Villainess: The cherub gasped as his vision cleared, finding himself on top of a sky scraper surrounded by lit candles. "Wh-where am I? What am I doing here?" finding himself in the middle of a modern city.
A cool panther like voice spoke out from the shadows "You are in Jump City my little friend. I want to show you something..." The woman stepped into the ring of candles that lit the summoning circle that called the cherub to her. Her purple hair looking wild in the wind buffeting the top of the building.
"Witch!" spat the cherub. "How dare you call me as if I was yours! Once my Goddess hears of this, she will make you pay for this!"
The witch rolled her eyes. "You are nearly as whiny as an Amazon. Please spare me the theatrics. I need you to give Aphrodite a message for me."
The cherub frowned. "I will do no such thing. You and your ploys are not welcomed in Olympus." (c) Villainess: Circe lifted her head up frustrated. "Don't you think I know that? Why do you think I wished to talk to a servant of the Goddess? No one else will hear from me! I just want you to tell her that I think it is awful with how she squanders her power."
The cherub did a flying lunge at Circe bouncing off a purple sphere of force she put around herself. "Blasphamy! How dare you say such things of the Goddess!"
The witch smirked. "It isn't blasphamy if it is true." she snapped her fingers and a large sphere of crystal appeared between them, images of the world flashed across it. Showing wars, fighting, gangs, villians and heroes locked in never ending battles." The cherub looked up confused.
"Aphrodite has a power that is greater than all my magic. Nothing can ever truely defeat love. It can win all. But look at this... look how bad of shape the world is in. Conflict after conflict." (c) Villainess: The cherub looked supisciously at the witch. "You won't fool me witch! You thrive for conflict, you live for it! I know your tricks."
The witch sighed. "Perhaps it is true, I do love conflict. But I have been slowly learning my lesson, this..." she gestured at the sphere dismisivly "this makes even me disgusted." the crystal ball showed images after images of faces in pain, faces full of agony.
The cherub tried to turn his head away, clutching at his heart, being one tied so close to love, the images felt like knives to him. "Stop it! Just stop it! Man has to make his own choices, to accept love or not!"
The witch leaned over and touched the cherub's shoulder, showing him care and concern. "That is true, but you and your goddess can start infatuation and encourage love. And so can I... let me show you what I have learned." she purred. (c)
Villainess: Circe smiled and looked up at the cherub that followed her. "See isn't this better?" she caressed a man's chin and slight charge of purple electricity jumped into him;he got weak in the knees, his iris flashed purple. "Follow me, help share the love." the man nodded with a dope grin and caressed a young woman near him a glow of purple spreading to her. The young woman blushed, her iris' turning purple and seemed to swoon. She gripped the hand of her friend next to her and he smiled, they started to kiss. soon everyone was caressing and touching, love passing like a contagion. "Love will conquer all." she grins.
Green Lantern: *I'm late!* he repeated over and over in his head as he almost threw himself out of the cockpit of the aircraft and ran for his forms. Quickly he signed them and dropped his flight gear right there in front of Tom, "Sorry man but I'm late! Gotta go. Right now!" and he quickly turned on his heel and started running for the main building. *Delay after delay. Late taking off late landing... God she's gonna killlll me.* Hitting the locker room doors with his shoulder, Hal made his way quickly for his locker, unzipped his flight suit, and pulled on his jeans, t-shirt, and his dad's jacket. *Alright... too late to ride so...* slipping on his Power Ring, Hal quickly shot up into the air, surrounding his body with a field that hid it from sight and detection while simulataniously phasing through the ceiling. He darted for home, arriving in a few seconds and quickly began throwing his clothes off about his room, green construct hands grabbing shampoo, shaving cream, body wash, and turning-
Green Lantern: on the shower. *Don't look at the time don't look at the time. Just get ready.* Hopping into the shower, Hal started to bath and cleaned with a purpose, as it were, while a pair of construct hands grabbed his tooth brush and pasted and started brushing his teeth. He was out of the shower the moment he felt confident that he was clean enough for this, which coincidently meant he spent a lot more time than he should have or needed to, and standing in front of the mirror, shaving carefully. *Easy does it... don't start cutting yourself and show up with little razor cut patches on. THAT's romantic...* Next, he moved onto his hair which too considerably less time than everything else before he had it just where he wanted it and a little bit of gel to hold it in place. Steping back into his living room, Hal checked the presents he'd bought over once more just to be sure he had everything. "Alright we're OH! Wew...Glad I was thinking.." A thin beam of energy surrounded his body and his-
Green Lantern: uniform was quickly donned. Pointing his Ring at the presents, another beam shot out and surrounded them, absorbing the presents into the ring before he was off again, phasing through the ceiling of his apartment building and darting for the Embassy. *I know it. I'm late. She's been waiting there and I'm late.* A bright beam of green light was left in his wake as he bolted through the sky at Mach 10 speeds. The moment he was above the embassy, he droped down, landing at the front door and knocking.
Wonder Woman: It was supposed to be a special night; Dinah and even her mother had told her about the pagan holiday turned Catholic and Commercial sell out regarding love, chocolate, flowers and greeting cards. For the occasion Diana had bought a new dress, dark blue and made out of a soft, slightly shimmery fabric; it resembled the styles of the Amazons in cut and fit. Her lasso, which she was never without, made a belt, tying the fabric to her body. Her hair was coiled, curled and coiffed, some pinned up on her head, other tendrils curling down her neck. Her jewellery was minimal, but she figured if she was going out as Diana, as herself, she would represent herself; silver diadem on her forehead with a red gem in the centre and a simple silver chain with a bronze "coin" at her throat. It was her Mother's, and Diana didn't know but it was the image on the coin's face on one side was Ares, the other Hippolyta. -c-
Wonder Woman: Diana let out a soft sigh, her finger circling the base of her wine glass before taking the slender glass stem between her index finger and thumb, twisting it a little. She had her cheek resting in her left hand and a faint look of boredom on her face. Her cell phone was sitting face up on the table, just in case he was late because of "official business," Diana had no intention of missing the fun, but alas, no phone call from the Watch Tower inviting Diana to work off some stress with a round or two of beat the bad guy. And no response from the text she sent that she would meet him there. "Is that?" "I know!" The voices were starting to chatter around her. "Who is she waiting for?" "Who cares, she's been here for almost an hour," another voice came. "What kind of idiot stands up Wonder Woman?" Diana tried not to let the echoing voices both her, looking straight forward out the window as she brought her wine glass up and sipping the sweet red liquid. -c-
Wonder Woman: She set the glass down and her blue eyes went down with it. Where are you? she thought to herself, somewhat longing for her Mother's connection with her "mate," at least if she so much as thought of him he knew and had the power and authority to simply appear as he wished. "More wine?" a gentle, slightly frightened waiter asked, coming to check on Diana's empty glass. "Please," she offered him a smile that was tinged with just a little disappointment. "I'm no expert on women," the man said, as a way of saying something without saying it as he poured her another glass. "But anyone who stood you up is a fool." "I'm sure he has a good reason," she said, as much for the waiter as for herself. *** At the Embassy *** Gina, one of the interns who Diana had taken on answered the door. "Hello?" she said, blinking at the man standing at the door, her head tilted to the side. "Can I help you?" -e-
Villainess: The cherub frowned and circe and stammered. "y-you can't just make anyone fall in love with another... that is just lust!"
The witch shrugged. "Love has to start somewhere doesn't it?" she smirked. "Besides... how can you say 'no', when they all look so happy?"
The cherub struggled and sighed. "Let me show you how to do this right..." he looked about and caressed a woman's cheek and whispered in her ear. He then looked at a man and flew over and whispered in his ear. neither noticed the cherub and both were soon in each other's arms. "See? she is a good match for him. they both are busy work aholics with a sweet spot for theatre." he said proudly.
The witch just grinned as the cherub started to play along. while more and more spread the catching affection about her. she caressed a cheek of a police officer who was gettin upset. he didn't seem to mind when he turned into a large bear and nuzzled the goddess' hand. They marched slowly down main street in Jump City. (d)
Green Lantern: Hal waited, praying that he wasn't late. That everything would be okay and as the door opened up he swelled up a bit... and then immediately deflated. "Gina. It's me? You know? Green Lantern? Is Di...wait... if you're answering then..." ***Back in Hal's apartment*** His jeans lay across the kitchen counter, his cell phone sticking a bit out of his pocket with a message flashing atop the screen: Left early. I did not wish to be drawn into another meeting with the Ambassador of France. - From: Diana ***Embassy*** "Gottago!" he shouted and took off once more into the air. He was breaking the sound barrier a second after he was above the embassy's rooftop, darting straight for the resturant. Phasing through the walls he was skidding across the floor in front of the table that Diana sat at, "I'm late!' His eyes, white due to the domino mask, fell onto her as she sat at the table. Almost instantly his heart immediately began to race and while his stomach wrenched itself into a knot for-
Green Lantern: being late while his eyes went a bit wide. "My god..." he said softly, "...only gods could've made you..." She was simply... astonishing. She was breath taking every moment of the day but... tonight... All the eyes that he was attracted went disregarded as he continued to gaze at her, managing to close his mouth which had fallen a bit open, but he still remained immobile as this very moment was burned into his mind. Finally he manged to shake his head a bit and bring himself back to reality. "I should uh... change..." Hal muttered and his Ring began to glow, altering his uniform into a black tuxedo with a green, three button vest, black shirt, and white gloves. The green domino mask remained over his eyes as well, white eye pieces intact as he walked over to Diana's side and dropped down to a knee. "I'm so sorry I'm late," he said, the whites over his eyes disappearing for a moment so she could see them clearly while his Power Ring emitted another glow and their minds linked up,-
Green Lantern: couldn't get off the ground. Plane broke. Then I had to sit while they changed my flight plan. Airspace was a nightmare. And I just realized I left my phone at home.-e-
Wonder Woman: There was a commotion behind her, and Diana turned around just in time to have Hal fall on top of her. "Lantern," she said with a chuckle. "When you said you wanted me to fall for you, this was not what I intended," she caught herself and him before actually impacting the ground, her own body taking most of his weight so as to not destroy the chair or table setting. As he spoke, she flushed just a little, looking down. There was a strange moment of quiet between the two of them as he said nothing, she said nothing, there was only silence and an agape mouth on the part of her date."No one's quite sure about that one," she said. "But I suppose you might be at least half correct," she teased him and watched as he dropped his knee. "I knew you had a good reason," she whispered and offered him his glass of wine. -e-
Villainess: she smirked as she looked about at the love spreading about her and caressed the cherub's cheek. "Nicely done, much better than I can do. Let's spread the love a little... Let's go to Gateway City." she grinned. She grabbed the cherub's little hand and bolt of purple lightening wisked them away. The crowd of lovers and a bear caressing and kissing their way into the hearts of those about them. Lightening of a purple hue flickers in Gateway City. The cherub flies into the street from the alley he was in and started pairing up people on the street. The witch just grinned and soon found herself attracting a crowd of men. She grins and caresses their cheeks, kissing a couple. the men's iris' turn purple as a glow transfers to them, the soon start to spread out, sharing their new love with others. (d)
Green Lantern: He nodded to her, squeezing her hand with his own before he slowly rose to his feet, but paused long enough to give her a gentle kiss before stepping over to his seat and taking it. "OH!" his ring began to glow and slowly the presents that he had gotten for her for Valentine's Day appeared, hovering on a little platter so that it wouldn't take up space on the table. On it rested a heart shaped box of chocolates, bought from Germany, a bouquet of roses that were a mix of white and red, a few valentine's day packages of coffee, and a card. "Have you figured out what you wanted yet? Never been to a quality Italian place like this before."
