Oracle:
Donna heard a banging from the top drawer in her desk. Opening it she found the odd device which had been mailed to her last week.It was a round pocket-sized device. There was a touch screen on one side with a button beneath it. It was ruggedized and had a large 'T' imprinted on its back. In the package there had been a note in the box. It simply said, 'A mutual friend who believes in JUSTICE recommended you to me, we are in the same LEAGUE. Please keep the device close'. That had been enough for her to keep the device, unaware other had received similar packages. It had been quiet and inoperative until now. Now it was beeping. Pressing the button it displayed a map with a pinpoint marking a vacant lot nearby her apartment. It had a countdown, going down from 15 minutes. Once she was at the location, when the counter reached zero, a Justice League Javelin craft appeared and landed before her. Inside the craft were several heroes her age and a bit younger. Once aboard the ship took off again. After a few more stops it went off. Apparently nobody knew what was going on, but they all had those devices.
Once everyone was aboard an electric chime sounded and a rather electronic voice was heard. "Welcome all. Thank you for taking my invitation. I am Oracle. A year ago when Darkseid's forces tried to invade our world, the Justice League almost perished. In preparation for the worst, Batman consulted with his colleagues to come up with a back up team of next generation heroes to be called on to take their place, he named this plan 'Titan' after the titanic scale mission they may have to face. This team was allocated resources in case it ever needed to be called. Due to the Justice League being spread so thin with all of their work, I took it upon myself to assemble you Titans. I have observed inconstancies and strange happenings I want you all to look into. This would be a great opportunity for you all to learn about each other in case Titan is ever called."
The Javelin roared over the top of mountain and buzzed low over a small run-down little town and landed on an old closed road, showing it's age and unused. Oracle started to speak again.
"Welcome to Echo Park, Which 30 years ago had been a popular vacation spot. It's claim for tourists lays down this road. Edward's Island. An amusement park made by a kind although somewhat eccentric inventor, he designed all the rides himself. A very popular place. Until Edwards passed away, nobody could repair the machines without him. They closed the park because of its declining safety record and the claims that the magic of the place was gone. They took out the bridge to the park to discourage visitors. Recently music and sounds have been emanating from the park. Edwards had created his own power supply using a waterfall on the far side of the island to give energy to the park. It is apparently still operational. We just don't know who or what has brought the park back to life. I would like you Titans to investigate. Please be careful, it is likely the infrastructure the amusement park is in bad shape. The devices I sent all of you are communicators. Press the button and you are instantly connected to your team. For personal messages, say their name before pressing the button. I can be reached, by asking for Oracle. Good luck." and with that the chime sounded again the doors to the Javelin opened.
Going down the road the Titans would come nearer and nearer to the mountains that the town was nestled into. The road went down into a mountain valley and after traveling about a mile they found themselves at a large lake. The mountain side was beautiful with flowers, a lot of weeds had grown up through the road and around it as well. it all seemed quite tranquil at this lake, and in the center of it was a large island, and the strangest and saddest sight could be seen on it. It looked like a second town, based on the town nearby, but it was a cartoon fantasy version of it.
With a large clock tower with a face on it. Several metal structures could be seen wrapped about this village. But everything was rusted and broken, the brightly colored buildings were faded with peeling paint. The long wooden bridge which led to the island had been broken down and was gone. Just the entrance on this side was left hanging out over the water, leading to nowhere now. From here they could make out the entrance of the strange village on the island, a high arched tunnel.

