Sector 2814 On this side of Jupiter s a pod floats through space, faster than light it would travel until it reached Earth’s atmosphere once it burned entering the atmosphere it erupted into hundreds of smaller pods crashing all over the planet. Some crashing in the ocean, some deserts, some struck mountains and others struck major cities and rural areas. These pods were strong enough not to even be dented by the areas they crashed into. The pods opened up no air pressure was released upon them opening up. From out of the pods metal tendrils began grabbing whatever life forms were around. The lights on the pod changed from red to purple.

Black Canary: Dinah is working in her flowershop, when she hears a beep on what looks to be an answering machine in her shop. She has her assistant Angie take charge of the shop while she takes care of some deliveries she had forgotten. She then goes down the back hall to her secret room and starts listening to her police scanner and checking news reports. Hearing about an alien attack and warnings to stay clear, one of them being in Gotham. she starts taking off her work clothes. She puts on her earpiece and taps it. "Hey gang, you hear about these pods and the metal arms coming out of them? sounds like a bad b-movie. I've got the one in gotham, going into give it a closer look." she says while putting on her fishnets followed by the rest of her costume. Within moments a purple gleaming motorcycle is roaring across Gotham toward Robinson Park where the pod had landed after bouncing off a building.


Wonder Woman:It was just another day in Paradise, well, as close as Diana got these days. About fifteen minutes outside of Gateway was a state park; moderately wooded area with a small clearing where people held concerts and plays during the summer. She had been watching a re-enactment of the Three Thebian plays while enjoying a quiet dinner on her own. Diana was relatively annonymous in the crowd, indistinguishable from many of the other patrons of the arts who hadgathered. It wasn't until she heard a strange whistling noise, watching a streak across the dusk sky, that she started to differentiate herself from the crowd. The ground shook as whatever the falling object was crashed down about a quarter mile from the edge of the clearing. While most had the immediate reaction of heading to their cars to leave, Diana removed the simple wrap dress she had been wearing, abandoning the one woman picnic and taking to the air to investigate. It was then she heard Dinah's voice."I've got one too here in Gateway," she confirmed. "Or at least I think I do. Something fell from the sky; going to investigate."

Batman: -Two men stood at a standoff inside Gotham City’s courthouse.- “How did--?” -The caped crusader stood triumphantly with a raven shroud wrapped about his body. His limbs tucked nearly within as those white eyes leered intensively at Two-Face.- “I followed your trail, Harvey. Gotham City Mayor Elects’ were the first clue, then switching of two men. Adam Cloney and Bill Barclay. Adam Cloney is a man two-face killed two years into his criminal career. Bill Barclay was a man sent to jail for double homicide by Harvey Dent, two years before becoming what you are now. The only question remains… Why Harvey? Why bring up the past?” -Two-Face snarled and flipped his coin.- “Let chance decide-…” -Batman narrowed his eyes when suddenly an object smashed through the window and landed next to a couple of incapacitated henchmen wearing two-toned outfits. Batman’s eyes narrowed as he backed away, the opening of the pod revealed some organism within it. “Harvey! Get out of here!” -Batman shouted arming a metal symbol shaped in the form of a nocturnal creature, the detective hurled the offensive tool allowing it to slice through gravity to meet its end fate, the metal would reach the tendril and strike it with speeds of ninja technique reaching 90 miles per hour just before impact, if the tendril was slashed it would’ve prevented the disgusting creature from latching onto a helpless individual.-

Barry Allen: Ping ping ping ping pingping pingping pingping – A hundred a and 78 punches towards the metal tendrils at super speed in under a few seconds. But nothing he couldn’t break the metal. He tried to phase through it and was knocked back slamming into a light pole by a blast of light. He picked himself back up from the ground.” Yeah having a bit of
trouble with mine, I can’t put a dent in the thing, Any clue what these things are?” He ran in a circle around the pod as it lashed out grabbing his ankle picking him up off the ground. “Let me call you back Canary.”

Black Canary: She frowns hearing her teammates getting stuck with trouble of their own. apparently tons of these things were around. she taps her earpiece. "the news report says they were first spotted zooming past jupiter and were making impact before word could be sent out." she notices the blue glow. "Hrm, I see a blue glow about the one I'm near. about 20 yards away." she picks up a rock and throws it at the pod and riccoetes off with a sizzle. "Yeah, it's a force field. And I can't get closer without getting caught by the tendrils. It looks like I'm going to have to sing. signing off." she taps her earpiece and widens her stance as she takes a deep breath, letting loose a powerful screech of sonic sound at the pod.