Ares: A dark blue armored figure sat on the center throne of the Trininty where but two had once stood atop Mount Olympus. His clawed gauntlet clenched tightly around the end of the hard armrest. Blood red eyes darkened for a moment and then began to glow and emit a chaotic red energy. "Aphrodiiiteeeee!!!" came the bellowing voice of the God of Conflict and Lord Olympus as he sensed the change upon the world below. "Calm yourself, brother, " came another voice, that of Athena herself, Goddess of Wisdom and Lady of Olympus beside her brother. Slowly making her way from behind her own throne, she walked with a confident grace, " What seems to trouble you now?" "Surely even you sense it? The change below..." "Of course but... are you quite certain that it is our dear sister who commits such acts. She might be foolish at some points... but even she would not be so careless acts as what now occurs below. Watch..."-e-
Wonder Woman: "I believe they have a special on "romantic" foods," she said with a smile. "Oysters among them, apparently," she smiled shyly. "But I was thinking the pasta al ragu di cinghiale... uh, the wild boar and pasta," she said with a smile, her accent as she spoke Italian nearly perfect. She had an incredible vocabulary in several languages, but where the ancient Greek dialect spoken on Themyscira was so close to the Latin that Italian grew from, she was able to adopt their accent quite well. Her ears perked up, there was something going on outside. She shook her head and tried to focus on Hal. "Your tux looks nice," she smiled, setting down her menu; she had already had more than enough time to look it over. -e-
Villainess: Circe smiled as more and more couples were formed and the group of men had already doubled the flock of love and angst riddled people. she smirked seeing some of the partners being ignored by their partners pleading for them to stop. the cherub wasn't pleased by that and was trying to fix things. "I'm sorry, I'm just not as good at this as you are." the cherub nodded. "Yes..." she smiled at him. "Please dont worry your little head they will figure things out. And my what strong couples you are forming. You know, I never would have guessed some by looking at them. You have a gift my friend." she took his hand. He squirmed in her embrace. "No! We aren't done here! Let me fix..." and with that they were gone in a flash of lightening. A corresponding slash of purple occured in Gotham. "Wh-whwere are we now?" as the cherub seeing himself in a city full of flowers and vines. The goddess grinned. "ooh looks like someone else has things covered here." (c)
Villainess: the cherub blushed at the people in the streets. (d)
Green Lantern: Hal hadn't looked at the menu for but a moment before his eyes shifted up from it and at Diana as she offered her suggestion on what they should have. Thankfully, she spoke it plainly for him to understand. "Well," he said after a moment, "well I'm not an Italian conissiour so I'll be fine with that."Hal sat the menu down in front of him and poured himself a glass of wine, holding it up towards her "A toast... to you and me and a quiet night." The Lantern offered a cheerful smirk as he waited for the return motion. A few years ago, he had to admit that he wasn't much better than gawkers that she used to attract, although thankfully that had only lasted for a few moments, but he wouldn't have seen himself here. Not back then.
Wonder Woman: Her fingers picked up the glass, holding it higher on the stem as with the red she wasn't as concerned with her hand warming the glass and by virtue the wine, offering it to toast. Her head inclined almost impreceptively as she replied, "A wonderful rarity." It was interesting, perhaps Aphrodite's influence spread far enough that the night would remain calm and everyone would get their night with a loved one. Diana, always thinking of others even when she was having a night where she should be thinking of herself, or at least on her date. The two glasses clinked softly, the gawkers still watching and whispering about the two superheroes daring to dine as if they were normal people. Over his shoulder she noticed a few couples kissing in the window; a little too public for the Amazon, but she was coming to terms that the Patriarch's world was not quite as reserved as it was when her mother knew it.
Villainess: The witch arrived in Central City, she smirked quite proud of herself. She had started spreading a type of love and lust that would obviously attract patheon attention and had influenced one of Aphrodite's cherubs. She hoped that he would influence his goddess or that she would come to visit her. She grnned. This was going too well, she was still moving and still no sign of amazons. she caressed some women in park watching them shiver and their eyes turn a shade of purple. "Spread the love." she cooed and continuted around the park. (d)
Green Lantern: "That it is," Hal answered, smiling still as he took a sip of his wine while not letting any of the others watching them even enter his mind. The woman in front of him was what mattered and, while he had once had an eye for the camera... being on the recieving end, spending time with Diana had matured him faster than he thought he ever had. Where he had started out as the resident joker of the League, a highballer with no care in the world, when that... Brainiac thing had attacked Earth and Superman was no where to be found he had found himself in a position, already tired and exhausted, to step up to the plate. That battle, which took to the streets of Metropolis, had forced Hal to set aside his ego and pride and fight for something completely other than himself. He'd dug deep and somehow managed to pull through, defeating the thing, but from that moment on his life, at least as Green Lantern on this planet, had never been the same. Diana had put it to him pointedly, kindly, but-
Green Lantern: pointedly how he no longer had a choice to go back to how he had been. By being there, at that moment, he had made a statement and a promise to the people of this planet and as a hero in general to be better than he ever had been. It had taken a bit... but eventually the meaning of her words began to show in his actions and how much they had sunk in. When Darkseid had shown himself, he had only cemented it. He was still Hal, just a more mature Hal. What certain people had always wanted him to be. "You know... I don't think I ever told you thank you.... for believing me in back when I had to start making these mature changes."
Star Sapphire: Alone again, too busy to do anything fun, to have a life outside the office Carol sat there doing paper work. Plans mostly for a new jet. Her eye cut to a picture on the wall. As a sudden crash ripped through the window of her office.” Carol Ferris of Earth you have been chosen.” Her eyes grew wide, as she jumped out of the way” Not this again!” The stone touched her forehead as a violet energy ripped away what was. Her fists clenched in the light as her clothes were changed to the Star Sapphire uniform. Tossing the desk away from her as she fought the Sapphire for control” True Love is in danger Carol Ferris, you cannot fight against this.” She struggled against the power of the jewel. “ I won’t be your puppet again!”
Wonder Woman: She shook her head, bringing her glass to her lips, taking a sip of the deep burgundy liquid. "There's no need to thank me; you knew you did the right thing, that you did all you could, you only needed someone to validate. You did what you had to," she said with a nod. "I have the benefit of a far longer hind sight than many of us," she started as the waiter came over and took their order before leaving them "alone" as much as they were going to get in public. "Is it me, or are people more... amorous than usual?" she said, her eyebrows drawing in as the couples who had been kissing were progressing around "the bases" as the man across from her might say.

(Group 2)
Villainess: Ivy smiled as she lounged in the large gotham arboritum. The plants had filled up the green house in green, the windows steamed over. She got up and caressed a closed flower blossom, the size of small dog, under it's petals, like a lover would under their favorite's chin. "Mm.. my lovelies. Are you ready to spread some love on the loveliest day of the year?" The flower and many just like it exploded in blossoms and a puple haze of perfumes, phermones, and spores. The vents of the aboraritum all suddenly opened as fans came on, expelling the heady aroma into the streets of gotham. Ivy smiled as she strode out of the hot house onto the streets of gotham. Flowers instantly started to blossom on the sides of buildings, flowers in window boxes suddenly opened adding to the perfume. Townfolks on the street started to pause and look about curiously, breathing in the scented vapors, smiling stupidly. Many started to blush, many forgot what they were doing. Traffic ground to a stop. (c)
Villainess: People started to rush each other, soon locked in each other's embraces, people with loved ones, many with strangers. Soon the streets were full people making out. Posion Ivy caressed the cheeks of a couple of strangers kissing each other. she whispers in their ears. "Happy Valentine's Day." (d)
Bruce Wayne stood before the mirror looking at himself as he prepared for a date. Alfred stopped by the room and spoke “Sir, you had better turn on the news…” Bruce’s eyebrows furrowed before turning on the television in his bedroom to see the camera and news report of people making love and spreading it. The headline title “City of Love?” Bruce bit his teeth together and then began taking off his tuxedo jacket and shirt. “Call Selina, tell her I can’t make it…” Alfred stood by as Bruce rushed to the Batcave. “Erm…ah, very well sir…” Lowering himself into the Batcave with the elevator shaft he approached the armory to change outfits and then make his way towards the batcomputer. “Full analysis of the city. Satellite imagery and scanning…” The computer began analyzing and studying everything in Gotham, its temperatures, climate, and population. There was nothing that immediately indicated a problem outside of normal except…Batman noticed pollution levels were decreased. <c>
He adjusted the satellite to report on yesterday’s status and found there was a 50% decrease in pollution. ‘That’s…not possible. For these kinds of results Sections of the city would have to be removed. Or something is absorbing -- maybe blocking pollution from being read on the scanners…Where’s Superman when I need him?’ Batman’s thoughts went by and then as Alfred arrived Batman looked at him. “I need to get a closer look at these phenomena. Current situations suggest Floranic Man or Poison Ivy, or something much scarier than both.”
