Black Canary: Everyone in the world knows about the Watch Tower. The Watch Tower is the command center, resource
station, base, training facility, and hub for the Justice League.
It has it's own dedicated support staff that runs the basic operations and supports the Justice League.
Solar Corridors - The large solar panels on either side of the sattelite that provide the main source of energy for the Tower. With corridors down the middle of them to allow people to manually adjust the solar panels or take space walks to specific sections of the panels to make repairs.
It features 32 floors. (from top to bottom)
Communications Array - The top 3 floors are attenae, sattelite dishes, and a long range space telescope. as well as the encrypted networ to communicate with the Justice League Earpieces.
Observation Deck - a large glass enclosed roome that allows spectacular views of earth and the rest of our solar system.
Control Room and Monitor Womb - 3 floors of communications, auxillary controls for engineering, and access to The BRAIN. There is a monitor room that constantly streams updates and information for all to see.
Hall of Justice - The large meeting room for all matters of discussion and council for the leage to take place in. It also has serperate rooms for private councils, and meeting rooms. It also has the grand hall for welcoming guests that come up from the Teleporation and Shuttle Bay Floors.
Shuttle bay - a floor that allows access to docking ports for incoming shuttles. It also houses the Javelins and other spacecraft the League uses.
Teleportation - a floor that seperately houses the teleportation equipment and main teleportation pads. There are two auxilarrly teleportation pads hooked up to this floor. One in the Control Room and one in Engineering.
The BRAIN - 3 floors that house a series of servers that processes and monitors all of the worlds crime and news databases as well as the Justice League's own secure database, using the communications array to pinpoint crimes in progress to aid the Justice league in their investigations.
Reserach and Medical Labs - a Floor that houses both the medical labs/hospital of the Justice League as well as labs for research and analysis.
Armory - a floor which houses all of the weapons of the watch tower.
Gymnasium/Sauna/Pool - a series of gymnasiums, fitness rooms, Pool, and saunas for the heroes to exercise and train.
Training - A floor of combat rooms, simulators, and obstical courses for the heroes to train in.
Cafeteria and Recreation - A floor that houses the cafeteria as well lots spaces to relax talk, and play games.
Living Quarters - 8 floors of personal rooms for personal and the league to live in when they are at the watch tower. The top floor is reserved for guests.
Security - a highly secure floor that cannot be accessed by teleportation which houses a security team, and a series of high security prision cells designed to hold the most dangerous people in the universe.
Engineering - the last floor before Systems It houses the systems and controls for all of station's engineering and systems.
Systems - 4 floors which make up guts of the Watch tower, the turbines, engines, air systems, waste processing, and water systems.
There are stairways that run from to bottom. the only ones not connected and need to be entered by seperate doors are from the communicatons array to the observation deck and engineering to the Systems floors.
Main Elevators - 3 main elevators that take people from Observation Deck down to Security.
Engineering elevators - 2 elevators from Engineering to the Systems floors.
The Watch Tower hovers over the earth monitoring all the crime and international crisises all over the world. Everything was about as one expected, everythign you see on the news and a lot more that often goes unnoticed. With no warning, red lights flash and alerts appear on every screen, 'Alpha Alert'.
An 'Alpha Alert' has never been reported before. A crisis that requires all heroes to report to the Watchtower. The Control Rooms, BRAIN, and telporter systems syncrhonize to track all of the heroes and start beaming them all onto the Watch Tower. Announcements to go the Hall of Justice are heard over the loud speakers, along with messages for the Watch Tower staff to report to their stations.
It isn't clear yet what is triggering the Alpha Alert, but apparently the system would debrief everyone in the Hall of Justice.
Green Lantern: Rolling his head and cracking his neck, Hal lifted his head up off of the couch and looked around. "What...
is... that... BEEPING!?" Another groan slipped out as he started slapping his hand around his pockets before he ended up
rolling off of the couch, 'WHOA!" and onto the floor. A loud thud shot through the room as his body hit the floor and another
groan came from the man. Finally reaching into his jacket pocket, Hal pulled out the card and stared at it. "Oh... that...."
