Noon June 26th 2015, the sky goes completely black at 12:08 Eastern time the sun was completely blacked out , but not an eclipse. Just gone completely yet gravity held keeping the planets in alignment. Which meant that just the light from the sun was blocked. The clouds shifted covering the sky making it even darker. Fire began to fall from the sky like rain in certain areas. Red lightning streaked across the sky. As a larger human sized fireball struck the ground in Gotham slamming into the pavement and leaving a large crater. When the smoke cleared all that remained was a the burned and battered body of Doctor Fate unconscious smoke pouring off of his costume. It was unknown how he came to be here, perhaps fighting an interdimensional being more powerful than him. A field of energy prevented anyone from entering the crater. A scorching ray capable of melting steel .
Villainess: On a cliff on the west back of the Gotham River was the old abandoned observatory, left vacant after accidents and no funding. Abandoned but not vacant. A security guard runs into the observatory to a room off to the side. The room is dark, lit only by candles. "Mistress! Mistress! You need to see this!" Slowly a lithe pale shape appears in the darkness a woman with skin the color of a pale white moon. The woman sits up from chasie lounge she was resting on, she is clad in a slinky black dress. "Roger, as I said before you do not have to watch over me... but what is this news you bring for me? Are those kids here again with their graffiti to mar my refuge from the day's sun?" she starts to put on glittering diamonds and gold belt made of cresents. "No mistress! That's just it, the sun is gone!" Natalia Knight's eye's grow wide. "No..." she rushes out to the grand door of the observatory and gasps.
Villainess: It was dark, so beatuifully dark, showing all of her stars as streaks of flame rain down over gotham. "Night... for once it is night at noon..." she smiles and it quickly fades. "But what is night without any day? how can anyone enjoy the splendors of the night, if there is no garish daylight to contrast it..." she looks at the guard. "Roger, prepare my balloon just in case." she then steps back into dark observatory and readies the telescope, she had to figure out what was going on!
Lux a bar in Los Angeles owned by an charismatic powerful man, who seemed to be a simple piano playing bar owner was closed at this time of day as it was 9:09 am on the West coast. The windows were blacked out, but Lucifer felt the sun’s disappearance, after all it was created by his power. He continues playing his piano he changed his song instantly playing a drastically differently tune” They’re locking up the sun, the light of reason’s gone, and hope has been successfully undone, the questions burning on, where is it coming from, and no one seems to know the monster born..”
Villainess: The pale woman wrote notes, as she looked through here telescope, there was nothing. It wasn't an eclipse, it wasn't a cloud of space dust. She noted how the stars she expected were everywhere, except where she expected them to be behind the sun. It was like the sun was black, as if somone painted it so it no longer shined. The sun wasn't gone, it just wasn't glowing. This seemed wrong. a star just didn't go out like that, snuffed out like a candle, leaving just it's black wick behind. She wondered how long it would take before the world started to cool down with out the sun's radition. She started to write down some calculations on a piece of paper.
The amber eyes of the devil glared at the bar in front of him angered by the arrogance of whoever did this. To Lucifer this was the equilivant of calling him out. Someone with enough power to black out the sun, but not destroy it to snuff out it’s flame but leave the mass their, the gravity. Lucifer placed both hands on the bar.He closed his hand smoke rolling from his nostrils. The Devil wasn’t happy at all with this act of arrogance. Surly whoever did this didn’t think they stood a chance. He thought that perhaps this wasn’t to call him out, perhaps it was for the Kryptonian.. but wh would they take away his power source if they wanted to call him out. No whoever did this was capable of blocking Lucifer’s Omniscience to a point. To keep their identities concealed .
Villainess: The greenhouse gasses would keep the planet warm for few hours, but it was hard to know how much time they had. She didn't know anyone powerful to do anything like black out a sun, it was beyond her understanding of science. She was certain that the justice league would realize what had happened. And she did know a few members who lived in
gotham whom she could share her finiding and perhaps help them. But now she was more interested in the raining fire from the sky, coming down like blood from night sky. She gathered her notes and went to change, putting on a tight fitting black leotard with tights that seemed to sparkle like stars, she put on some more jewerly to accent it with her belt, a pearl necklace among wit some moon cresecent shaped earrings. she went over to the large hot airballoon and nodded to Roger who was putting some telescopes and light measuring equipment into the basket of the balloon. He panicked as she climbed in.<c>
Villainess: "Mistress... please don't do this. It's too dangerous!" She reached over and caressed his cheeks. "Don't worry Roger I will return, I have to do this to save my beautiful night
so that others may enjoy it like I do. Wait here and protect the observatory. Release the ropes." and with that she drifted into the sky.