Black Canary: Dinah Lance looked up at the tv above her worktable in her floral shop, she idilly watched the news, while putting together boquet after boquet. Her shop had every worker in and even a few friends to help out. She had a wall strung up with valentine's orders and had a route for deliveries all ready, pinned out nicely. She smiled, it was a big day for her little shop, and while it was tiring, she was glad to bring some smiles on this day. She looked up at the televsion as report came out showing love crazy people kissing in the streets. She smirked and shook her head. She finished arranging some roses and suddenly several blossoms in her shop burst open filling the room with scent and a slightlypurple haze. She coughed a bit and started to laughe a little, forgetting her bouquets, just stopping to smell carnation in her hand and caress it against her cheeks. (d)
The Harlequin: Harley loved Valentine's Day. It wasn't the chalky little hearts or the waxy chocolates that did it for her, it was the -normalization- of love. The peppy blond wore her heart on her sleeve and expressed her affections without hesitation. Just one day out of the year where this was an acceptable disposition and Harley thrived on it. She prepared for it weeks in advance, drawing her own little Valentines cards, specific to the recipient; stashing candies, tossing in her red panties to make the entire load of laundry pink. Cheapest dying method in the book. When the Joker found it advantageous to dump her during the entire month of February (he was getting tired of pink clothes,) Harley doubled her efforts to keep from feeling that creeping loneliness that slithered into her heart when she was left alone with her thoughts. It was on this current binge for pink sprinkles that made her leave the Valentine explosion of her dingy loft and venture through the city.-
The Harlequin: "Gee," Harley said, deftly avoiding the Public Displays of Affection. Never had she seen so much love. She didn't know whether to feel envy or excitement. Clearly, the blond felt both, smiling wide. Without her costume, her smiles were sunny and incandescent. "Best. Valentine's. Ever." She chirped before heading into the third shop to lift all the glitter and heart shaped window decals they had to offer.-F-
Villainess: Ivy grinned at growing group of swooinig people about her. Only a few people's hayfever was stopping them from joining in on the fun. Several flower shops about her burst into bloom. Ivy spread across buildings as the area seemed to be warm for this time of year, blossoms decorating the city in pinks and purples. she saw a shop full of valentine's and decorations. She tilted her head as she saw a blonde in pigtails. "Harley? Is that you? Happy Valentine's day." she smiled giving her a beckoning wave of a hand. (d)
The Batman walked towards the Bat Mobile when Alfred spoke. “Sir, is it wise to go into Gotham with such a…large vehicle? Traffic will be out of control. Perhaps you should take the Batwing or the Fruit Bat.” Batman looked around and then nodded. “Agreed. The Batwing” In only a few moments the jet was flying over Gotham as Batman read the cockpit instruments, the readings and visual of the city appeared fine outside of the decreasing pollution within the city. He saw a massive grouping of people by Robinson park, which piqued Batman’s interest. “Ivy…” He mumbled under his breath with a growl as a brooding expression formed with a stern chin and his teeth clutched against each other.
Black Canary: The blonde looked at her employees and foudn them all kissing each other, she bit her lip, it looked really nice. "um... you can have the rest of the day off..." she looked at the flowers and bit her lip, something wasn't adding up right in her head. she stumbled on to the streets and saw new flowers everywhere, even in the cracks of the sidewalk the scent was even worse out here and it made her feel... passion? she looked about everyone was making out, out here too... she fidgited and with tremendous will forced herself back into the shop, stumbling toward the 'back room' getting into it before she swooned feeling light headed. (d)
The Harlequin: When stealing items from a store, it was best not to make eye contact with the clerk, or start idle conversation. But the clerk was distracted and to dispel the awkward silence and the wet smack of tongue and teeth, Harley said, "Love is in the air, huh?" Not knowing how close she was to the truth. The clerk paid her no mind for he was focused on the supple customer/girlfriend who'd splayed herself on the counter. Funny, when she'd entered, that woman didn't look as though she even knew who that guy behind the counter was. Now, their linguistic skills could be heard from half way across the room, over the soft rock music that settled as the romantic backdrop for their love. It was totally romantic if it wasn't so weird. "Um, thanks for these, I guess?" Harley's arms were full of loot and she carefully avoided the couple to reach for a bag to cram her goodies in. Before she left, she grabbed a candy bar and waved at the couple. Red's voice, like warm velvet, she'd know it anywhere.-
The Harlequin: Harley turned and gave her a big grin, rushing outside and throwing her arms around the sultry botanist's trim waist and squeezed her tight. "Oh Red! Happy V Day! I was gonna call you to see if you were busy," she didn't say that she had been dumped again. It almost didn't need to be said anymore. "Boy, these folks are really gettin' inta the holiday spirit, aren't they?" She asked as she pulled back from the redhead.-F-
Villainess: Ivy smirked as the blonde rushed out and hugged her. she gave a little hug back, trying hard not to grimace at the overly tight hug. "They are indeed. With a little of my help..." she gestured to the purfumed air and the flowers creepy over buildings. "We are on our way to Robinson park and the rest of gotham, care to join us? or do you have a date.." she said, the alst word with a bit of disdain, she had never cared for the joker. She looked up as she heard a jet in the sky. "Aw, looks like the bat wants to join us too." she flicked a hand and vines from the buildings lashed out and tried to tangle about the jet. (d)
“Ace, take over the Batwing…” Batman gripped the handle bars on either side of the cockpit and yanked down causing the floor beneath him to eject Batman towards the ground. His cape flipped open snaring his descent as he flew down towards the ground. The vines went to strike the jet but, it was out of reach and provided the perfect distraction for Ivy to focus on. Circling around to approach from behind her, Batman landed from his glide. “Ivy!” Batman swung his palm to strike Ivy in the chest, a blow that would cut her of oxygen temporarily while also aimed to throw her backwards and into the crowd of people behind her, it was now Batman saw Harley, not dressed in her usual outfit. “Stay out of this.” He growled before taking a few more steps towards Ivy. “What did you do to the city?”
Black Canary: Dinah stumbles onto one of the work benches and grabs her earpiece. "Black Canary to anyone... the flowers... the flowers are aphrodisiacs... I'm surrounded by them... they are affecting Gotham..." her tone sounding a bit too warm and friendly. "Canary out..." she scrambles to see if she can find that air filter she had. (d)
The Harlequin: Harley's face crumpled at the question, her big baby blue eyes shiny with quick tears, her pink glossy mouth drawn down in a pitiful frown. "Nooo." The tears didn't fall from her eyes, hanging with perfect ease on her lower lashes until several quick blinks banished them away. A cute sniffle, a swipe of her eyes, "But who needs 'im?!" Harley demanded with her fingers discreetly crossed. "Just you and me tonight, Red." Her eyes cast up to the sky, following Ivy's tactile vines. "Okay, you, me, and B-man. Kinkier than I would normally spend my Valentine's evenings, but beggars can't be choosers." Not that Batman would be a horrible choice if choosers were being choosie. Kitty liked him well enough. Oh, but he was so grumpy, like right now. His anger was in stark contrast to the lovers around him. It irked her. "Hey! What's tha big deal? She hasn't hurt anybody!" Harley didn't have her regular toys with her, but she did reach into her bag and pull out three canisters of pink glitter.-
The Harlequin: She threw them at Batman, one after the other with the hopes that at least one would explode all over him.-F-
Villainess: Ivy looked at the sad looking blonde, her expression softend a little and then her hands balled into fists. That damn clown! when would harley learn? But better things were on her mind as the plane just missed her vines grasp. The redhead turned to face the familar growl behind her, but too late her focus on the fleeing plane had cost her as she got a palm to her chest. She was knocked into a heap of affectionate people. She frowned. "I see some people are immune to the Valentine spirit... Oh wait you need a heart for it to work..." she said dryly. "I'm merely spreading a bit of love batman... do you see anyone fighting here? and doesn't it smell better without all that pollution cloging the air?" she smirked as Harley threw glitter at Batman and slowly got up. "It's a concentrated pefume of pollen and spores batman, synthisizng phermones and enducing feeling of love, lust, and affection. and as you can see it's a fast grower." she smiled. Slowly more and more vines encircled the three.
Batman felt the first bottle strike him and it fell to the ground, but as the second one from Harley was about to be thrown, he would attempt to grab her wrist and be prepared to punch her directly in the face with his titanium plated knuckle but, as his eyes stared into hers and without make-up on her, he didn’t want to bring her into this. He took the bottles and threw them onto the ground before turning his eyes to narrow upon Poison Ivy. “I’m only going to say this once…Stop this -- now!” Batman’s face held into a curled snarl. His hands tightened into fists preparing to fight her while taking notice of the vines around them, he reached to his hip for his grappling gun and held it by his side to prepare for rapid mobility.