Inhaling deeply, he pushed himself up from the floor and wiped the sleep from his eyes. *Four hours of sleep... after a twenty
four hour day... and I might be headed for another one. Wonderful...* Yawning, the Ring on his middle right finger glowed
brightly and a line of green, glowing energy surrounded his the tip of his head and shot down, covering him in his Green Lantern
uniform. *I need coffee.* He gave a shake of his head and darted out of his apartment, surrounding in a field of energy that let
him -
Green Lantern: both phase through the ceiling as well as keep him invisible from sight. The trip up to the Watchtower was
made quickly, but as he made his wya to the command deck, the Lantern also had a quick detour by the cafeteria from a
pick-me-up cup of java. The doors slid open as he walked in, taking a long sip of the drink while his gaze flicked around,
"Alright, so what's the big emergency? Alien ship appearing? Terrorists holding up the Federal Reserve? That Luthor guy that's
always on T.V. found a way to make his hair grow back?"
Oracle: Fall in Gotham always seemed more eerie than anywhere else. The orange Christmas lights rimming windows and
porches, pumpkins set out and jack-o-lanterns aglow, Halloween decor starting up already as fall settled in. Barbara had left
the window cracked to let in the chilly air and sat in her chair at the counter, sipping from her tea as it warmed her under her
hoodie. The taste of the honey she’d added flavored each sip and she leaned back as she enjoyed it. This time of the year
always brought out more crime, the rates exponentially higher than the rest of the year, especially near the full moon of the
month. Yet, tonight she wasn’t soley stuck with the chatter and crackle of the scanner. It had been decently quiet tonight, a
couple of muggings and a break in or two, all well handled. However, in mid-sip, it all changed.
Oracle: The Batcomputer screamed loudly at her from across the studio-like apartment in the clock tower. Her blue eyes
snapped to the set up of eight monitors lined up, red flashing as the alert went off continuously. Oracle made her way to the
desk and sifted her eyes through the information. An alert, not just any alert, it was from the Brain, the Justice League’s Watch
Tower computer. Really, she wasn’t supposed to have access, she wasn’t affiliated with the Justice League in any other way
than that her mentor was a part of it. But Barbara had always been too inquisitve for her own good, and the things Batman dealt
with involving the Justice League could lead him to great danger. She didn’t want to miss a second if something happened and
he went missing, or worse.
Oracle: She slipped her feed to the Brain on screen and connected herself to a situation that may or may not require her
assistance.(e)
Wonder Woman: Diana's head perked up, her eyes opening. She hadn't been sleeping, but meditating, praying to the
Goddesses and the Lord of Olympus. Something had felt... off... the last few days. She had been hiding it from everyone,
Dinah, Donna, Hal... She felt guilty doing that, but something told her this wasn't to be shared. Never the less, the feeling was
to be left alone for the time being as something more important required her attention, and the attention of everyone else.
Hopefully the meeting would pick up quick enough Hal wouldn't be able to ask why she had been avoiding him. The
teleportation technology still made her feel a little sick, but seeing as she was still not entirely convinced she was fully space
safe, it seemed like the best idea. The dizzying tingles hit her body and she felt reality shift and in a few short seconds she
was aboard the Watchtower. All around her alarms blared and lights flashed, people quickly walked, not ran, from terminal to
terminal, and Diana headed
Wonder Woman: straight for the central Hall for her debriefing. An alert of this magnitude had never been called before, and
given some of the things they had dealt with, that said a lot. -e-
The large display screens turned from showing the Watch Tower default screen to a recording. It showed an outside view of the Watchtower. A voice could be heard.