The young speedster was collapsed on his bed, a bowl of chips by his side and a PS4 controller in his hands when the communicator had gone off, causing his to curse very loudly, having been killed in the game he was playing. Call of Duty. "Fuuuuuuuuuu... Camping Scrub!" He yelled fruitfully at the screen before turning the console off and looking for where the vibrating was coming from... Under a pile of dirty laundry, where else? Ugh, its a weekend... He let out a sigh and tapped the large 'T' that took up the majority of the communicator. Doing so brought up a map, a location very nearby. "Hmmmm, I wonder why I'm being sent to the mall parking lot? Oooooooooooooo... I hope its a team meal... Burgers, fries, bacon... More burgers and pancakes, waffles, ice-cream... My god the sounds good... Unlikely, but good." He said to himself, almost drooling at the thought of it, having completely gotten over the game situation with relative ease. He noticed the timer counting down from 5 minutes, more than enough time to finish his chips and ensure his containers were full.
Once he had finished his second, yes second bowl of chips he decided it was about time to pull his suit on, which was fairly easy, being able to do anything at super speed, anything was possible to do with little to no effort, apart from cooking anything, that was a pain in the rear, simply because the waiting gets sooooooo boring... Oh well, he was in his suit and had about 2 minutes left to get to the parking lot. So he ensured his snack storage was filled and grabbed a bag of chips for the road, and off he went. Wally loved being a speedster, the adrenaline, the feel of the wind, never having to take public transport, and never being late for anything, no matter how much you slept in! And the food, being able to eat enough to feed the whole of America three times over in one sitting and not show it, now that was so much fun, very expensive but worth every cent.
As he waited that last 30 seconds before the countdown hit zero his food was tapping rather... Well it was obvious he was impatient, a young man able to move faster than sound, as far as patience goes, there's not a worse combination. But the Javelin arrived soon enough and he was in, the ramp was barely down before he completely lost his patience and, well, zipped in. He paid little attention to the internals, not right away of course, he was in too much of a hurry to find out what was going on. "Can we go now?!" He half yelled, like an impatient child in the back seat would do to their parents if they were waiting to go on vacation.
The Javelin took off, and he was thankful. Taking a seat he lay his head back, opened his sharing bag of chips and started crunching away, in a sort of tranquil state, eyes closed, arm working fairly mechanical. Hand in bag, pick up single chip, lift chip to mouth, drop into mouth, return hand to bag of chips and repeat. Very systematic, but also fairly slow, he was doing what he could to not be bored, so savouring the bag of munch he had was the best thing the poor redhead could come up with.
Everyone had been picked up, he assumed, seeing as they hadn't stopped for, ummmm, a long ass time, he didn't really take much note to time, not that he couldn't, nope, he simply did not care a whole amount. Granted he had listened to Oracle, taken everything into account, made a few stupid comments about the age of those in the craft, how it was like a 'field trip for baby heroes.' Granted it wasn't the funniest thing he could have come up with. But he had been dragged from a night of very important plans of eating and playing video games! Very, very important... Well, they were to him. But they had finally landed... Oh God it felt like forever they were in the air, or was it just him? Eh, it probably was just him, every moment felt longer to him, only because of his being able to manipulate the time around him, not directly manipulate time, but it felt like it.
Granted the first words that caught his attention from the briefing was 'Amusement Park' but that quickly faltered when it was apparent that is wasn't just a stroll in the... Park! Ha, puns... So punny! Okay, carrying on from his amazing sense of humour it was time for action, time to take on a bad g... A stroll... Right, normal walkers... Ugh, he made it very apparent he was bored, walking down the lane, at a normal speed... Barry and he could have easily, scouted the area and dealt with the problem in the time it took Oracle to give the briefing, let alone how long its taking to walk from the town to the park. "Sooooo, slooooowwwwww." The youngster complained, over and over again, then he noticed the flowering area in the distance and sped off, he may be bored, but there was a female with them... A rather attractive and busty one at that. So a bouquet of whatever was around was in order for the lady.
Zooming back with the flowers in hand he reached the group as they were taking in the sights and gave a rather, immature and cheeky grin to the Donna, offering the flowers with a playful, and flirty wink. "So miss, what may we call you?" He asked with genuine curiosity, whether others had asked already or not he was unsure, having spent most of the time so far daydreaming and complaining.