Black Canary: Dinah managed to find the air filter and put it about her face, breathing in deep, but it didn't seem to help the sensations going through her. She opened a drawer of antidotes her mother and batman had given her, her hands shaking, her cheeks flushed. Dammit, it was so hard to focus! (d)
The Harlequin: He was also kind of grabby. To be fair, she was attacking him. But since it was with glitter, Harley didn't think it counted. Oh! He was going to hit her. Her eyes were wide with surprise. Over glitter? He's probably mad that his wife would chew his ear off. The lithe blond was preparing to duck, but she saw a flash of hesitation in his eyes and yanked her wrist away just as he was planning on releasing her, sending her back into a steady crouch. In tight blue jeans, it was a bit of a strain, but she stayed low, ready to attack if she needed to. Now, Harley didn't hate Ivy's vines. They were remarkably affectionate for they seemed like an extension of the redhead and Red and Harley were very good friends. And ever since Ivy injected Harley with her strange serum, the vines didn't outright attack her when she popped over for an unannounced visit. But Harley had a hard time dispelling the horror movies she'd seen as an adolescent. Evil Dead came to mind, and though Harley would never-
The Harlequin: want to make Red upset by bring up these childish fears, Harley's initial reaction was to carefully scoot closer to Red. -F-
Villainess: The cherub looked at circe angrily. "Could you stop doing that?!"
The witch sighed. "YOu want to stay here? suit yourself." she stepped out of an alley and saw batman with ivy and a blonde, she accessed her magic, knowing who all three were instantly. "See what did I tell you? conflict, even amongst all this love."
The cherub gasped. "Wh-what is he doing those women?"
The witch smirked. "he is an angry man with a troubled past, he finds love hard to get into. I'm afraid my magic wouldnt' do much good here if the plant nymphs love flowers can't affect him."
the cherub looked at them. "you think my love could help them? I... the blonde and the giant bat do seem to care deeply for others though... and it looks like he needs more cheer in his life..." the cherub flew over and caressed Harley's cheek whispering words of love, batman seemed so strong and handsome and lonely... why hadn't she seen that before? he seemed dreamy. (c)
Villainess: The Cherub caressed Batman's cheek and whispered into a bat ear. The blonde's retreat seemed heart breaking, she seemed like such a sweet and innocent thing, had he been to harsh? batman would find something irresistable about the blonde.
Circe just grinned and vanished in blast of lightening. (d)
Villainess: The red head never saw the cherub although she sensed something throught he pollen, something near them. she frowned at Batman. "I have worked too hard for this! You will have to stop me Batman." she growled vines starting lash and curl about them getting close to Batman. Ivy's green eyes flashed with anger. she didn't even notice the posture of the other two changing. (d)
Batman leered at Ivy ‘it’s now or never.’ He fired his grappling hook and then turned towards Harley. “Come on!” He reached out to grab her and pull her towards the rooftops ‘What the hell am I doing? Getting Harley to safety? Right.’ If Harley came with him they would arrive upon the rooftops and Batman would look down to see Ivy’s vines. “Are you okay? I’m sorry about what I did…I didn’t mean to threaten or scare you. I was just…angry. But now I’m not.” Batman looked around and narrowed his eyes. ‘Something is wrong about this. Has Ivy affected me with her poison? She hasn’t touched me and I should be immune to her affects…And yet my heart it feels different.’
The Harlequin: That's weird, Harley thought, scratching her cheek. She was just in the middle of thinking about how uptight Batman was when her thoughts took her down a new path. She'd had extensive training as a psychiatrist so she didn't find her line of thinking particularly unusual. She's tried to shrink Batman a few times in the past. He was gruff, brooding, and prone to violence. Not unlike many criminals she knew. But he also had that slice of empathy that was so human, so approachable. Harley furrowed her brows and stood, trying to understand her feelings. These feelings have always been on reserve for the Joker. She'd seen things in him that might or might not be there. And here she was, seeing these same things in Batman. Feeling the same saturated affects of love. So when he grabbed for her, she didn't fight him. She went to him. Clung to him the way she use to cling to the Joker, as if he'd run away from her. They always seemed to run away from her.-
The Harlequin: He set her down and she didn't step away, why would she? "Oh, it's okay! I can take a punch," She smashed her fist into her palm. "I'm not scared of you." It was meant as an insult, but it came out like a breathy admission. And then her mouth was talking before her brain could check the words. "How come I've never noticed what a stud you were, B?" She tilted her head, clearly flirting.-F-
Villainess: Ivy's eyes opened wide as batman offered to take harley, the harley who he had just threatened away from all this. And then harley practically leaped into his arms as they wisked away. How... How could this be possible? Her flowers could affect people, but not with that range of emotion... and they both seemed immuned... she noticed that disturbance in the pollen again. "I don't know who you are but thank you..."
Villainess: The cherub suddenly appeared to the redhead and smiled at Ivy. "It was my pleasure fair nymph. I'm glad to see you are helping make the world a better place too! If you will excuse me this town is full of hate and needs my help." and then he flew off. She just stared open mouthed, taking a full moment to register this in her scientific mind and couldn't. She shrugged it off and looked at her vines who parted for her. "come on my lovelys, we were given a blessing by Cupid himself. let's keep spreading the love." she grinned and proceded to the park, leaving lovers in her wake. (d)
Batman quirked a brow at Harley, finding his arm still wrapped around her. “I…uh…Doctor…Harleen, I’ve always had an interest in your career. I always thought you would go somewhere meaningful. It’s a shame you’ve made the choices you have but, I forgive you…I…” Batman placed his hands upon Harleen’s cheeks and leaned in towards her when an arrow shot Batman in the cape and threw him backwards and away from Harley. A man dressed in a green hood armed with a bow and arrow dropped down from the roof top next to where Batman and Harley were. “Trust me, Batman, the morning after is full of regret.” Green Arrow approached Harley and gave her a knowing smirk. “Don’t you have a bank to go and rob? He and I have something to discuss.”
Black Canary: Dinah scrambled through the drawer and found the antidote she was looking for. A cocktail bruce had cooked up of anti-poision and blocker of phermone related affects. She downed it before she ended up dropping the vial. she slumped to the floor, her head slowly clearing, her body still feeling warm but not like before. Geeze what was in those flowers, she had to find the source of all this. Since the vial worked it was likely Poison Ivy. She quickly changed into her fishnets and the blonde was soon racing down the lover choked roads of gotham, following the trail of plants and people to see if she could find the source. (d)
The Harlequin: No one's called her Harleen in years. Even her mother's switched over to the more streamlined diminutive "Harls." So Harley stifled a grin and reminded him, "No one bothers to call me doctor since my license got revoked!" She wasn't laughing at him but amusement did flash in her eyes as he leaned down. It was a tender moment, she could feel his warm breath on her lips and Harley felt the butterflies battling fiercely in her belly. Her eyes closed, her lips pursed and ready, rising up on her tip toes to reach him faster, always eager. And then a whoosh and chilly air kissed her instead. Oddly, it didn't seem particularly unlike Batman to disappear. He'd played the vanishing act on her a couple of times before, coming for information and poofing into thin air once he had what he wanted. But Harley didn't think he got what he wanted yet so she opened her eyes and frowned. Green Arrow. "Hey, mind your own beeswax! Me and B are having a -private- conversation and you're not invited!"-
The Harlequin: Damnit all, she didn't have any of her things with her. What did jeans and a cropped tee shirt have to offer her at a time like this. Harley bounded over to Batman, he didn't look hurt, but Harley was awaited with her usual nurturing instincts. -F-
Villainess: Ivy was no longer paying attention to what was going on the roof tops, she was nearly to the park now. There was enough open space and plants there that her spores and pollen could really multiply. She caught the glimpse of purple and yellow on a side street. she quickly had vines lash a wall between the buildings to close the street. Dammit, the black canary was here now too! She got a thought and smirked. "Oh little cupid? oh little matching making friend? I know someone who desperately needs love..." she nearly cooed. (d)
Batman growled at Green Arrow as he took Harleen’s hand and got up off the ground, his free hand ripped the arrow away from his cape. “You shouldn’t be here, Arrow. Get out of our way.” Green Arrow sighed and slumped his shoulders. “Seriously? I’m trying to save you from Barbie over there, do you even know where she’s been? She’s Joker’s squeeze; need I spell it out anymore for you?” Batman went to hold Harley to the side as though to protect her. “You can’t stop me, Arrow.” Green Arrow armed another shot and pointed it at Batman. “Do you really want to take up stock on that?” Batman fired his wrist batarangs at Green Arrow causing him to shoot back at Batman while tumbling to his left while arming another arrow just as Batman tumbled and threw smoke pellets, the area filled with smoke causing Arrow to cough before covering his mouth. “Ohh, smoke…How original.” He fired his shot towards the rooftops and a grappling line yanked him out of the smoke allowing him to land near Harley. <c>
“Keep your pants on toots; I’m working in the interest of both of you.” He armed another arrow and searched the smoke for Batman. When Batman fired his batclaw from the smoke, Arrow’s bow was snatched from his hand causing him to grunt. “Alright, let’s do this like men.” Green Arrow took up a boxing stance while remaining light on his toes.
Villainess: The invisible cherub frowned as the sweet moment had been ruined by this green man with the bow. More fighting! these people were all mixed up. If only he could find some love for him, he wouldn't be jealous of the blonde and the bat. He heard the nymph call to him and flew down, appearing next to her. He smiled at her words.