"Hello Justice league." said a familiar voice to some. "To all of the diffent ilks of heroes, researchers, staff, and janitors. I wanted to give you a courtesy announcement! I am the Riddler. And you are all part of a new game. The Watchtower's systems are mine. It took me awhile to get pass all your security systems, but with my genius, it was mere child's play. You will find that all of the security systems have been turned on. What does that mean? It means every floor is locked off from the others and the Elevators are shutdown. You can use the stairs, but the doors leading from them require you to answer a riddle.
Note, if you can phase through walls or leave the watch station, that's against the rules! The weapons array on the watchtower has been activated without the saftey proticals. So you will be fired upon and if it misses you it will hit the Watch Tower and could kill your friends. So please follow the rules.
And just to make sure you aren't lonely, I have unlocked all the cells in your Security Sector. Don't worry, they have been given some of the answers so they can go between the floors. I hope you find them before they destroy everything. Before I let you go. I have a riddle for you.
What is so fragile that saying it's name breaks it?
And then the feed disolved into static before turning off.
Oracle would suddenly see the answer to the riddle. Her connection was cut off. Doing a search on her systems, she would find that all communications to and from the watch tower had been shut off. Silence.
Green Lantern: Hal's eyes flicked over to Diana when he saw her enter the room. He opened his mouth to speak but the
sudden darkness that overtook the room shut out any chance of his ability to say anythin. The setting made him immediately
think that ol dark and gloom was going to come striding in, bark orders like a chihuahua with a bit pull voice communicator, and
then stride out. A sigh touched his lips as he sat back and took another drink from his cup, the warm liquid heating his insides
as the cafeen finally started to do its job and kick in. When the voice came, the Lantern tilted his head to the side, listening as
each word made his face grow harder and sterner. Fuly awake now, Hal's hold on his cup's handle was tight as his Ring
started to glow a bit as his willpower and emotions began to flow. "Bastard..." he muttered to himself. standing up as he
started to head for the door right before the riddle came. "You've... got to be kidding me. Silence? That's the best you've got."
Oracle: Riddler’s voice cut through her headset and she immediately paused, listening carefully to his every word. Edward
Nigma had a habit of hiding clues in everything he said, even when he wasn’t speaking an actual riddle. That had always been
his way, everything was a riddle even when it wasn’t. After listening to his words for a moment, she went into diving into the
connection she had. She needed to see who was there, needed to see if the Justice League members were indeed aboard the
tower. But before she could get anywhere, she hit a wall. Someone had shut down every link to outside eyes prying in on the
tower’s security, the cameras, the motion sensors, the activation for even the ventilation system, all kept behind a thick wall.
And before she could tap into it, his riddle rang out clear and in her mind, she answered just as his action did. Silence. The
feed halted, silenced. The link she had forged with the Brain was gone, completely obliterated. He’d not only shut her out, he’d
cut
Oracle: the cord she’d had to it.
Her teeth clenched and she set up another attempt to reconnect, once the call was sent out, the network trying to find the
Brain and make it respond, she turned to another monitor. Everything involving the internet usually brought it back to an IP
address. She needed it. Where was Edward Nigma? Most likely in Gotham, but hacking into the tower might mean he would
take extra precautions to hide himself further and perhaps out of Batman’s jurisdiction. As that search ran, she connected with
her link into Gotham’s power supply plant. If Nigma was using a high frequency generator or alternated electronics, it was
possible she could find him like a glowing bulb amongst a field of Christmas lights.(e)
Wonder Woman: Dinah and Hal were already assembled by the time she got to the room, and it was with an awkward gance
that she looked at Hal and tried to avoid Dinah's questions about if everything was going okay. Diana might be the only person
assembled who was -relieved- when the villain known as the Riddler took control of the meeting. If nothing else, it would distract
from the fact that she had been withdrawing from her friends. She looked at Hal as he got the first clue but her attention was
drawn else where, at first attributing the screams to the escaped prisoners, but none of them would be breaking -in- through the
hull. "We have a breach! Hull has been breached! Repeat!" then static. Her eyes looked to Hal, hoping he'd have some clue as
to what was going on, but her vision was cut short by the lights going out, only the green glow from the Lantern power ring. Or
at least, for a few moments it was the only one, before a bright, purpleish pink glow came from down the hall. "Great Gaea,
What
Wonder Woman: is..---!?" Her words were cut short as the pink gem shot through the darkness, hitting Diana between the
eyes, right centre where the red gem of her tiara was, knocking the Amazon backwards, dazed for a moment. -e-
Dinah wathced the feed and frowned. "Great, we're stuck in here." she smirked at Hal. "At least you got that one figured out, I imagine it has something to do with comms." she then heard an intercom report get cut short and several loud sounds. she hoped that the defense system wouldn't target them. and then there was a bright light about diana. it was pink and bright and... "What on earth?" she stood up. "Um are you okay Diana?"