Barry Allen: As the sonic siren's voice struck the forcefield it was absorbed." Assimilation Complete." The Tendrils around her began to lash out with her own attack.


Batman: -The eminence of a blue glow caused Batman to suspect something strange was about to happen. He observed the tendrils and the force field from a distance, his detective vision recording and scanning constantly for new information as it attempted to decipher the material of the pod as well the material of the tendrils and force field. He was certain it was alien in origin, but what purpose did it serve? The detective was helpless to action, but that would not stop his brain from observing and questioning everything objectively. He monitored the conversation over the Justice League, but he would not allow that to distract him from witnessing what was unfolding before him the eminence of a blue glow caused Batman to suspect something strange was about to happen. He observed the tendrils and the force field from a distance, his detective vision recording and scanning constantly for new information as it attempted to decipher the material of the pod as well the material of the tendrils and force field. He was certain it was alien in origin, but what purpose did it serve? The detective was helpless to action, but that would not stop his brain from observing and questioning everything objectively. Wonder Woman: She could hear Flash and Dinah conversing as she came upon the robotic creature. Her first reaction to the spider was one of confusion, it was unlike anything else she had ever seen before. Metal legs came out from the thing's sides, giving it a distinctly arachnid look. She tried to fight it as she would any other robotic creature, but quickly found that her own moves were being turned against her. As she broke free of one tendril around her ankle, a second would grab her wrist. She thought she could possibly get up high enough she would be out of the thing's reach, but was unsure how far the tendrils could reach.

Green Lantern: A bright flash of green light appeared over the Earth and as it faded away, the glowing figure of the Green Lantern of Space Sector 2814 appeared. *Alright. Make a quick stop at the Watchtower, check in, then head home home and get some sleep.* Phasing in through the command deck, Hal looked around at the civillians that were on duty. "Alight"You've got to be kidding..." he muttered to himself as he saw the bright flash of green light appeared over the Earth and as it faded away, the glowing figure of the Green Lantern of Space Sector 2814 appeared. *Alright. Make a quick stop at the Watchtower, check in, then head home home and get some sleep.* Phasing in through the command deck, Hal looked around at the civillians that were on duty. "Alight. Can I get a quick status update please?” Hal looked around while they all seemed to stare at him wide eyed, “….what…?” Finally, one of them had pulled themselves out of disbelief and pointed him towards the view screen. "You've got to be kidding..." he muttered to himself as he saw the news reports and the data that the Watchtower workers had gathered. *I’ve really had my fill of blockades for the month.* With his ring, Lantern created a Bluetooth headset construct and contacted the rest of the League, “Lantern here. I’m back, getting caught up with what’s going on and then I’ll be heading planet side in seconds.” *Ring, status.* -Lantern 2814 there is presently 2 hours left of charge and you have been awake and active for over 62 hours. Recommend immediate charging and a full 8
hours of rest before continuing any activity.*

Black Canary: The cry dies in her thraot as she sees it obsorbed by the forcefiled. "Assimilation complete?!" then cried out as her sonic blast was created by the pod and shot back at her, quick thinking let her cover her ears. but she was thrown across the field landing in a heap in the grass. she moaned and started to scramble on to her feet. "So that's what it feels like..." she taps her earpiece. "Canary to League, be careful of what you expose to these devices, they learn and they learn fast and seem to be able to mimic others. I hit it with a sonic blast and it just directed it back. I'm fine, but be careful." she stands up and gets into a defensive position. She starts to charge the pod, leaps into the air in a flying kick doing a canary cry at the pod in her lowest frequency hoping she will be countered again.


Wonder Woman: Diana was still trying to figure out the robot coming towards her. A tendril gripped her ankle and Diana kept climbing into the air. Another tendril tried to climb up her body, twisting and turning from her ankle to her calf to her thigh. She stopped, bringing her hands down and her legs up to grab at the tendrils and remove them from her body, spinning and trying to dislodge it, hopefully sending the arachnid like machine back down towards the earth. And should it succeed, into a crater.

Barry Allen: All of the Pods began to say Assimilation Complete at the same time, The one that was attacking Flash, had assimilated. Transforming into a robot while holding him up by the foot." Begin Assimilation." It was trying to force him to use his powers. By using Canary's call against him. He was blown forward." using this as a moment to vibrate and escape." Bad news guys, All of them took Canary's powers." Dodging the tendrils from the now humanesque shaped robots who were trying to recapture him while he was running.