Black Canary: The black Canary grunted in frustration as road after road were blocked out for her. She could see Posion Ivy and the crowd of love drunk people. She was so close! She sped down a couple of blocks, into an alley, and then jumped her bike onto a dumpster and came flying onto the street. She saw ivypaused and... and talking to thin air? she frowned, was fromer scientist influenced somehow? she charged toward her on her bike. (d)
The Harlequin: Green Arrow was aggravating. He strutted like a rooster and tossed names at her that, under normal circumstances, she wouldn't have found insulting, did now when within earshot of Batman. "Very noble, of you, Robin Hood, but I'm not interested in what you think my interests are. Joker's yesterday's news. I'm sweet on B-man now." The smoke did make it hard for her to be sweet on him because she couldn't see him. He was always so elusive before, she never saw the potential there. Was she attracted to his detachment? But he wasn't detached. He used inclusive words like "Our" and it made her heart all a pitter patter. And he'd tried to shelter her, protect her, and it was so far removed from how Harley was normally treated that it made her what to squeal with joy. So there was no way. No way on Ivy's green earth, was she going to let this cocky jerk come between her and her Bat. She'd let Batman distract him as she tip toed over to the discarded bow.-
The Harlequin: She couldn't shoot it worth a damn, but a swift swing to the back of Arrow's head would bring about the same results. And since Harley was well practiced at swinging blunt objects, she swung with gusto. Should Green Arrow duck, Harley would miss. -F-

DC Dark - Dark Valentine
(Group 3)
[Two homes only two miles apart from each other. He shovels a driveway of snow, she makes a cup of coffee and stares out to the sea of white and the islands of black surface coated in dampness. He cleans his car off of snow; she decides what to wear for work. Betty Gotschal dreams that her lover will be strong; he will respect her for who she is, and have a home of his own. Anthony Rogers’s dreams that his lover will be relaxed, respecting of his space, and love everything about him. It’s what they desire and it’s what dreams are for…He drives through the neighborhood of a suburban area, she drives through a middle class part of town. He stops by Dunkin’ Donuts; she stops by Starbucks. They arrive at the intersection of Main and Fifth where they see each other for the first time and for a moment their dreams become reality.] <c>
[They now know what they desire, what they longed for. Like a flame catching a stick within the woods, a wildfire set into motion as they pull into the parking lot next to each other, somehow they know and somehow they are drawn in.] “Hi, I’m Anthony…” “…I’m Betty, I didn’t know you worked here.” “You took the words right out of my mouth, Betty.” [That day they felt a mixture of emotions, they worked in separate parts of the building. They took every opportunity to satisfy their need to see the other while they took notice of sadness whenever they parted. After work they went to his house, he owned one. She didn’t intrude on his space; she respected him. He asked politely if she wanted to marry him, she agreed and that was the end.] <c>
[They fall asleep together and dream of each other…Two homes, only two miles apart from each other. He shovels a driveway of snow, she makes two cups of coffee and stares out at a sea of white snow where a man holds the sea at bay standing upon an island of black surface coated in sleet before she decides to get what she plans to wear…Marvin and Benjamin live in two homes…Harry and Jenna live in two homes…Kelly and Barry live in two homes…and so it goes…and so it goes the dreams of people merge and merge…it’s a cycle of reaching one’s dreams.]
Death of the Endless: Creation is a funny thing, simple yet complex, Life and Death exist as a single being. Love and Hate are not two separate things but two halves of the same whole, neither can exist without the other. In the realm of death it was the same way. Overlooking Creation One one side of the void was the nightmare city of R’hyleh the other a path to the mansions of silence. Heaven on one side Hell on the other. Simple yet complex. Death made her tally for today. Suicides, Rage killings , crimes of passion while not that uncommon this time of year or any time of year. There was an over abundance within the past few earthly hours. Death marked another off her list.
Villainess: A figure of beauty sat at the end of a bed as desires came true in dreams. The figure looked masculine and feminine and it was hard to tell which they were. the figure caressed a cheek and smiled. Grinning at the rampant desires they could sense sprouting in so many citys. The figure in their sleek tailored suit and slicked back hair, smirked at the mirror. "Hello dear sister, watching me? are you feeling as much despair as I am of desire?" a figure of a large woman nodded. "Yes, my twin." gurgled a watery whispery voice. (d)
“How could you do this to me?” [Harry walked into the room where his lover John was making out with a woman in nude, distraught and angered he felt his dreams fall into despair, he bolted into the kitchen and John and his lover continued to entangle each other, fulfilling each others needs. When Harry returned he found himself wanting something new, revenge. He stabbed the knife into the lover first causing her to scream in agony, but she wasn’t dead yet, she had moments to realize that perfection was being yanked away from her, that her world would be submerged into darkness and then cold washed over her. John felt the knife as well, too he felt coldness, regret, and anger at himself for being so weak, but Harry didn’t give him what he wanted.] <c>
Upon his realm, the Lord of Nightmares walked with his helmet in tow by his side. “Something is not right…The humans realm is being disturbed…The dreams are merging together. Creating one large dream. Someone is doing something, Lucien.” Lucien stood before Dream holding a book, shifting through notes of what to make of this current situation. “There is nothing I know of currently that would cause this, my lord.”
Death of the Endless: A dark robbed figure stepped into Death’s domain, holding a large scythe skeletal hands wrapped around the blade.” Sorry to bother you Mistress, You seem overly busy today.” She didn’t look up from her list, marking another name off. She could be in multiple places at once while her main consciousness was within her domain there were dozens of her on Earth. She simply marked through another name.” Mistress?” The Grim Reaper stepped forward.” Should I go aid you Earth?” Death shook her head” Nope, I’ve got it right now. Thank’s Grimmy but if you like send a message to my brother.. Ask him to check his book, I want to see if all these names were “meant” to die today.”
Opals filled with a deep blue oil looked around the domain as his messenger soon came. Raven skin upon a raven bird fluttering its wings as fast as it could. Raising his arm while revealing pale white and blue skin, Morpheus looked upon the raven and spoke with calmness in his voice. “Yes Matthew?” “A message from your sister…She is curious about the deaths of the humans on Earth.” The spiky hair of Morpheus swayed and moved some while he turned and looked towards Lucien, his helmet remaining by his side while Lucien searched the book in hand. “No my lord. Nothing I can tell seems right about them…” Those opals turned to Matthew - the raven, and he began petting his feathers as he walked into a hall way, perhaps a doorway to each of his family members ‘rooms’ within their ‘house’ of a domain. He arrived at a charm of Death’s symbol <c>
Delicate fingers wrapped around its back side as Matthew climbed onto Morpheus’s shoulder. Soft he spoke “Death?..........My older sister….May I speak with you?” She was always busy and given the amount of disturbance he had no idea how many exactly were dead, his concentration focused on the fabric of dreams being quilted together like a large swirl of colors as everyone’s dreams began to take the form of other’s dreams, the same dream repeating…it kept Morpheus distracted like his sister was distracted. He did not conceive that perhaps it was intentional, to hide a more sinister plot. He did not enjoy distracting his sister for any longer than what was necessary, but he did enjoy her company when it was present.
Death of the Endless: She perked from her seat and she placed t the paper down, the ink would automatically mark out names that needed to be marked off. These were the names of the ones who couldn’t be reincarnated. The ones that were dead and had never done anything. Much like heroes the mundane were removed from the cycle of reincarnation. She ran to her brother wrapping her arms around him in a big hug.”DREAM!” She clung to him for a moment.” What drags you out of the dreaming?”
Feeling her pale arms of thin design coil about him, the vice of her grip far too powerful if the same pressure were applied to a mortal. He returned the hug but the sorrow of his expression did not seem to change. “It’s good to see you my sister. That is exactly why I must speak with you. My realm…the dreams are blending together from the mortal realm…It is killing some of them while destroying the creativity of others…And soon the net is growing ever steady. I’m unsure what could cause this. It should not be possible for humans to dream the same, to share the same wants and dreams of others. They are supposed to be unique and different. They are choosing to be the same for an unknown reason.” His eyes scrunched closer displaying his confusion or lack of understanding at the mystery.
Death of the Endless: “Have you checked with the Dream Gods? To see if any of them have done so? I know when I started looking at my list the first thing I did was speak with a few of the Death Gods to see if they had anything to do with it? There are several beings who can walk in dreams and effect dreams, you should also check with them.” She nodded sagely and she said” If not them then check for mortals who aren’t in the dreams. Just as there are mortals who can create an aspect of death , see Destiny.. there are those who can create aspects of dreams..”
He raised his pale fingers to his chin, his helmet had long since disappeared in the instance he saw his sister. “Hmm……..I should speak with Destiny. He may be able to answer my final question…who is behind this?” Dream always had new inspirations while around Death; she was an incredible source of imagination and thought provoking concepts, over the thousands of years he had forgotten more ideas he had gotten from Death than he could recall. Perhaps she wasn’t only inspiring old ideas that were forgotten? As no one knew better than them that time was as endless as their kin. Turning away to head back to a portal. “Is there anything I can do for you before I speak with Destiny?”
Death of the Endless: "Don't waste your time, you know how Destiny is.. Creation could come to an end and he would still give you a vague answer that makes absolutley no sense to anyone until It's tme for it to make sense. " she thought for a second and she said" You might want to check with the younger siblings instead.. Desire and Despair love their games. Perhaps Destruction but I doubt he cares enough to do anything with people dreaming..Deli doesn't have the raw power to do so and I doubt she could think straight enough to do so..You either want to look for something with enough power to mess with your world, or alot of weaker beings who can together make up that power..The Egyptians, The Greeks..Maybe the Trickster but I think he is still bound..Devils and Demons also I know a few who have the power to dream walk. The question is who would want to mess with you, and who is stupid enough to attempt to incure my wrath? So Option 1 something or someone is trying to mess with you, and by extention me-
Death of the Endless: Or the most likely something is doing this and does not know we exist...lesser gods, or demons."
