I wanted to bring to your attention a fake member. My wife google image searched her images and this page popped up with a member named Elaine using her photo as her profile pic. I submitted an impersonation request on her behalf, just wanted to bring it to your attention.

Elaine is one of my player's.
She's not impersonating your wife. She's playing a fictional character that (in a made up world) looks like your wife.
The character she's playing is Elaine Belloc (from Vertigo Comics) written by Mike Carrey (I suggest reading the story arcs #1-75. Elaine is the successor to God. She's a sweet character and your wife could definitely pull off the character if the story was made into a movie.
I would appreciate it if you retracted the report against my friend. If you look all over our forum, you will see people doing the same thing that she has done. I'm using Christian Bale as my character's fictional appearance. It helps our story writing have more clarity and captivation to our minds.

So...Let me get this straight....
You are either
A) Don't care it's a fictional character and not an actual person pretending to be your wife.
B) Have completely ignored everything I've just told you.
C) Are completely ignorant about the Internet.
Because nothing she is doing is wrong. Absolutely zero.
So with that in mind, I'm going to stand behind my member and not some busybody roaming the internet.
Elaine, when you read this...I'll let you decide what you want to do. Proboards hasn't contacted me about it (They most likely won't because of how stupid this whole thing is.)
BUT if you wanted to be a nice person; this guy and lady seem upset that you're using her picture...You could change it.
I'm of two opinions on this.
Opinion 1: If he wanted the picture changed / taken down, fine. Just say that's what you want. Don't be a douchebag and try to claim some moral high ground like "She's a fake person using my wife as her profile!" You're full of shit and working an ulterior motive that only makes me *want to* say "fuck you, asshole."
Opinion 2: It's just a stupid picture. There are 6 billion people in the world, it's easy enough to use one of them. If he wants you to change it, there's literally no problem with changing it.