Batman: -Batman watched as the robot before him began to unfold and study or analyze the life forms around it, upon realizing that neither Batman nor anyone present had any abilities the Robot would jet off through the window leaving the room. He tapped his Justice League communicator and listened to Lantern speak before turning his attention to the rest of the conversation of what was going on.- “Watchtower, teleport me to Black Canary.” -Batman pulled off his belt a R.E.C Gun and armed it before teleporting behind the Robot attacking Black Canary. Batman raised the R.E.C and fired two EMP bolts at the Robot attempting to shut it down, disable, or stun it.”

Barry Allen: The Watchtower's long ranges scanners didn't pick up the appearance of a larger ship entering Earth's space until it was visible through the windows. The robots froze in place for a moment as the ship became visible. The one that was shot with the EMP was shut off for good. It had no forcefield. A few moments later the others spoke." Assimilation canceled. Lesser Species begin Knowledge assimilation." The Robots began to move again heading towards locations of computers on the planet." Assimilation Begin." two large eyes on the ship in space began to glow making it oddly look like a skull with tentacles. Entering the Earth's atmosphere, anyone at any part of the western hemisphere could look up and see the massive ship.

[Wonder Woman]

Diana continued to battle the droid spider, unable to break through it's hard shell so she could give re-enforcements to her friends. "Gaea, what are these things?" she called into the com as her leg was wrapped and the warrior woman was tossed through the air. Her body crashed through several trees before she managed to correct herself, the toes of her boots digging into the ground. Shooting up into the air, the Amazon twisted, arching over where the spider like machination was. Her trajectory changed sharply and she shot downward at a steep angle. The wind whipped through her hair, howling in her ears as she made an attempt to tackle the thing into the ground. Should she impact with it, the force would easily be more than enough to crush the pair into the earth, creating a large crater.

[Black Canary]

As Black Canary leaped and cried her low frequency shriek at the pod which now looked like a humanoid robot as it shifted before her eyes, she was greated by it's own cry. The force of their sonic sound meeting keeping her suspended in air above the robot. Feeling the air in her lungs burn as she was almost out of breath, her eyes tearing up as she changed the pitch to a higher one the air wobbling wildy with the conflicting frequencies, when suddenly it ended and she dropped down on top of the robot with a grunt, she looked up at Batman and smirked. "Darn, I almost had it." she teased. She took his hand to help get up. "Thanks. I appreciate it." she frowned as she thought about the scenario. "I didn't know they could adapat and share so much so quickly. Makes me nervous that they can all copy a canary cry." she thought about it and bit her lip. "But that does mean they communicate some how... Batman, does the watchtower or the batcave have a way of finding how they are sending this data to each other? maybe we can jam it someho... wow... that's big..." she said as she caught a glimpse of the massive ship hanging in the air above them all.

There had been one that had been monitoring the situation as it deteriorated, earths mightiest hero’s had been summoned. From what he had been able to surmise, these beings had begun an invasion of a sorts. In all honesty, He wasn’t sure if he should have gotten involved at all. The fallen machine at his back was evidence enough of that. How had that mighty machine been vanquished with little damage to Middletown? The control module at the center of the machines core. Phasing it out with him was the solution that he had come up with, and the object had been tossed to the side. Turning his head to regard the skies in the distance, it seemed as though there were a good deal of minds screaming out in terror in the distance. That made him wonder. Turning his head to the distance, he nodded his head and then looked towards another officer, a lieutenant that had been just arriving on the scene, looking nearly petrified in fear. Thankfully enough, he had maintained his guise of Detective John Jones during this endeavor “Secure the area. The National Guard or the Armed forces will be arriving shortly. See to it that they have our cooperation. I need to look into something.” He commanded as he turned and walked down a alleyway, making himself transparent in the process, protecting his identity in the process as he took to the skies, heading in the direction of this great skull coming through earths atmosphere.