“Then perhaps seeking Destiny is not what I should do…rather I should seek out those who can answer my questions…” Dream was referencing the Three-in-One; the one-in-three, who may be of service to Dream once more. “If Desire or Despair is behind this - and they may be, they will learn of my potential wrath. If they are not aware of the event, would it be wise to inform them? I think not and I do not believe they can stop what has already been set in motion. What is happening here seems like someone has been planning this and may not…as you say…understand the consequences of their actions.” His opals shifted back to Death to examine her current form and shape, seeing two different designs upon a single tapestry.
Death of the Endless: “I’m Omniscient to a point but even I cannot know what is not meant to be known. And no it wouldn’t be wise to let them know. But perhaps to watch them.” She thought for a moment before saying” And brother…if it turns out to be them…Do not break the rules. You know what happens if you shed the blood of family. I cannot protect you from it if you do. “ She walked back towards her collection. Which she had created over the years and she said” If you need any further advice you know where to find me, I will check on you in a bit to see how your “Investigation” is going.”

JLA Valentines Day - Titans
(Group 4)
Red Robin sat upon a computer, propping his head up with his hand. His heart was aching but, his mind kept him somewhat focused…He missed her a lot and he was here working duty on the Titan Tower. When the band became full of news. “Mad Love or pure Madness?! People all over Jump City are locking lips and hearing church bells. While others are tied to fits of outrage, jealous lovers and conflict between who’s in love with who? The police can’t understand what the problem is, maybe it truly is a magic.” Red Robin stood up and leered at the television and tapped his communication button on the computer. “Robin to Titans, we got a problem here. Report in as soon as you can.”
Donna Troy: Wonder Girl had been patrolling the skies when she was reached over earpiece. "Wonder Girl reporting, I'll be on my way soon Robin." Donna's heart leaped suddenly. Robin said that there had been a problem 'here'. She hoped this didn't mean that the tower was under attack. Her figure sped through the air towards the tower. "Please be alright." Hopefully no one had gotten hurt. Donna hadn't considered that Robin had meant otherwise. She always jumped to conclusions without actually bothering to rule out other issues. Usually that would have been Dick's job.
Raven: Music was lightly playing throughout the dark room while Raven’s eyes were on text about love spells. It seemed that they had been invented way back and that the symptoms were strange. Hearing her communicator, she stared at it for a while. “…” It seemed that Valentine’s Day was going be a busy day after all. Walking over to it, Raven grabbed it and walked away. She would take her time to make it to where Robin was. No need to rush if the others were out, right?
Donna and Raven had arrived to see Red Robin by the computer looking at a news report, shifting to look at them Robin spoke. “We gotta get out there and try to stop this madness from getting out of hand. People are dying…” Red Robin looked at Raven and spoke. “Can you teleport us to the center of the city? We should start by looking there…Be careful, whatever is causing this might have an affect on us. Keep your hearts guarded, is the only thing I can tell you.” The Titans wouldn’t know what to expect on the other side of the teleportation, but Tim kept guard, thoughts about Stephanie went through his mind, the hurt and loss of her, perhaps betraying her and her memory…Sure she was dead now, but that pain meant a lot and it was love not easily replaced.
Donna Troy: "Guard our hearts? In the center of the city? Robin are you alright? You don't look right or sound right. If you can't fight I'd advise you to stay behind." Donna was worried about Robin. She didn't want any of her team members getting hurt. "Raven, does he look alright to you?" Were the two keeping something from her? Well at least the tower hadn't been under attack like she had thought. As long as the rest of them were safe and prepared. They needed to stay focus with this battle according to Robin, but Donna had nothing to keep her mind off of things. It was an advantage that she wished one day would go away. One day she'd split her attention with someone.
Raven: “…” Raven stayed quiet, listening to the orders. She then looked over as Donna had asked her the question and took a good close look at Red Robin. “…We have work to do.” She said, instead of answering it directly. “He looks fine to me.” She finally answered, wondering what Donna saw. “Besides, we need to get to the people and we don’t have time for this.” Before she said anything else, she grabbed both of their hands and casted her famous spell. “Azarath, metrion, zinthos!” With that, a wave of dark magic engulfed all three of them, disappearing. It appeared in the center of the city and Raven let their hands go, but kept the dark magic up and around them. “…I can take you back if you’re not up to this, Robin.” She commented, knowing that the response would probably be a ‘no.’
As they appeared Red Robin looked at Wonder Girl and narrowed his eyes. “I’m fine. I was just saying…that if people are under the influence of love juice, we need to be prepared to deal with anything like that. Not that I’m under the influence of any love juice. Just-…” “It’s the Titans!!!” A group of people came rushing towards the heroes and immediately Red Robin armed his bo staff in preparation for combat when they were regular people. One of them connected with Donna just by visual, her heart would begin to pound in her chest. He smiled at her and came to hold her hand. “Hi, I’m Jeremy.” He would attempt to kiss her, she would feel an inclination to flirt or talk to Jeremy but, kissing might’ve put the Amazon off a slight bit. Red Robin felt a boy and a girl attempt to kiss him, which he pushed them back, while no one seemed to notice Raven. “Uhh--Raven, Wonder Girl…a little help?” Robin said, sweat sliding down his cheek.
Donna Troy: "Hera, help us! I have my own problem to deal with, Robin!" Wonder Girl pulled her arm back hoping to tug it away from this Jeremy boy. He was handsome, but wait no. He was in no way even appealing to her tastes! "Please release me!" Even as she flung the boy around in a wicked dance of discontent he persisted. Soon Donna was on the ground with Jeremy on top. "I said no thank you!" She lifted a leg to kick him off. What sort of battle was this? "I'm coming Robin! Don't move!" Wonder Girl flew above the cloud until she could spot Robin then swooped in to pull him out. "You weren't kidding. I'm astounded by this crowd. I would think the people of this city had stronger hearts."
Raven: Raven listened as the two spoke. Donna seemed to have been worried, but something that caught her attention was a man that was walking towards her. “…” Raven didn’t say anything as he introduced himself as Jeremy. His attention turned though as Robin seemed to have been attacked by a man and a woman. That was slightly surprising, but in the end, it really wasn’t. She was about to move when Wonder Girl saved him. Staring at the people, Raven wasn’t surprised that nobody was after her, but it did give her a clue. Was this magic? Looking up at them, she wanted to smirk, but didn’t. Instead, a sarcastic remark came out. “He’s too handsome.” Raven flew toward them, wondering how to deal with the situation. “…What do we do now? You two are magnets.”
Red Robin took a moment to think about it, before Raven’s comment about his looks sunk in and a small blush came to his face and his lips flat-lined attempting to contain his embarrassment to the compliment. By no means would Tim consider himself like Dick Grayson, who many have said he was attractive, who could deny it while he was wearing his Nightwing outfit? Coming back to reality Red Robin looked at both of them. “I’m fine, I can go back in for more…I don’t feel affected by this at all.” As Red Robin spoke, Donna would begin to feel her own thoughts and heart beating for this Jeremy fellow, maybe she was too harsh initially, maybe she was too rough and should apologize - no harm in that right?
Donna Troy: She looked over at Raven in embarrassment recalling her former words. "Did you say some--" Donna's words were cut off. Her mind had been clouded with thoughts of Jeremy. At this point she had flew herself and Robin straight into the side of a building. The damage had caught her off-guard as she slumped to the ground. "Jeremy, please!" All she could do was cry his name and not understand the reason why she didn't know anything about him. 'Jeremy. He'll save me. Save? Save who?' Robin! Where had he fallen? "Robin!" Wonder Girl limped over to Tim hoping to check on his own physical state. "I'm sorry! Robin! I just couldn't focus. It's all my fault. Please answer me! Please be alright!" The thoughts of Jeremy were rushing through her. She didn't know what to do. In her mind she began going through faces in her head. 'Think of someone. Think of anyone.' Robin, Diana, and Dick. "Dick?" That snapped her out of it for the moment.
Raven: There was a small feeling of satisfaction knowing that the other was slightly flushed due to the comment. However, her mind went back to the people. There was something that wasn’t adding up. Perhaps half-demons weren’t affected by this? Was it because she was one of the Seven Deadly Sins? Raven thought, but couldn’t get an answer. This was weird and it was turning to be more suspicious. She turned her eyes from Robin to Donna. She wondered if she was alright after that incident. Did physical contact transmit this? As Donna was flying, she saw that she flew into the building. Reaching over, she tried to grab onto them, but couldn’t in time. Flying next to them, she stared at Donna and at Tim. “…This is getting out of hand.” She reached down, staring at Tim right in the eyes. “Are you hurt?” Looking over at Donna, Raven would ask the same thing. “Are you hurt? What were you thinking?” Raven tried to think of something, wondering if there would be a spell in her magic book to counter this.
Red Robin looked between the two and then stared directly at the building in front of them. “Donna? Uh Donna? -- Oh boy…” swallowing his throat full of saliva he closed his eyes and prepared himself for collision as he felt her body shake before she released him and he fell, instinctive he reached for his grappling hook gun while his other hand held his bo staff folded into an escrima stick. As Raven reached out he did just that to grab her and escape. “My body’s a little sore, but ow…it’s still working.” His arm wrapped around Raven’s shoulder for support, allowing her to wrap one hand around his waist to hold him. “Between us three…I feel like Lois La-…Nevermind, you two probably have no clue who I’m talking about anyway. There’s gotta be something behind this; perhaps we could grab a blood sample from a murder victim?”<c>
Donna would feel herself admitting love for Dick Grayson, and if she held any regret about their relationship she would fall back to her attraction for Jeremy. If she held to her conviction and kept herself truthful to her love she wouldn’t be hindered any longer by the magical influence.
Donna Troy: "Lois who?" Dammit. She was fine now but somehow Dick had still been the reason she had been saved. That'd be another dinner on her. Wonder Girl held her head up proudly with a smile. She was still in her own little world but slowly emerging from it after thinking about the bat-boy. "Anyway, we should get out of here before things get worse. Spreading for clues would usually be less time consuming, but in this case I think we should stick together." Her hand tossed back her hair as she thought. "There's got to be something around that crowd. Why else would they be swarming?"
