Powers / Abilities
(List as many as you need)
Black Adam, like Captain Marvel, has been gifted with powers and abilities that at least match, if not exceed, Billy's. Unlike Marvel, Adam is empowered by six of the Egyptian gods that are exemplars of the six attributes instead of the wizard Shazam. His powers are magical in that it was the wizard Shazam who originally provided the link but divine as they come from the gods themselves.
Shu (stamina) grants him immortality, nigh invulnerability, inexhaustible stamina, and allows him to survive without sleep, food, or even air by sustaining him with the magical energies coursing through his body. He is incredibly resistant to all forms of damage and only the strongest of physical and magical attacks can damage him. If he is injured, Adam is able to instantly heal up from minor wounds and quickly from greater. Shu is the Egyptian god of the air, whose name means “he who rises up”.
Heru (speed) grants him the ability to move, fly, and fight at speeds fast enough to make beings without any beyond human speed will appear stateless in an atmosphere up to subliminal speeds, on par with and possibly matching Superman. In space, he is capable of all movement at beyond light speeds. This empowerment also makes him immune to the effects of extreme height and allows his mind to register and process fast enough to act while while moving at his highest speeds. Heru is the Egyptian god of the sky and victory personified.
Amon (strength) grants him his phenomenal level of strength far above 100,000 tons; he can easily bend steel, punch his way through most barriers, and lift tremendous amounts of weight. The height of Adam's strength places him on equal level with that of Superman and Captain Marvel if not outmatching them. Amon is considered the king of the Egyptian gods, a god of virility and the ‘breath of life’.
Zehuti (wisdom) grants him access to vast knowledge of both the magical and mundane such as science and mathematics to warfare and combat. He can simply ‘know’ appropriate knowledge for a situation, and be counseled as to the best course of action for others however he has voiced distrust in the the words of the Gods. Black Adam’s senses are phenomenally sharp as well, though nowhere near the level of Superman’s. Zehuti, or Thoth, is the Egyptian god of magic and writing, whose magical powers were so great, that those who read the 'Book of Thoth', became the most powerful magician in the world.
Aton (power) grants him the magical lightning through which he transforms. It can be used as a weapon by calling and then dodging or otherwise avoiding direct contact or by projecting it from his body. When desired, Adam can channel this ability into bolts of energy and magical lightning from his fingertips. This power allows provides his ability to fly and may be used to further enhance his physical abilities and attributes to the point that he equal to a god, although he rarely resorts to such. The lightning bolt may also be used to teleport to the Rock of Eternity. Aton is the Egyptian god of the solar disk and of creation itself.
Mehen (courage) grants him a level of inner strength to match the gods including superhuman resistance to psychic manipulation, or any form of mind control. Mehen, or “one who is coiled” is the serpent god who fought the demon Apep to protect the sun.
Even with all of his power, as a man Teth-Adam has phenomenal determination, mental toughness, and nerves of steel. He was a highly capable warrior before being chosen as the first champion of Shazam. The empowerment only made him an even more dangerous foe for his enemies and, unlike many heroes and some villains of the modern age, he has centuries of experience wielding and using his powers.
Weaknesses
(List as many as you need)
Pride and Arrogance -
Anger - Although normally normally at boiling point, Adam manages his emotions very well. However, if something should cause him to explode, he will charge ahead with no planning or skill applied, instead applying brute force to whatever is in his way. This can leave him vulnerable to traps. However, one must understand that those in his way can very well be like manikins in the path of a fully loaded, runaway freight train.
Magic - Magic can affect him, but it takes mystical abilities of high level mystics to do so (Zatanna, the Spectre, Doctor Fate).

Audition post
The torch lit the way of the otherwise pitch black corridor. Above him lay hundreds of pounds of sand and dirty, held up by structures constructed long. All that remained of the life he had known lay buried in the desert, hidden away to only be discovered by others seeking fame or profit. These "archaeologists" treated what had been his life like the peddlers on the street side selling there cheap trinkets and baubles. When would they discover his village if there remained anything left of it? Or had they already? The thought sickened him. Adam turned to face the wall beside him, holding the flames up to bring light to the hieroglyphs carved into the stone. Much of it had faded, the story they told lost to time, but it served enough of a catalyst that his memory was struck. War had kept him from being able to teach his children to read. He could still picture the last time he saw his family as if he were walking up to them now. Dwelling on it, holding onto that memory for as much as he could, Adam nearly missed the quickly growing bluish flame that burned away at one of the only scenes of peace he possessed. He clenched his teeth and pulled his senses back to the present before the flame consumed the memory entirely, anger building up inside of his heart.
There was little time to dwell on it as there came the whispers of old that he often ignored. They spoke of death, pain, and sorrow. They whispered that he might yet reclaim his old glory. Turning his head upwards, Adam dropped the torch and took off, breaking through the ceiling above him and through the sands that coated it until, within seconds, he was in the open air and flying to his homeland of old. Adam was greeted, at the border, by a sight that horrified him. Men in strange carriages, tanks they were called, were firing the metal projectiles at a nearby village that sat, smoldering in places...burning in others. The screams of terror filled the air while a few did their best to fight back against the riders, but there were already men within the village, breaking the lines and positions of the defenders. This was butchery. Not a battle. One of the large projectiles came soaring through the air towards his face, but Adam registered it and his right hand quickly shot up and caught the shell. His attention turned back to the tanks and saw that one of them had swiveled around to fire at him. Eyebrows furrowing, he hurled the shell back at it with such force that it detonated against the front, left track, sending shrapnel of the tread and bits of metal everywhere. Before any others to fire upon him, Adam had shot forward through the air and, like a drill, dove into the tank and into the ground. The force sent a wave of concussive force out while the tank exploded, more metal and sand sent out. As the smoke billowed from the wreck, Black Adam slowly stepped out, his tattered black cape falling back behind his shoulders. He had failed his country once and therefore damned them to tyrants. Now, he had returned and he would see them freed through the same bloody, cold hearted means that these "soldiers" visited upon the land of Kahndaq.