[Batman]

-Batman’s jaw stiffened and his nostril curled into a snarled expression upon watching the machine shut down.- “Don’t take it personally, you couldn’t have known that they could mimic. I don’t know…and somehow, I doubt I will have time to investigate further into this machine, but I’ll try.” -Batman’s gaze lifted upon hearing of a large space ship approaching the planet.- “I have a feeling whoever is behind this will soon make an appearance. They seem more interested in your powers than anything else. I need to head to the Batcave and see what comes up with this. In the meantime, don’t get yourselves killed.” Batman squeezed the solid metal handle of the REC Gun before offering it to Dinah. “They are vulnerable to Electronic pulses, for now. Flash could try to stir up enough friction to release an electronic pulse capable of destroying one of these. He’ll need to build up approximately 10,000 volts. Keep in touch.” -Batman stated firmly before he was teleported into the isolation chamber within a bat bunker.

He would appear nearby a batpod with a rear mount for another REC gun, allowing his hand to grip the handle he would move it to his work bench before using his toolbox to open the machine. He snapped open a panel to examine its circuitry and systems to see what he would find.

The Ship came into vision high above the world. The drones began to assimilate knowledge at a high rate This world had it's collective knowledge all in one localized place. "Signal of knowledge, locate. Known as Radio Signal 802.11 Begin assimilation of all knowledge on Planet Earth." Soon all of the drones began to use this to gather all of the collective knowledge. Onboard the ship red optics open, glancing around detaching connections from it's head as it stands up and moves towards another part of the ship. " Assimilation complete, Knowledge collected, Begin Phase two. Extraction." The Pods were launched from the ship towards the planet around specific cities. The cities considered the greatest planet.

Green Lantern: Reaching the outter hull of the ship, Hal's eyes narrowed. Lantern, reccommend immediate retreat and regroup. You are not. Shut up. His ring started to glow brighter
while he planted his feet against the hull, creating a large, shoulder held rail gun construct. Energy swirled around the barrel as he focused his will and poured it into the construct before
unleashing a focused beam of energy that punched through the hull with enough force to punch a human sized hole through Mount Everest. The Lantern held it for a second or two
longer, just to be sure that he got through before proceeding inside. The sudden exposure to the vaccum of space cause a powerful suction inside the ship, but Hal, with his aura
protecting him, shot forward at speed and then hurried through and, with his ring, formed a sword to cut out a piece of the floor large enough to fix the hole and hurled it backwards, using
a beam of energy to seal it shut. <Well.. inside. Now to find the captain of the ship.>

Begin Extraction.” The words came out of the drones that were shut off on Earth. Flash could see what appeared to be a meteor shower he raised a brow and could see
them scatter around far and wide. Flash shook his head he didn’t think that would be good for the planet and no one else could get around the planet like he could he began to run. “
Come on Hal..” – In the Ship tendrils bursted from the floor in an attempt to grab the lantern.<Intruder Alert. Begin Assimilation> . The Tendrils had no way of knowing what Hal was, they
had no eyes. No way of knowing what he could do yet.

Green Lantern: Hal felt something grab his foot and, instead of reacting, he had to look down. "What th !" and then he felt his body suddenly yanked down and smacking against the
floor. The pause let the tendrals start to wrap around his body. "Damn!" he shouted, struggling for a few moments. "Let. Me. Go!" and through the top from around his head and down
at his feet, beams of green light spread out before an omnidirectional field of energy erupted out, destroying the tendrals. Hal didn't pause again, however, and immediately started to fly
down the hall.

Barry Allen: "Green Lantern Energy Detected..Recaliburating." The Tentrils would would erupt from the walls with a yellow glow now attempting to captured the lantern again, this time
many more tendrils would come, enough to completely cover his body. IF this worked the Drones would come to collect him and bring him to the main collection chamber


Green Lantern: When the first yellow tendral shot past his face, Hal's eyes went wide, "Oh you'vegottabefuckin' ki-AH!" the pointed end of one drove right into the small of his back and
forced him down hard to the ground. Pushing off, he tried to fly away but two wrapped around both of his legs and slammed him up against the ceiling. His aura held up, but the force
made it hard to keep the feeling away. More and more wrapped around him until he was finally caught in a cocoon of them and dropped roughly to the ground to be taken away.

Barry Allen: Barry rushed towards the pods striking Tokyo trying to disable them as soon as they hit the ground, vibrating his hand so quick that he phased through the metal,
damaging the equipment in seconds, then rusing towards the next, and the next and the next 3 seconds wasted. Barry Didn't know if These were bombs or what, but he knew he was
draggin behind. - On the ship the tendrils and drones drug the lantern into the man chamber where a collection of bottled cities were. A head with tendrils attached to it was standing in a
metal cocoon. The eyes of the green skinned alien looked to the Lantern." A Green Lantern..Not a rare specimen by any standards of the word. 3600 of you exist in the universe. I have
killed 267. And Have Collected none.." The pod opens and Brainiac removes himself from it the tendrils detatching themselves from his head." A human Green Lantern...This is
something new..Interesting."