Raven: Holding her leader up, she gave a small nod, hoping that he would just be sore. She knew he would probably need pain killers. Turning her attention away after that comment, she didn’t question it. He was probably rambling about people he knew that they didn’t. She looked at Donna, waiting for her answer. Once she changed the subject, Raven looked down at the people. “…” Sticking together did sound like a good idea. However, there was slightly pinching at Raven’s side while Donna was talking. She turned her eyes and looked at Wonder Girl again. “What are you thinking so much about? What contradicts the…thing?”
Red Robin looked between the two heroines and their exchange, he had nothing further to add due to the lack of details or information. He simply took notes based on what they were saying before deciding to add. “Donna, are you under its influence?” the thought of whether it had hold of her or not came to mind, but she had been weird this entire time. Something was eating at her from the inside. ‘Wonder Girl is strong, maybe as strong as Superman and Wonder Woman but, underneath that tough skin, I know there’s a person who has emotions. You could say I have experience with people who try to -mask- how they feel and hide their emotions.’
Donna Troy: Donna was quiet for a while before she turned her head to look at Raven. "I'm sure you know exactly what I'm thinking, but I'm fine now. Honestly. I think I can beat it this time. There won't be any more problems just don't remind me of what happened and try not to get in my way when I'm thinking." She attempted to be forward to them and not scare them. Her fists clenched at her sides while she started walking. Of course, she stopped herself when she looked back at the sluggish Robin. "Can he walk? I can carry him if you need a break, Raven."
Raven: Raven kept holding Tim up, staring at Donna for an answer. That was a clue to what she was thinking and she knew exactly what that moment she had said it. “…Think of your loved ones and it’ll go away.” She mumbled under her breath, even though it was more to Tim than herself. Raven didn’t want to say anything as she started walking with him. “I’m fine with him. I can carry him.” She didn’t want to mention something that was on her mind. How she had to look after them both now. “Who do we interview first out of all of those?” She looked down at the normal people and their actions. “…I wonder why I'm not affected by all of this.”
Red Robin finally puzzled it together after taking their hints. “It hasn’t affected you probably for a number of reasons…You’re not entirely human. Your demonic heritage might protect you from whatever it is…I don’t know why it’s not affecting me, but I guess it’s because I already have someone I love…And even though she’s dead, it’s not something that even magic can change in my heart…Hmm, magic…Cupid maybe?” Tim looked between the ladies. “Perhaps it’s an angel - y’know? Cupid the heavenly matchmaker? He’s spreading some kind of love juice or something.”
Raven: “Magic.” Raven repeated, staring down at the people. She turned her attention to her leader, wondering if he was going to be alright. “Here.” She slowly reached down, leaving him to sit down. “Let me go see what type of magic this is.” With that, she looked over at Donna to take care of Robin and went through the ground. She felt the magic after a while and stopped, staring at the people here and there. “…” Trying to see who to choose, she closed her eyes, mumbling her spell. “Azarath, metrion…zinthos.” She felt her magic move through the people, feeling the magic go back to its source. Once there, she could see a woman that had her head turned. Looking at the woman, she turned her around and saw that it was powerful. As she tried to get closer, she was pushed back tenfold with her own magic due to the goddess’ magic, right into the wall. She shut her eyes, groaning a bit and falling. “Okay…” She mumbled, knowing that she had gotten her answer.
Red Robin was relatively alright; his armor had protected him from most of the damage but both of the team mates treated him like he was fragile, to them maybe he was. As Raven set him down and went to investigate he waited patiently, looking at Donna for a moment to read her reaction to everything before turning to look at Raven. “What did you find out?”
Donna Troy: Donna took slow breaths while looking at Raven stand near the crowd. If anyone could fix this she could. Although Wonder Girl wanted to help she knew her little handicap would only make a fool out of herself. "Can you tell where it's coming from?"
Raven: Pushing herself from the wall, she rubbed her back slightly, feeling the pain from the crash. She gave a small nod, knowing that it would be a big issue. “I don’t know exactly where it is coming from, but it’s a goddess’ magic.” She disliked that feeling of admitting it. It was as if she wasn’t good enough for it or that her demon blood wasn’t because she was just a hafling. She looked over at Robin, wondering what it would mean. “What will we do about this Goddess? It wasn’t Cupid, I know that. She had long hair and looked like one…that I haven’t met before…” She wondered if it was a good Goddess that was going rogue or made a stupid mistake. That would be interesting…but part of her didn’t want to deal with the Gods.
Donna Troy: "Goddess? Don't tell me." Wonder Girl gave a punch to wall next to her. It had to be an enemy of Diana's. This unusual trickery was nothing like the enemies of those in man's world. "This might be something we'll need back up for. Whoever we're dealing with won't be going away without a fight. I can only put up with her so long as I'm not affected by the magic."
“I don’t know…the most we can do is protect people in this city from its affects…Is there any way you can block the magic or protect a person from it?” ‘{R} I don’t like the idea of having her protect the whole city, but we can try to save as many people as we can from hurting others.’ His blue eyes studied the people, he was very limited on his knowledge of magic, and by that it was almost non-existent if it didn’t involve World of Warcraft magic. ‘{R} That’s it. There has to be a cleanse or a protective ward that can be cast upon people…Something that can undo the spell…how powerful could it be? It’s only love…’
Raven: Wonder Girl seemed to know who it was. She was about to ask when Robin caught her off guard. She stared at him for a long time. “…” She wasn’t sure if it was an honest request. Was this a sign of trust or something? Instead, she gave a simple answer. “I don’t know. I could try, but my magic might not be as strong as a Goddess. Perhaps only a small amount of people could be healed from this spell, but if you want the whole city, then it might be too much for me.” She didn’t want to mention what would happen after that. She had a feeling Robin knew. Her eyes kept staring at him, though, as if wanting to read his true motives behind that. “Do you know who it might be?” It was directed at Donna, her eyes not shifting away.
“I know…I think it’s impossible to save everyone…But we can try to do something.” Red Robin’s voice was no different from an innocent boy into a more leader motivated by conviction. “We can’t just stand by and let these people kill each other out of jealous, greed, and lust…The only other plan I have is…” Red Robin pulled darts from his belt. “Incapacitate as many people and hope to solve this problem within the next two hours..............” Red Robin didn’t seem to believe that was a good idea, but it was a solution, assuming no one was allergic to the tranquilizers. “I agree that if it’s a goddess we’re dealing with, we can’t take them down by ourselves, but there’s no one else to go to for help. We’re on our own here.”
Donna Troy: "Count me in. If anyone should take her down it should be me. If it's who I'm thinking then I'll be more than glad to teach her a lesson by Hera's hand." Donna looked at Raven. She didn't dare say the name outloud. Wonder Girl had always known that Gods and Goddesses had ears no matter where people found sanctuary. "We can do this."
Raven: She stared at him as he gave the speech and looked over at Donna. They were right. They were on their own now and nobody was going to save these people. If they had a chance, it would be this one. There had to be a way for her to help. She stared at the darts and thought of another way. “What if…” She started, pushing her thoughts of Robin aside. “What if…I work up a large spell? It would take me a while, but it’s better than those tranquilizers. People will start waking up after two hours and we might get the whole town to sleep in two hours.” She stared at him, wondering if this was even a good idea. “If there’s something back in my room that can help counter it for at least a few hours, then it’s in one of my books. I will just need certain ingredients for it.”
Red Robin listened to their thoughts and possible ideas, he smirked listening to Raven’s idea and nodded. “I like that idea…Works in DotA, well…sort of.” Red Robin was speaking about another video game that most likely neither of them heard about, which after seeing their responses he waved his hand. “Nevermind…I think it’s going to work.” He nodded some. “Let’s go back to the tower and get what we need…Encase the Goddess shows up, Donna and I can do our best to keep her distracted.” Tim stood up and was prepared to take Raven’s hand in order to teleport back to the tower, where he would immediately go to the armor in preparation for supplies he might need for battling a goddess.

Dark hallways lit with dimmed LED lights along the corridor of yellow and baby blue walls. Red heels clicked against the floor as the woman wore a white doctor’s coat. She had to see him, her heart throbbed for him as all of the girls wanted his attention, she too needed him more than them. Bursting into the room she saw him alone and finally for her. She dropped her notepad and raced to the window where she placed her hands against it. “I’ve come for you my love…” Without hesitation she opened the door green eyes of innocence looked at the man shackled to the wall, a mask upon his face. “My love, I will set you free. We can be together. We can do whatever you want…” She removed the leather strap upon his arms, unleashed the band around his neck, and soon his security lockdown straps were upon the floor and he stood before her wearing nothing more than underwear. <c>
He smiled at her and spoke sweetly. “My-my…sweet girl. So beautiful and lovely…” He caressed her hair and she felt his words seep into her heart. “My heartaches for you. It has ever since this morning…” He grinned and said. “I have just the cure for that…” Sliding to a hole within his wall he pulled out a knife, raising it he stabbed her in the chest causing blood to splatter as he rapidly stabbed and slashed her. “Oh my…That is…what I love, so much…At least until this part…” He brought the knife to his arm and began to carve a score into it………Police Radio would buzz minutes later. “Senior Detective requested at Arkham Asylum, we got a 4-26, victim is female, 28 years old. Suspect is Victor Zsasz goes by the alias Zsasz. Any detectives report in as soon as assignments available.”<c>
~The sound of the city is deafening as it’s turned from violence, screaming, shouting, loud music into silence or rather harmonic. This isn’t right and something in his stomach turns as he knows this isn’t an ordinary day. Should he contact Batman? Should he contact Tim? He wonders who he can turn to or if this is just another challenge to prove he is worthy of this heroic quest. Blue eyes fall upon a radio console in front of him. There’s trouble brewing at the encampment for the ill, he could pursue his training and quest, but he exits off and takes the highway to the Gates of Hell itself. He parks within the dark of the forest as a scent foreign to him and yet bitter sweet fill his nostrils, but he focuses on the mission and the lives he must save. He puts on his costume within the shadows before making his next move.~
Batgirl: Barbara Gordon frowned at her scanner, sipping from her smoothie at her desk. Did she just hear that right? Leaning forward, she shoved the smoothie aside and turned up the scanner and listened intently. Before the dispatcher was even finished listing the name of the assailant, she was shoving back her rolling chair and heading for the closet. Zsasz was a nasty piece of work, one she hadn't personally tangled with but one she knew was dangerous. And a madman. She donned her suit before pulling on her yellow gauntlets and boots Her red curls sprung out the back of her cowl, blue eyes hard through the mask as she crawled out her window and onto the fire escape. Tapping the calling beacon on her belt, the batpod roared to life and started its way toward her.