She waited for a response, but she couldn't wait, she had to see what was going on.
she tried to access the computer in the hall and was shut out. "I can't talk to anyone there..." she tapped her ear piece and only those in the room she was in could hear her. "Yeah, this is a mess." she tried the elevator even though the message said it would be out. "Okay I"m going downstairs, we have to make sure we know who is in the prison cells and try to get them undercontrol, the security team could be in trouble down there." she opened the door and started to go downstairs.
Meanwhile Oracle's attempt panned out, looking at the power grid for Gotham, she found a bunker, a closed subway station that was sucking in a lot of power. apparently all of Nigma's tools and protections was taking up a lot of energy.Knowing this, she could narrow down the IP addresses for that area and if she contacted it she would encounter a hefty firewall. her screens started to blacken out, one after another. it was attacking her systems! or at least trying to make her focus on him. a green message appeared in the middle of one of them.
I lose a head in the morning.
But get it back at night.
What am I?
Green Lantern: "No..." he whispered as that horror from his past suddenly appeared through the wall and struck her, "no no
no..." It couldn't. Not Diana. Not her. Carol had suffered through this hell before... and now it had come for Diana. His insides
wrenched like they were thrown into a blender that was but on puree and a sickness punched so hard at his gut that he felt like
he could vomit. "Dinah... Dinah run right now...." His Power Ring began to glow brightly, aura surrounding his body causing
him to shine like a bright, green beacon in the darkness. "Get out of here!" he shouted again while his eyes, hidden behind the
white of his mask, fixed themselves on Wonder Woman as she stood dazed. It was here again for him.. like some bad
nightmare that you could never escape. That still haunted you no matter how old you got. Like some sick demented sin that
you could never run from.
Oracle: She watched the massive power emitting from the undergound tunnel in Gotham. “Gotcha.” The redhead patched
through to find out which breaker ti was connected to just as her screens blackened out. Barbara sucked in a breath, he was
hacking her! She wished him luck, no one had hacked her systems properly in quite a long time, and Nigma wasn’t as good as
she was with computers. However, that didn’t mean he couldn’t slow her down or distract her. And she was sure the riddle
popping up on her screen was just that, a distraction. Oracle pulled up a seperate laptop and worked through there as she
killed his connection to her system and they rebooted to redirect and set up a new firewall or two. From Oracle with love, she
sent the response to his riddle. “Pillow.” One word, it would show across all his screens...then blank out his view of whatever he
was working on. She hadn’t fully hacked his firewall yet, but she could at least distract on her own. And the man couldn’t
possibly resist a
Oracle: riddle.
“What always runs, but never walks? Often murmurs, never talks? Has a bed but never sleeps? Has a mouth, but never eats?”
With the riddle sent, she pushed deeper into his firewalls and finding the breaker his IP address was connected to. She’d need
someone on the ground to get to him while they matched wits. She put a finger to her headset and connected to Dinah’s link.