Green Lantern: <This... is not what I had planned. Well... at least I can be saved from the 'Bring me to your leader' line...> he thought to himself. When he was stood up, his
eyebrows raised at the sight before him, "Well that's not creepy." The Lantern struggled a bit more against the tendrals, but gave it up as he listened to the being before him speak but
when he finished, Hal was left speechless for a moment. <Two...hundred... and sixty seven.... Lanterns... > "What the hell are you?" Green Lantern said finally through clenched teeth,
the flames of anger lit within.

Erzebeth: Emily happened to be walking out of the Tokyo airport with her bags in one hand. She had unexpectedly been called by the CEO of some outlandish styling company on
Thursday. That call ended with her having to set-up another runway show. "Hai Yamashita-san. Ima kimashita." Her sensitive ears suddenly felt a strange hum causing her to look up at
the sky. Something was falling from the sky at an alarming rate. "Sumimasen. Ima nani ka shinakuchaikemasen..." With that Looker ran off with an arm-full of bags looking for a quick
spot to change. UFO's weren't her usual calling, but she would be damned if the debree fell on one of her Tokyo line stores.

Barry Allen: Barry breaking the pods one at a time, He was to slow, He needed to go faster. Running a circle around the city to try to build up momentum vibrating his hand at the
same time which made this even more difficult. – On the ship The tendril;s tightened.” A Seeker of knowledge. I will indulge this before you are digitized.” He stepped closer and he
said” I was Vril Drox a Coluan Scientist. My Search for knowledge led me to change my organic weak body into this..I am Brainiac.” Images of these events would flash through the
lanterns head.” I seek to assimilate all knowledge in the universe, until I am evolved into perfection. Around you are all that are left of the planets I have assimilated…Your planet is
nothing to me, It’s knowledge has already been assimilated…Though your higher evolved beings interest me. Which part of this planet do you come from..I will be sure to add it to my
collection.“ – Barry Hadn’t noticed looker as he ran trying to stop the pods before they did what ever
Barry Allen: they were suppose to be doing.


Green Lantern: "Hn!' he grunted, teeth clenching tighter and then the images hit directly into his mind. <Damn... some kind of telepathy. Gotta... shield from that first....> His brow
furrowed, fingers clenching tight into fists as he focused his will into his ring and created mental shields inside of his mind. Hal didn't know what kind of power this thing in front of him
had when it came to telepathy, so it might not be enough at the moment, but anything would give him some kind of help. "You.... you want Earth Brainiac..." the Lantern muttered.
<C'mon Hal. You're tired... sore... been through the ringer already. Focus... Get your act together...> "You.. you won't have it. No... Damn.. " his eyes narrowed and his beams of green
light shot out from his body, "WAY!" and once again an omni-direction field of energy shot out from his body. As the light began to fade, Hal hovered above the ground for a moment, his
aura burning, before he lifted his right arm up and fired a blast of energy that -
Green Lantern: would engulf Brainiac's entire body.

Barry Allen: “Interesting.” Brainiac took the attack, “Recalibrating” The energy struck him with enough concusive force to knock him back but with changing up his force fields quick
enough it did very little damage.” You mud ball is worth nothing to me, but I have accumulated it’s knowledge It has no need to exist. “ He scanned the lantern in less than a second.”
Energy output is 63.453% Higher than before. “ He turned his back to the lantern and moved back to his Cocoon. “ a sixteenth of my pods are none responsive . Your allies seem to be
slowing down my progress..This will be corrected.”


Green Lantern: "Oh no, you bastard!" Hal shouted, flying forward and creating a large battering ram around his entire body, the wake of the construct itself giving an afterburner wake as
the Lantern dashed, aiming to collide right into Brainiac and slam him up against wall of his ship. After the collision, the construct fade away with the Lantern's left hand pressed up
against the alien's chest while reering back his right hand while a field of green energy surrounded his hand and arcs of "electricity" shot out from it to strike the floor, walls and ceiling,
"You've got me to worry about!" and he struck out with a hard straight punch to launched Brainaic out of his ship through the wall and into space.
Erzebeth: Looker had changed into her normal red-corset and spandex bottoms just before the crash through her off balance. "Son of a witch..." The female flew into the air for a better
look at the damage. "Please be alive..." She raced towards the crash site to search for survivors. "Hello! Can anyone hear me? I'm here to help!" Looker could hear the beating hearts of
the few mortals who still lurked in the ruined airport. "Don't make a move!" Hopefully the pod was empty otherwise the situation could get even worse.

