So far in [DCU] there have been a total of 5 Earth's introduced through RP. Here I'll break them down for everyone reading.
The Multiversity - When you are approved of RPing in DCU you are thrown into this generic "Chatroom category" where you can RP with anyone willing in DCU. Consider this your own "continuity" between you and your partners. If you want to RP in a canon storyline of a specific Earth, then you'll need approval of the coordinators below. Once they approve of you joining their Earth, then you're good to go!
Note: specific groups might have higher standards or particular criteria they expect from their players. Ask the contact persons below for more info.
Earth 1 - The First [DCU] Justice League group, its Founding JLA members are Batman, Superman, Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, and Black Canary.
Contact Superman
Earth 2 - The "Alternate" universe of Earth 1, Earth 3, and Earth 4. In it's future timeline, Earth 2 is also the era of Terry McGinnis as "Batman Beyond." Batman Beyond's timeline changed when in the past, Bruce Wayne is killed therefore Terry McGinnis never becomes Batman. During an Earth 1 story known as "Old Tides" a cosmic entity combined Earth 2's history into the multiverse in order to spare themselves defeat. The event hasn't affected cosmic beings, but has affected mortals and Gods. This merger between Earth's resulted in Earth 2's destruction.
Contact Lois Lane
Earth 3 - Is the Crime Syndicate Earth. Essentially the counterpart and alternate version of the Justice League, rather than fighting for Justice, each leader is a crime lord who have cut out a piece of the world to serve their own interest.
Contact Wonder Woman (E1)
Earth 4 - Is a new Earth focused on the rise of Superheroes in the DC universe, it is separate from all other Earth's except Earth 2. Batman has expected standards he wants from his players, but also grants freedom to explore your characters in this new setting.
Contact Batman (E4)
Earth 48 - An alternate universe where Heroes were never created and humanity lost all hope, faith, and belief in God allowing demonic forces to overtake the world and plunge it into darkness. Lex Luthor of Earth 48 was able to open a dimensional gate and bring Earth 1's Justice League to help fight against the demonic legions and restore Earth to its human population and restore hope to its remaining survivors.
Contact None, was created for RP purposes.
Earth 66 - An alternate universe where the culture, architecture, and fashion/style is a lot like the 1960s. Men dress in suits, women wear heels and skirts. But this Earth is different, the colors seem brighter, everything is stylized and dramatic, almost humorously so. Most people have a strong sense of civic pride and duty. Technology is literally blinking lights and buttons. Fantastic gadgets which don't seem to work anywhere else exhist here. While technology from other worlds even seem to behave unexpectedly. Heroes always have aliases; and all heroes and villians have vibrant costumes. Villains always have henchmen to do their dirty work, but violence rarely escalates to murder. There are unspoken rules about how to handle crime and civilians, like a code. Colored knockout gas and trap doors are often used by villians, along with elaborate schemes and traps. It is a very unique and vibrant world.