“Canary.” Nothing. The link wasn’t even open. So he was blocking her from that, which mean that Dinah was most likely on the
tower. No feet on the ground from her for now. Barbara got to work connecting to what she could of the tower, finding the Brain
shut down. But that didn’t mean she couldn’t bring up feed of her own if she could get passed his riddles. (e)
Wonder Woman: The pink flash of light consumed Diana as she laid on the floor, covering her in an opac, blinding light for a
few moments. When the light faded her red, white and blue armour was replaced with Star Sapphire colours, an even skimpier
outfit, a high white colour and bright pink fabric covering her arms, breasts, the golden W remaining across her chest and hips.
"Nnng," she said, her head tilting to the side then back straight as the Amazon pushed herself into a seated position.
Something felt... different. Inspite of the danger, she seemed extremly... distracted. There was something else, something
more important even than her friends being in danger and the fate of thousands, if not millions, of lives below. Not to mention
the countless billions in the galaxy who might suffer if Hal wasn't able to get to them. Hal... her eyes focussed on him.
The Clown He is my least favorite anyway. Not even killing him fixed things.
Dinah looked at hal as she actually saw him get scared for the first time she could remember, she heard tales about a bad ex-girl friend, but... but it couldn't be a glowing stone right? she looked at Diana worried, seeing her engulfed in light. she hoped what ever was goign on, would be okay. she was strong and strong willed, she hoped the gods were watching over her. she knew she was needed elsewhere and Hal wanted her out of there! so she did as he said and ran. going towards the stairs, she had to fix the watch tower anyhow, and stop some escaped villains.
Meanwhile in a little fortress built in an abandoned subway station a thin figure in a green jacket was grinning like mad as he saw his automated systems block an intruder. Somebody trying to hack his system, not today! And then he saw it. someone was hacking him! he typed furiously to stop it. but he was too late. he got the answer to his own riddle and then a new one.
He huffed at it. "Everyone knows the answer to that one is River!" he typed it in. only to encounter...
"Minesweeper! why am I stuck in minesweeper!" Edward screeched as he started to solve the puzzle, grinning at his own brilliance.
Barb would then find that with him distracted he wouldn't be able to use his counter measures to stop her from hacking his computer. once again, his own dependency on himself was his weakness.
Oracle would find she now had a connection to the Watch Tower! she could access the comms the security cameras, but none of the internal systems yet. She saw a comms communication to the Brain and it was offline, if it was turned on it would automatically start checking and starting up more systesm in the watch tower.
Dinah started to run down flight after flight of stairs, she did need to get her daily workout! but wasn't planning on this. she could easily be found by her comm and the cameras.
Oracle: Oracle smirked at her computer, Nigma was easily planned for. He wasn’t the Joker, predictably unpredictable, and his
faults were his skills. Give a man a quiz and he’ll need to solve it, give him a series of them with riddles involved to earn back
his firewall while she hacked it? And he’d be too slow to catch up to her. He might have been good with riddles, but she was
better with technology. She took the time to hack into his system behind the curtain, finding the link to the Brain. From what
she had, she couldn’t bring the Brain back up just yet, but she could get some things up and running and control them herself.
Oracle transferred the power to do so into her system and set up yet another firewall. Getting hacked was a surefire way to
piss her off.
Oracle: Once she had control, Barbara turned up the lights and brought up the security cameras as she tried Dinah’s comm
again, releasing the communications bar. “Canary, Oracle here, come in.”(e)
Nigma got through mindsweeper to get another riddle, then he got pong! he frowned. "I was never good at this stupid game, it is all eye-hand coordination, no mind work needed!"
She was able to slowly get certain parts of the BRAIN back up, slowly getting parts of it running. But she was able to get into a few systems that the Riddler had been using. One being cameras and another, comms in the watch tower!
Dinah grins as she answers her earpiece, hearing the redhead's voice. "Barb! thank god, I was afraid no body would be able to hear us. I'm sure you know what is going on. I"m trying to get down to the Security floor to put some villians back in their pens. Can you access the cameras down there? I want to know what I'm in for."
Barb would see all of the guards knocked out in the guard station. one of the cells was open and she saw something move. looking at it she saw a shadow, but that was all.

started to head for the door right before the riddle came. "You've... got to be kidding me.