Barry Allen: Barry rushed towards the newest pod which was the last in this city He saw the crash and ran towards it as quickly as he could getting there, as the people were being
blown away by the landing of the pod, he rushed almost as if everyone stopped moving entirely, he grabbed them out of the air, setting them down away from it, not even the blur could
be seen until he stopped at the pod, his hand phasing through the metal. This pod was different than the others, when Flash stuck his hand in it a bright blue light shot from it,
knocking him back towards Looker. – On the Ship Brainiac attempted to recalibrate to match the Lanterns attacks. He was knocked back against the wall, then punched.. his face
collided with the wal leaving a dent, and the sound of metal against metal would be heard. He turned back to look at Lantern, the green flesh would tear slightly showing bloody metal
“muscle” underneath .” Attack strategy studied, Recalibrating fighting method. “ Brainiac Super speed rushed
Barry Allen: Brainiac Super speed rushed Lantern, attempting to slam his fist into the Lantern’s Stomach. Enough strength behind it to hurt Superman or Shatter a forcefield.

Erzebeth: Looker sensed a presence in front of her and rushed to catch Flash's flying body. "What the Hell?" She could hear his heart beating at an abnormal pace. Such a pace would
strain any normal human's body...or worse. "Poor thing..." What had the man been doing around the pod? Had he been there before it landed? "Can you hear me? Are you hurt?" Her
fingers tapped at his chest hoping that she wasn't the only one who could save these people in danger. Although Looker wasn't one for teamwork she would need someone who dealt
with UFO's more than her. "Look, I don't know who you are or what you're doing here but there are people trapped here...and there's something odd about that pod...Either you tell me
what you're doing or I'll send you flying to Kyoto...and not on a plane..."
Green Lantern: The punch sent Hal reeling back, flying and colliding up against the ceiling, cracking it, and then falling down to the ground. "Uhn... C'mon..." Lifting his head up,
Lantern clenched his right hand tightly and his ring shined brightly. <You're going through that damn wall...> Across the entirety of the room, a large brick wall construct formed and
streatched from one end to the other. <Gotta get him out of here. Those damn tendrals can come back anytime> he thought as he pushed off against the ground. His eyes were fixated
on Brainaic as he flew forward, the wall moving as well to hopefully pin the alien against the side of his ship where Hal would hold it and then shoot forward at 80% of light speed. The
wake along would tear up the area behind him while his aura altered into the look of flames and burned bright. If he hit, Lantern would wrap himself in a suit of medieval armor, his arms
wrapping around Brainiac to use his body as a further shield against re-entry as he flew -
Green Lantern: them both back to Earth.

Barry Allen: He was caught, he shook his head and he said” I’m the Flash, You know Scarlet Speedster..Fastest Man Alive? And that thing is an alien something or other bent on

Green Lantern: Hal lifted his head up, fighting to keep his eyes open. He was tired, his ring was warning him that he needed to retreat immediately but he couldn't. Something told
him to look around and surrounding himself and Brainiac were people... just a bunch of people... They couldn't fight this back. They couldn't make a stand against something that was

of swirling energy. The green light would be almost blinding to any human being that watched as Green Lantern continued to pour his willpower into this attack, "Green Lantern's Light!!!"
And then the sphere erupted out, the ensuing explosion filling the area between the two barriers and hiding both of those trapped behind the outter one from sight.

body was burned away into nothing, only a metallic husk remained still smoking after the attack. In this moment all of the pods around the planet self destructed and atomized. Barry
was blown backwards flipping, as silver metal shards filled the air. Barry shook his head, it appeared that he just stood there and took the blast, really he had used his speed to block
the shrapnel from hitting his new friend. His back was cut to pieces as the metal sliced him.

nails into her thigh. That sweet redness was calling more and more to her. It was only a matter of time before she did something stupid. Incredibly stupid like the things she did in bars,
cars, trains, planes, and automobiles

