O-Sensei for 7 years. After training, Ben and Richard are encouraged to find their own bath and begin taking jobs for the G.O.O.D. organization with Barney Ling. This is how they get into acting as heroes.
2008 - That makes five years of adventures with Ben and Richard Dragon. In this time Ben inherited a large settlement of land from his sister, opened up a martial arts school with Richard Dragon and met and tragically lost his girlfriend to the evil machinations of Professor Ojo.
2013 - After being captured in an arctic base during a mission with Dragon and Lady Shiva, Turner mysteriously disappears. Barney Ling turns out to be a traitor and Ben his brainwashed into becoming one of the League of Assassins, where he establishes a fearsome reputation across the world.
2015 - King Faraday sets up a rescue flag and capture Ben. He's deprogrammed and works for the Suicide Squad, not only to clear his name, but to remember his past. We pick up shortly after Ben has temporarily left the Suicide Squad and faced his demons.
Audition post
"I'm telling you dude, it's bullshit," said one of the six kids who combed the streets of a shoddy New York borough.
"You're dressed like a moron, you do all of these goofy poses, and for what? Some Karate Kid bullshit? Anybody here will tell you, real shit, that don't work in the streets."
"The shit I decide to do doesn't affect you. You need to worry about your own little get-rich-quick bullshit with Alex anyway. It's a wonder you both aren't dead yet."
Dressed from head to toe in a black karate uniform, the group-proclaimed "karate kid" grabbed the dangling sides of his belt and yanked them apart, tightening the knot between them. He absent-mindedly went about picking the lint off of his uniform as another kid in a hoodie, presumably "Alex," chirped from behind.
"Man, ya'll are bullshittin'. All this talk about throwin' hands and ain't none of you knuckled up yet. If you really a bunch of tough guys then both of you will quit bitchin' and settle it like men."
"I don't fight unless I have to. That's what I was taught. I'm just tryna get hom--"
Suddenly, the gi-wearing kid was on the sidewalk, disoriented and confused as he stared down groggily at the pavement. Standing over him was the argumentative friend from earlier, a kid with short dreads, a t shirt and a pair of baggy sweats. Most notable about him was the silver chain around his neck -- dog tags from his brother who'd been deployed a few years ago.
"Fuck that! I'm about this shit! You really think that kung fu bullshit is gonna save you, Rahzael? I'm your friend, I'm tryin' to help YOU. I don't have to do none of this bullshit, I could just let one of these killers out here catch you lackin'! You need to drop this childish bullshit and get yourself a gun so you can really be out here!"
The group crowded around with a plethora of 'yo yo yo!'s and other scattered sounds of protest. Alex held his arms out, holding back some of the kids and explaining to them that the two should be left to resolve their differences on their own. Rahzael, on the other hand, pushed himself up from the ground before he was greeted by a flurry of swings from his "friend," struggling to compose himself and staggering into the middle of the street. Before he knew it, he was on the ground and a much larger figure was standing in front of him, spreading his arms out. He recognized it instantly.
"That's enough," said the deep voice it belonged to.
"Ay Hong Kong Phooey, move the fuck out the way!"
"Nah nah, Alex. Hold up, I recognize this dude. This ain't one of the instructors, this is Mr. Miyagi himself."
Almost immediately, Alex riffed, "Oh shit, it's Black Dynamite!" The kids now gathered behind the bully, laughing and looking the larger man up and down. They weren't too much shorter than Ben, otherwise known the Bronze Tiger, who fearlessly stood face to face with the hoodlums without back up. His eyes narrowed for a moment as the main hoodlum began hurling insults and questions his way.
"You fuckin' scam artist! Where the fuck are your championships? If you're such a badass, why ain't you doin' that MMA shit on TV?"
"I've got a different kind of experience. The kind I don't care to talk about."
"Oh word? So that's it, huh? You just gon' backpedal like the big ass fraud you are. Ay, you know what? Ya'll right. Hitting Rahzael ain't gonna teach him nothin', but when we fuck up this clown we'll show him that all of that kung fu bullshit don't help when it comes down to it."
Alex stepped past the lead aggressor, accompanied by one of the quiet friends in the background. They briskly moved toward Ben, who reacted to their outward aggression as provocation and charged into the both of them. He drove one of those large feet into the side of the Alex's head, stepping off of it to slam the other into the side of his friend's and knock them both to the ground. He then descended swiftly, driving the point of his elbow into the bridge of the bully's nose, breaking it and sitting him down in the middle of the street. It was something straight out of a movie scene.
"What the fuck?!"
"Watch your mouth. I don't know where you're from, but when you're in front of my school? You're on my turf. Rahzael here is wearing my colors, and if I catch you giving him trouble again? There's only one color you'll see on your way to the hospital, and you'll see it half of it again on your way to jail. Got it?"
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever, man."
Ben didn't bother to press to the issue any further. A few of the hoods had run away in the midst of the action, leaving the bully to tend to his friends as they were just waking up. Ben did the same, throwing Rahzael's arm over his shoulders to help the kid to his feet as he walked off a pounding headache -- the worst of which was subsiding after the surprise fistfight his friends decided to spring on him.
"You might have a concussion. We need to get you to the--"
"No! No, my parents would kill me for chillin' with them. I just need to get some sleep, this isn't the first fight I've had to walk off."
"Fine, then 2 hours of extra warm ups tomorrow."
"What?! Why?!"
"You disobeyed your parents and put yourself in danger. If they can't punish you then I will. I want 200 push ups after class, minimum. And I will be watching to make sure you don't cut corners."
"Wait! Wait!"
"...What?"
"Is the hospital still an option?"
Ben stopped, looking down at the kid and then smiling.
"Good man."