Batgirl: The Batgirl made her way down the levels, turning over the railing, backflipping down onto the next landing and riding the moving ladder down until she landed in the alley. Her boots landed with a quiet thud on the pavement just as the batpod roared up to her side, growling as it waited. She mounted it swiftly and revved it to life, listening to it purr with excitement before she tore off toward Arkham. The night was young, but there had been strange repots already kicking up, nothing quite so lethal but just strange occurences. It wasn't a full moon, so the raised blood pressure that usually suited it wasn't the cause, but she was sure she'd figure it out sooner or later.
Batgirl: The piece in her ear rang through as she tuned it to the GCPD police radio, listening as her father's voice responded that he was busy and ordering other units out until he could report. Good, less time around Zsasz meant her father might be safer, though Gotham couldn't really be counted as safer. Several minutes later, the batpod pulled into the shadows of the Asylum, aiding her in disappearing amongst the trees and darkness as she cut the engine and dismounted, taking in the scene. There were three police cars out front, red and blue lights blazing and reflecting against the windows of the wretched Asylum. The units were empty, meaning she could only assume their men were inside working alongside security to handle Zsasz.
Batgirl: Though, she prayed the dispatcher was accurate, a murder and not an escape. She inhaled with the thought and heard the wet, soft sounds of the leaves under her boots as she ringed the forest's edge toward the side of the building. But when she breathed in she frowned, smelling something rather bitter and yet sweet. That was strange, she couldn't recall smelling anything of the sort here before. She pulled free her tech pad from her belt and put on an aerial scan, searching for any abnormalities that could be of harm. -e-
~Blue eyes narrow upon the woman, she is familiar, a disciple to the Knight of Gotham, one of his loyalists and oldest companions in his quest to rid this city of evil, like the evil that this unholy ground housed. His attention is taken from the sound of cannons erupting as two gunmen race out the front doors of the asylum and towards the disciple. Short and round men standing at 5’9” each bouncing with their steps, he wonders where is the security? Why are the residence equipped with such volatile equipment? He watches them for as long as he can bear as they shoot weapons into the air while racing at her. He faces a curious dilemma; they haven’t hurt anyone yet, but can he risk them hurting her? He no longer ponders as they close distance and their eyes lock onto her figure with sinister grins.~ <c>
“HALT!” ~He shouts and a pillar of flames erect from his sleeve as he dives upon the man known as Tweedledee, his brother Tweedledum is focused upon the Disciple until the words come from the flaming knight.~ “RETURN TO YOUR PRISON OR FACE ATONEMENT FROM AZRAEL!!!” ~Without hesitation he strikes slashing the first bumbling man’s weapon causing ammunition to fall upon the ground, somewhere in this moment gunshots went off and pecked at his chest, this whole caused those eyes of red to flare with unamusement.~
Batgirl: Gunshots rang out along with two sets of heavy footsteps belonging to what could only be heavyset men. Sure enough, Barbara turned her attention as they ran at her, calling out and firing off their weapons. "Is that really necessary?" She said softly, knowing they very well couldn't hear her as she tucked the tech pad away too soon to get results and taking the initiative toward them just as she a loud voice made her jerk and spin to find Azazel coming after the men. Fire lit up the dark night away from the bright lights on the Asylum, spitting across the sky and causing heat that she could feel even from several lengths away. Blue eyes watched wide as he took on the guards, before she blinked and snapped into action, running for the men. She heard bullets ricochet off his armored chest and saw the red flare of his eyes.
Batgirl: Batgirl pushed off hard from the ground, throwing her booted foot out to the guard just as his ammunition made a second bounce on the ground. Her boot collided hard into his sternum, sending him hurtling back with a hard exhale as the wind left him in a rush. Barb's other boot caught the ground, springing her after him as she pulled out a small dart, shoving it into his neck and back into her belt, the sleeping agent hitting him so fast he didn't manage to get out a word before unconsciousness took him under. She stood from him and spun, facing Azazel and the other guard, blue eyes watching him warily as the black and yellow of her cape fluttered in a circle before swaying at her ankles. "Fancy fireworks." she commented softly, body still bent and ready for more action though she was sure he could handle one man. -e-
~He stares at her, blonde hair flowing behind him with his sword of righteousness flaring the area as a beacon against evil. He speaks to her holding back his anger, his thirst for vengeance.~ “I…am Azrael. You’re, Batgirl? I did not think anyone of Batman’s people would come here, the city has been very quiet…” ~His gaze settles upon the grounded men and he knows his job.~ “We must bind them and leave them for the guards of this facility.” ~Sheathing his weapon within his arm he uses his great strength to pick up both of the lumbering thugs and drag them to a fence where he handcuffs them to its iron bars. He looked over his shoulders and for a moment he imagines a woman unknown to him, and she is beautiful. His lips frown and he shrugs the burden off.~ “Would you allow me to accompany you? Arkham Asylum is dangerous; I can watch your back.”<c>
~He is aware she has seniority, more experience than he does on detective cases, after all he was just an assassin. He stands aside allowing her to lead, dignified like a knight standing in attention, though his head out of protocol as it hunched to see her once more, reminding him of not a noble, but of a princess without a guard. He doesn’t understand it as right or wrong, simply an obligation and duty he must uphold with his position.~

Batgirl's blue eyes from behind the cowl warmed and seemed to brighten, or perhaps it was the lights from the Asylum changing the shade of ocean blue that they were. Like twin pools of clear water surrounding the coral reef, those eyes watched him carefully, her lips turning to smile softly. She was a detective, like her father and mentor, and here for duty, not play. But the woman in her tilted her head slightly as she smiled at him warmly, passing him to enter the insides of the gated facility. "How congenial." She said softly, inhaling as she walked past him and toward the stone building. He smelled primarily man, husky and thick that seemed all too saddening when the scent left her nose. Batgirl checked the perimeter and the door, still unmatched as it had been damaged by the thugs trying to attack them. Seeing it was clear, she entered carefully, scanning the mirrors at every corner to ensure there wasn't a surprise waiting as she mentally checked the map of Arkham. She'd been in here several times, helping Batman take in a criminal or doing such herself, but it wasn't a perfect world for her to recall every duct and turn without looking to her Pad. If Zsasz was free, he was probably holed up where he deemed safe and in a corner, perhaps the security wing if he'd gotten that far. But he wasn't like The Joker to travel confidently and without a care. Either way, she wanted to check in with security to know where they stood, as well as to confirm her suspicions. Turning a corner toward her destination, she softly spoke over her shoulder, lips barely visible past the set of red curls, "So what beings you here, Azrael? It's not every day Gotham gets fireworks like yours." Though she had to admit, the flaming sword was pretty neat.

~Her gaze was inspirational, those blue eyes beneath her mask was fused with beauty and innocence forged in the magma of pain and tempered with wisdom. The Knight would fight for people like her the epitome of chivalry was their crusade right now. A damsel struck down by a coward, preying upon the weak and hiding away from his sins. They would bring the unjust to justice and he never doubted for a moment victory would be achieved. She wanted to go to the security wing and faithfully he followed, his eyes tracing the walls, searching for anything that might attempt to harm them.~ “I was responding to the distress the asylum sent out. Victor Zsasz is no ordinary criminal psychopath. The police are likely to shoot him on sight if they are unable to subdue him…According to Batman’s files, Zsasz prefers hostages and every moment the police spend negotiating or organizing a hostage rescue could be less time the hostages have until eventually Zsasz will kill them.”

She nodded, lips a firm line as she peered around a corner, ensuring it was safe before rounding it and picking up her pace. He was right of course, but her mine didn't flow to thinking about the case or plotting a plan, it did, however, stray to the sound of his voice. She found herself picking up on how he pronounced each syllable. She resisted the urge to turn her head and watch his lips move as he spoke softly to her, a distraction she didn't need to engage in further. Resisting felt like more effort than it should have been. Having him just behind her, following her every turn with utter dedication, made her feel the sudden realization that she very much was a woman and he was very much a man. She'd never felt so female, so fragile despite her strength. The feeling was warm shelter, something like knowing, without a word, that should someone attack, he would find his way between her and danger. It was comforting, despite how little she knew of him, and usually even if it were one of the Family, she'd thank them quietly and take care of herself. But the idea of Azrael doing such made her just feel warm and safe.
Blue eyes glanced at the corner mirror on the wall and her body jerked to a stop against the wall, cape swaying softly against tile. Her arm threw up to his chest lightly in I stint as she watched the mirror, four inmates, armed with security-issue guns. "The entrance to the security wing is the doors behind them." Her voice whispered softly, trained eyes focused and sharp. She suddenly realized she was still holding her gauntlet to his chest and pulled it away, blinking and glancing at him. "How good are you at dodging bullets?"