Barry Allen: “It’s what I do.”He Vibrated his body so that the shrapnel would fall out of him. But that was all he could do at the moment. He crawled over to a pillar, and leaned against

fact she was a vampire.

hair. "You should have just kept quiet and been just another pretty face..."
Barry Allen: "Not my style, Even if you can heal, what kindof hero would I be if I just let you take shrapnel from an alien device..I'll heal soon enough.." His breathign increased slightly." Perks of being a
Speedster I heal fast." He leaned against the piller and pressed his cowl." GL It's flash, I dismantled alot of the pods... The last one exploded on me..I'm cut pretty bad, I can't even move right now...Did you
take care of the mother Ship?" He slowly stood up..a trail of blood going up where his back had been pressed. He glanced over to her and he said" So I take it I'm not getting a name from the pretty girl who
helped save a bunch of people here? I'm with the Justice League, we could probably use someone like you."


Erzebeth: "Key-word being 'use'...Honey...I don't get used...I use people..." Emily walked over to his side. He had called her pretty and that was enough to bring her out of her shell. "So you think I'm pretty
now? Just wait...Let me see those wounds..." Her tongue ran over her lower-lip in a single stroke. Looker knew she could heal the man on spot. It would just take him a few moments to get comfortable with
it. If she was lucky her more hypnotic abilities could help get rid of those memories without a problem.
Barry Allen: "Hmm..Alright." He stopped placing his right hand on the wall and forcing himself to turn around and he said" So you can change into a bat, and you heal fast and can heal other people.." He
looked over his shoulder towards her he raised a brow and he said" Alright so I just stand here right?"

Erzebeth: "Yeah...that's it..." Her eyes rolled. "This might feel...strange but I'm sure you'll get used to it..." She pressed a hand against the small of Flash's back to stabilize herself. "Easy now..." The tip
of her tongue reached out to graze the wound softly. Her saliva was indeed a natural coagulant. "Bah...that's really different..." Looker watched as the wound began to heal. "It's like Red Bull...What the
Hell?"
Barry Allen: He looked as she licked his back and he froze, not really processing this <Did She just...> He looked back and he said" Did you just lick my wound?" He blinked and he said" Um Ok..uh..."
He placed his hand on the back of his head.." Wait , You changed into a Bat, You heal fast, and you just licked my wound....Are you a uh Vampire??!?!" He looked back forward. and he said" Don't get
mad I'm not freaked out I've just never met a vampire before.." He was a little freaked out.


Erzebeth: Emily cringed at the sound of that word. "Don't call me that...I-I'm just...Look...You can call me Looker..." She pulled away out of embarrassment. Stupid of her to be so forward, but the payment
was definitely needed to get rid of the jet-lag. Now that he mentioned it, he was fast physically but way slower at formulating that possible. "You can't tell anyone...and I mean it...If you do I'll...I'll..." Flash
was mortal so she couldn't really threaten his short-lived life. "I won't invite you to one of my runway shows..."

Barry Allen: He laughed."A-alright Looker, I won't tell anyone don't worry. Superhero code and all we don't give out secrets about each other." He smiled to her as friendly as he was before he found out
she was a vampire. He placed a hand on her shoulder and he said" Your secret's safe with me." He stepped forward flexing his back to make sure it wasn't stiff. He glanced to her and he said" No reason
to be embarrassed. Sorry if I made thing awkward by freaking out about it."


Erzebeth: Her arms folded over her chest. On the outside Emily was incredibly cold and reluctant, but on the inside she was warmed by his welcoming touch. "It's not much of a secret when you've got
teeth like mine..." A quick sigh made the problem obvious. She was upset by her need to drink and off of others. It was horrible going to bed with a live body then waking up in the morning with a lifeless
corpse next to her. It wasn't always on purpose, but accidents happened. "Believe me...I'm used to awkward...An ex-model not showing up on camera film? Yeah explain that to Vera Wang..."

Barry Allen: He thought for a second and he smiled nd he said" Well If you wouldn't have been here I would have died when the thing exploded. You saved my life, so.." He handed her a small
communicator and he said" You can contact me if you need me..or If you ever just want to talk. All you have to do is press the button to activate it and call me... That being said Do you need a lift before I
head back to Central City?"

Erzebeth: "I'm...actually headed for a hotel...Looker Couture is having a runway show tomorrow-er..." Emily looked down at her watch still confused about the time-change. "...Tonight." Her head hung in
shame. Yamashita was going to tear her to shreds if she didn't have an excuse ready. "I can fly from here...but...I could use your help tonight...Depending on whether or not you'd like to be surrounded by
gorgeous models from all over Japan..."