Donna had been going through some old example photobooks from earlier in her career. She was immersed in memories of overwhelming happiness. Theses had been her first moments in Man's World. Now that she knew of its horrors she felt threatened by its very existence. A noise had brought her back into the present where her desk drawer had been buzzing. "It sounds like bees. I wonder what awful creature--" Donna cut herself off remembering what cellphones sounded like. When she opened the drawer, she had found an unfamiliar item. She read the note and did as asked. Near her apartment was a very casual looking parking lot, but of course nothing was ever casual with the league. Some sort of space craft had shown up. "Hera, they sure know how to treat a gal."
Upon entering the Javelin craft she noticed that she was surrounded by the opposite sex. Before she could say anything, a voice was heard. Oracle was a name she had heard from Diana. It always seemed in passing though. When Oracle had mentioned the Titans her heart sank a little. She didn't want to get her hopes up. Donna longed to be a part of a real team, not just some leftover mission handler. The voice droned on for what seemed like forever. And she thought Diana had long-winded monologues. What she couldn't get over was where the mission was taking place. She had called it an amusement park. Was it possible that there were still places in Man's World that she had not yet discovered?
Donna took note of the team after Oracle had finished speaking. Each boy seemed so different. What were their abilities? Who were they underneath their masks? Donna was startled when the yellow one came up to her. She noticed the flowers and was astounded by the boy's forwardness. At least he was trying to make her feel comfortable. "Oh these are lovely." Her eyes wandered over the petals. Something about this whole mission was...exciting. "I am daughter of Hippolyta and sister to Diana. You may call me Donna. However, I was told my code name is Wonder Girl." She mumbled that last part. Donna was still embarrassed by her code name. It seemed so childish for a woman of her intelligence and strength. Why couldn't she just be Donna of Troia? "And what is your name?" Her gaze lifted to meet Wally's. To follow in her sister's footsteps she only attempted a stoic stare. Men were friends, but Diana had told her not to get too friendly with them. "I'd like to know all of your names and abilities as the leader of this team."
If there was one flaw of Donna's, it was her confidence.

"Oh come on. It's not all that bad if we're being honest." Jason Todd spoke out, with a hand tightly gripped on the wire of his grappling hook, his entire body hanging upside down against the wall. Directly in front of him was an average sized man, pinned to the wall by birdarangs. "Just tell me where Cobblepot's hiding his stash and we can get on with it."
"11th floor of the blue condominium on 7th Street!" He replied with an ever so shaky voice. It was quite clear that he was afraid. "It's there I promise! Please let me go!"
The young Robin dropped himself from the wire and pinched the man's cheeks. "See? It wasn't that hard." He tapped the side of his domino masked and turned from the thug. "Batman, 7th Street. 11th Floor of some blue condominium. Yeah I'm coming too. Be there in a--" He paused, feeling a soft vibrating sensation on his waist. "Hold on a second, Bats." Jason lifted device with a large, very clear 'T' printed in the middle.
"Wait. Aren't you going to let me go?"
Before he could press on the device, Jason turned around and grinned at the man. "Wait for it, you impatient monkey." It was then that the birdarangs stuck to the man beeped and exploded in smoke. "Apparently people need me elsewhere, Bats." He told his mentor. "You're the world's greatest detective. You don't need help." A soft chuckle came with his words. Once the smoke had cleared, Robin was gone.
Soon Jason sat inside the Javelin. A familiar vehicle, but he was convinced that Dick Grayson knew it better. The voice of Oracle, someone he actually knew, gave them a briefing of what they had to do. His eyes wandered around the place to try and profile every single member. None of them were familiar. At least, no one who made themselves apparent. When the vehicle had landed, they were set on an amusement park. And a certain speedster just couldn't wait to get his hands on some well-gifted female. Who, by the way, began to speak up, introducing herself in a way that he barely heard anyone speak. Soon she began demanding for names and powers, claiming that she was the leader of the team. Another one of those ego-centric types perhaps? But Jason didn't judge until he actual began to get to know her. Besides. Ego-centric was his specialty. "Wait, Leader?" He raised a brow, "Who appointed you?" Perhaps, a slight bitterness came with it. Jason did always want to be center-stage. "Robin. I've no powers." Was all he said, crossing his arms and continued looking around, continuing to walk with the others. "Seriously though, because as far as I'm concerned, I'm the only here trained by Batman." Bragging, but you couldn't call him Jason Todd if he never bragged about anything.

It had taken the speedster a little by surprise, that this woman had called herself leader... She was younger than he was, as was the kid bragging about being trained by batman. "As was the other Robin, you know, the one who went off on his own..." Obviously there was a little hostility to the kid who had become the new Robin. Turning his attention back to Donna he smiled. "I'm Kid Flash, or Wally, see, I already trust you with my secret identity." He winked some. "Also if anyone should be leader it shouldn't be some self-appointed twelve year old, it should be someone who is actually picked by the team." Yup, he was throwing a few jabs in the direction of Todd. He had nothing truly against the young Robin, except that he had become the young hero Wally had grown up with. "Anyway, what exactly are we expecting when we get to where we're going to?" He asked, simply because he was bored and needed to do something to stop him from impulsively running ahead.

