Character Origin: (Comic/Movie/TVshow/Mixed? If mixed, state what combinations you're using.)
Comics.
Name: Donna Carol Force. I will very probably end up changing this name during a roleplay with the excuse of distancing herself from her family and secret identity issues, mostly because I hate having a character that is called DC in the DC universe. It may be silly but it bothers me.
Alias: Sparx.
Race: Meta-human.
Age: 19.
Birthday: September, 7.
Alignment: Neutral good.
Height: 5 ft 7¾, 172cm.
Weight: 55 kg, 121lb.
Hair: Brown.
Eyes: Blue.
Physique: Medium frame, firm and toned but still somewhat delicate looking.
Training: When she had her powers it was basically a self-learning process of trial, error and continuous experimentation about breaching the previous limits, except for figuring out how to switch back to human form, with clothes, which she learnt thanks to her uncle’s advices. She keeps herself in fits by being fairly active and at some point she assisted self-defense classes for women. She received some extra training with Jade during her time in the Blood Pack.
Equipment: A cellphone, clothes, laptop, small apartment, nothing that is very worthy of mention.
Powers / Abilities
- Temper: She has proven that she has ‘that extra instinct’ when it comes to action filled situations. It gives her an edge because she tends to choose the best course of action in a specific situation. Typically anger or hope helps her break her previously known limits as far as powers or abilities goes.
- Charismatic: She is attractive, that is obvious, but it is hard to hate a girl with a personality so nice, down to earth, easy-going and so very full of life. Because of all of this she knows a lot of metahumans.
- Self-defense: Enough to defend herself from the typical thief, assaulter or street thug without being severely injured in the process.
*Below, the powers that she lost and that I intend to gain back during roleplay.
- Double form: She can choose to look like a normal human or also like a being of pure energy, at will, that might appear more or less human. She can reach a point where she is not tangible anymore, thus bullets will pass through her. She can also design the way that her ‘clothes’ appear in her energy form, although she's technically 'naked'.
- Electricity mastery: For example, she can shoot blasts of energy, lighting, area attacks and create huge electrical EM explosions from her body. Unlike Livewire she seems to generate her own energy and it is unknown if there are any limit to this, although she also can absorb huge amounts of electricity too.
- EM fields: Like mentioned before she can charge up enough energy to create an EM explosion, which would levitate enemies, while it charges, and then throw them back in a violent manner. A creative use of EM fields is using them as shields to deflect projectiles and attacks, both on herself and on allies, at least until their energy is depleted. EM pulses also have the tendency of disabling electronic devices unless they are appropriately protected.
- Flight: One of the main creative uses of her powers. She won a race against one of the flashes, a close one in his own words, and it seems that she can fly at FTL speeds.
- Other creative uses: For example, eventually she could figure out how to use plasma, which could be problematic for beings like Darkseid, Lobo and even Superman. Neural discharge could also be a rather deadly application of her powers. Using electrical current could also be used for universal communication. Likewise she could create non sentient beings of energy too. Other creative uses might be added when I figure them out.
Weaknesses
- Water: It has never happened in the comics but I’m assuming that water will affect her powers, if she has them, negatively, like it does to Livewire.
- Anti-conductors: She can wash away silica dust with water, provided that she changes back to her normal human fleshy form, or remove it by brushing the dust by using a vacuum cleaner, otherwise it is annoying. With tape she could turn human and hope that she can break free. Rubber is also a problem.
- Extreme cold/ice: Ice can absorb lightning.
- Heat/magma: Heat can change the environment surrounding it. For example if she shot energy at Superman's heat vision, the heat vision would either absorb or deflect her energy.
- Human form/no powers: She is very vulnerable in her human form or, like right now, without powers.
Character Time Line
2012
- Is the only member of the metahuman Force family in Canada without powers, she has tons of built up stress during her childhood.
- Goes to Metropolis as a teenager with her uncle in a rather suicidal plan to awaken her powers. Ends up expressing her concern about the plan.
- Almost dies after being bitten by an alien. Her powers happen to awaken only after the medics use a defibrillator on her.
- Helps defeat all of the aliens!
2013
- Blood pack training, the group breaks out fairly quickly.
2014
- Spends time with the ravers, fighting villains and meeting a ton of other metahumans in the process.
- Saves Qward after absorbing large amounts of energy and using it to destroy the predators, supposedly augmented by a Qwa-Angel. Loses her powers right after the victory.
- Her family issues start all over again back in Canada. She leaves to live alone in Metropolis.
- Starts to work as stewardess as that is the closest thing to flying.
2015
- Still the same job, she stays in Metropolis in a cheap apartment, occasionally not resisting the urge to feel like a heroine again and help others.
Audition post
Things had been going only relatively okay for her in Metropolis ever since she lost her powers, it was very hard to be the only member of a family where everyone, except for her, was metahuman. And when, after a rather suicidal and clearly child endangering episode with aliens by her uncle when she was still very underage she did get her powers… she ended up losing them! It was horrible to have her family neglect her entirely after she lost her powers. At least she had saved a world by doing so but at what price?
Right now she couldn’t breathe, literally unable to even gasp for air. Her neck hurt, her throat hurt and she hated those psychotic eyes staring at her while she was being strangled. Well, in a way it was her fault, and not really at the same time. It wasn’t the first time that, seeing someone in trouble she had darted to help the poor soul that was being robbed or assaulted, even while being fully aware that 1) she had no powers. 2) Barely knew how to physically defend herself. 3) Could as well be happy in screaming police, superman, supergirl or calling them.
But she just couldn’t do it, it was beyond her, sometimes it worked out, she either scared them with the yelling, or actually managed to beat them. Unfortunately for her current assaulter, she had a very furious streak and she had no intention of becoming a martyr for the good and justice of the world.
So she stomped on his foot with her high heel as hard as she could. The sudden pain and scream so intense that he let go of her neck to jump backwards and hold his poor foot. She was pretty sure that she had heard a crack, broken bone?
She did not care, too busy gasping for the much needed air. She did not pause long and then she grabbed his shoulders and quickly kicked him right where it hurts the most in a man, between the legs, again as hard as she could. Her assaulter paled and coughed before falling to floor and rolling in pain like a baby. She had just made him cry. After that she left the immediate area only to soon be greeted by a pair of cops in patrol.
“Good evening miss, Are you ok?” one of them asked, noticing the clear bruise around the neck the other one across her cheek. “Yeah! I’m fine really, there was a guy trying to rob a girl and I sort of stopped him” she explained as she pointed to said alley with a smile, she was pretty cheered up for now! Of course after that they rushed to the alley while informing by radio about the situation, they apprehended the assaulter, still in intense pain on the floor, and then one of the cops helped tend the bruises on the young powerless heroine.