Barry Allen: He blinks and he said"My Help, Well I'm certain I can help you with whatever you need." Red Heads...They were his curse. Superman had Kryptonite, Hal had the color yellow and Barry had
Red heads. He nodded and he said" Sure I'll be here, unless the League needs me but since we just had an alien invasion and all...I think I'll get a break...So what time should I meet you?"

Green Lantern: -Meanwhile- As the light faded away and the constructs disappeared, Green Lantern stood alone amongst the onlookers that had watched him stop the menace Brainiac. His chest heaved as he lungs fought to suck in oxygen while the glow of his aura that he was known for had completely disappeared. "I... heh.. I did it... heh... " and then he dropped forward to his knees, just catching himself with his right hand. And for the first time to the denizens of Earth and anyone save those he had fought out in space that could somehow manage it, bore witness to the sight of a Green Lantern injured. The desperate move to turn off the safety protocols for more power had placed even more strain on the inner barrier with Hal, having already been exhausted coming into the battle, acting as a weakening factor for its strength. The upper left chest and thighs were badly torn and hanging, the left arm elbow were was split up and down while the right arm hung down along the ground at his wrist.

Wonder Woman: The distress call flashed on the Watchtower's control panel, a siren wail matching the flashing light to attract the attention of League members on duty. The signal went out across the active members. Having seen the probe she was battling seemingly fall dead, the Amazon's attention was immediately on the distress call. "Wonder Woman copy," she said, leaving ARGUS to clean the mess up. She didn't trust them, but the devil you know against the devil you don't. Diana was on the call quickly, ready to assess the severity before it became obvious assessment was not required. It was a man down call. Her martial training instantly enacted, stealing herself to the possibility that she would arrive to a corpse of a valued friend. It would not be the first time the Amazon would greet the falling of a comrade in battle, but for some unknown reason it felt different, more urgent. She arrived in Metropolis, following the small beacon on a screen even though as her form came into view over the city she would find the gadget redundant. The green light which had been at the centre of the field of destruction faded, Diana's form going into a sharp dive. She slowed her decent, not wishing to shock the mortals, or her comrade. Her red boots touched down softly, barely even disturbing the dust as she sunk to her knees at her companion's side. She was wordles, a hand gently pressing, supporting, against his chest, her other arm draping his should. "You did," she confirmed, forcing a smile for his benefit. The crowd remained at a stunned distance, though cell phone cameras were clicking and images of the event were already flooding the Internet, but you would never suspect that they were in the midst of a crowd. Diana's voice, her temperament, all spoke to an intimate situation, no hush or worry implied in tone or action, merely a caution to be quick.

Green Lantern: Hal kept trying to focus his mind to call on any last bit of power that he could muster, but he just wasn't able to. <Took everything I had to do that... how in the heck am I supposed to get out of here. Can't stay in Metropolis like this...> Thankfully, he ended up not having to figure anything out as he felt the familiar touch and heard the voice of Diana as she knelt down beside him. Lifting up his head, Hal's eyes, white, met her's, "I don't... I can't move... I don't have anything left...eh heh.." he laughed a bit, forcing a smirk onto his face as his eyes remained on her's. The corners of his eyes caught the sight of the camera's flashing as they tried to get footage and pictures of the aftermath, but personally Hal didn't want the spotlight right now. Didn't even want a beer. He justed wanted to sleep.


Wonder Woman: "I've got you," she said softly, holding his shoulder and gently lifting him into an upright posture. She did this for two reasons, first to balance his weight when they weren't far off the ground, second for the sake of the lime light, so the people could see their Hero climb back to his feet, even if it was only under Diana's power. As a student of classical literature and theories, she was well versed in the history of Caesers and others, knowing that the only thing better than a Hero was a Hero who rises from his own ashes. The crowd would erupt into cheers, calling Lantern's name as their savior. Her hand held under his arm on one side, his chest on the other, neither infantalizing him by carruing him, nor seeming to intimate. "We'll get you patched up," she whispered to him. "I've got you." Her words repeated as she took him to the Watch Tower, where she would willingly hand him over to the trustworthy care of the civilian medical staff and advanced technology, never straying too far, however, brushing aside the offering of food and her own medical care, waiting for any word on Jordan.