Donna looked at the young Robin. He seemed capable having been trained by Batman. The others seem to have talents she was unfamiliar with. The Amazon placed her hands on her hips and gave a stern look at this so-called 'Wally'. "My identity is no secret. The Titans themselves blessed me with my existence in Man's World as Donna." Her eyes looked to the water. Diana had taught her the dangers of exposing the location of the team. "Let's assume that whatever is near that park knows we're here. I suggest we fly in." Could they fly? Maybe she would have to carry them in. She was used to that. "Let's start walking till we can't and then get a look at that tunnel." Donna felt slightly disheartened by being the only female on the team. Diana was the only one empowered by it. It was difficult to fit in with such a...different group. "Robin, can you take a look down the path? If anyone can sense a trap I would thing it would be you. So I'll let you lead." Donna took the chance to turn away from Wally to give him the cold shoulder. She was sure Diana would have done the same.

For a few moments, Jason simply stared at Wally, eyes squinting as the speedster spoke. The young Robin bit his lower lip. He wanted to tell him that he wasn't twelve, but a little older than that. Problem was, if he did answer back, it would only make him sound bratty. It was clear that Wally had some sort of problem with him. Probably not as Jason, but as Robin. He could deduce that much.
Jason blinked and turned his attention to Donna, who seemed a little uneasy with the way she spoke. It occured to him that maybe being the only female made her feel like an oddity. He didn't comment on that though. She had to figure her self-esteem issues for herself. Although she did manage to carry out orders. As far as he was concerned, the only person he's ever heard to give him orders were Bruce, but Jason complied nonetheless.
"Got it."
He pulled out a couple circular marble-like materials from his utility belt and scattered it in front of them, covering a wide area up until an area where flight might be required to get across. "Mine Trackers." He spoke with a grin on his face, temporarily forgetting the jabs he received from the wannabe Barry Allen. "It's kinda like playing mine-sweeper. Only if we mess up, we die." A little morbid. "If the pellets glow red, it means there are mines in it's vicinity. I've spread them evenly well, and nothing's showing up. I say we're good." He did shift his gaze back to the speedster, "Wanna run across and see if my trackers are malfunctioning?" Jason challenged. If they were going to be a team, then in Jason's mind, it was going to be one hell of a bond between them.
And without a second thought, Robin went on ahead. "Well? Come on then."

As Robin scattered his 'marbles' across the trail in front of them, nothing happened. There didn't appear to be any kind of mines or weapons about them. No matter how many he times he tested and observed all the way to little partial bridge which hung out over the water, they detected nothing. Apparently there truly was no trap or explosive before them.
Looking out over the lake, the waters were eerily still. They could still make out some of the rotten supports sticking out of the waters like great monster fingers, clawing out towards the sky. It had to be about half a mile to get to the island from here. While it wasn't easy to make out much from their vantage point, they could see a parking lot on the island, right before the tunnel which led into the park. Apparently people used to drive across on this bridge and spend the day on the island.
The winds blew and the lake was quiet, not even the murmur of an insect or a frog was heard. And then they could hear it, the sound of an old pipe organ, badly out of tune, playing softly in the distant. The amusement park was calling out to them....

Apparently the new Robin was challenging him... Usual twelve year old behaviour. So he turned back to Donna. "Oh, I forgot to mention my powers... Super speed, super metabolism, basically the better Flash." Granted he was exaggerating a bit, but Donna had turned away so he looked forward and carried on walking. "Looks like you wasted your marbles there, Toddy boy." Yes, Dick had told Wally who his replacement was, he wouldn't tell anyone who would use the information for evil purposes.
He let out a sigh and kicked the ground mid-stride. "So, Donna, what can I do to help? Being the leader of the group that is?" He asked, giving a light sigh as he cracked his knuckles and let out a slight groan, most likely of boredom, but who knows what else.

The waves of her hair bounced as she followed Robin. His gadgets had been useless which had discouraged her but only slightly. But why was she so down when the Boy Wonder was the one to blame? It was obvious, wasn't it? They were almost the same person. Boy Wonder with his stern mentor and a Hades of a name to live up to and Wonder Girl with a sister who would probably never give up her throne in both of the worlds they lived in. "Don't worry, I'm sure there will be plenty of other opportunities to use your tactics." Wally had teased his team mate. She wasn't playing sides, just trying to keep everyone happy.
As they walked she noticed Wally's inability to keep quiet. He had called himself the 'leader' of the group. "It doesn't take a genius to spot a sheep in a herd of cattle." She was of course teasing...mostly. Had they been in combat, she would have given him a good swing for the heck of it. "Wally, exactly what do you know about being a leader?" They were approaching the edge of the lake. Donna hadn't even noticed, "What makes you think---" She was cut of by the sound of an instrument. It was a wretched noise she wasn't familiar with. "Hera, help us."

Did he really just call himself the better Flash? Jason decided to keep quiet about it. Because whatever Wally thought of himself, was his business completely. He raised a hand that held a flat circular device. His thumb pressed the button along it's curve, and in a split second, all the small pellets came rushing to it like magnet. Jason pocketed the device on the third pack of his utility belt.
"Toddy boy? And you call me the twelve year-old." Whatever Wally was going to say next, Jason would just shut up about it. No point in winning an argument that was going nowhere.
Although, he couldn't understand as to why both of them thought it was useless. The pellets served their purpose. It was to try and see if mines were around. And none showed up. So why was it a failure? In fact, it was better than that. "Oh I'm not worried Donna."
The two others spoke of being a leader, while Robin just kept to himself a good chunk of the time. Once the sound of a screeching pipe organ let loose, Jason squinted, and his domino mask followed suit. "I guess that's our cue." He looked to Donna. "A hand?" He didn't have superspeed or the ability to fly, which meant he relied on her to bring him all the way across. Knowing that Wally could easily get himself across, Jason volunteered to be the one manhandled. "Let's go."

Being reunited with the others reminded him of times long past, not simpler times but different ones: him in red and green, flipping around with Bruce and Barbara in Gotham while making his own mark with the Teen Titans as a leader. Now years later he was back with two of them, but it felt different.
And it wasn't the change in costume.
This was technically the first time he met with the others in his costume, black and blue with a wing-like symbol and long blue stripes down his arms to his middle and ring fingers. Traded in his bo-staff for Eskrima sticks, put more study into the style of Akido, got a little older, a little wiser. And a little more out of place. He agreed to investigate the park since Barbara asked him too, but he didn't expect she would send a few others too...did she not trust him alone? Or, maybe she was still angry at him? Nightwing shook that sobering thought from his mind, now was not the time to ponder on his personal relationships. There was the sound of a pipe organ playing in the distance that caused the young man's eyes to narrow under the domino mask slightly, though his voice still carried some mirth.
"If I didn't know any better I'd say we were being invited..." he commented, testing the bridge for it's weight and finding it rickety but not trapped. He quickly, but carefully crossed it and as the others did he turned to Wally and Donna - feeling the good old days kick in as he gave instruction. "Kid Flash, scout ahead - find out where the music is coming from, what exits there are, any potential guests waiting for us. Any room of interest. Don't slow down if you have to, return back to us once you looked at the area. Troia, watch my back, we're going to see who decided to roll the red carpet out for us."
He brought out a grapple hook and threw it with adept precision, he was used to grapple guns...but when you decide to go solo from dad, you don't get toys. He tested the line before he began to pull himself up it, climbing up an old entrance gate - rotted letters of the sign post hung as he passed by - a ghost of days in which the park was far more alive.
Echo Park indeed, that's all it seemed to be.

Dick was a little different than she remembered. Well, besides the new suit. He had placed her in the back. Wasn't she the one who established her dominance? Well at least she didn't have to step forward first. Donna was convinced that Wally was going to be the biggest asset of the night judging by the lineup. She hadn't really convinced herself that she could live up to her sister's name.
"Hey, Nightwing? Don't call me Troia." It wasn't exactly an insult to her, but Troia just didn't seem to fit. I mean Wally had a very common name. And Dick...why was it that they called him Dick anyway? Was it a nickname? Her Amazon roots were showing again. "I've got your back. Seems clear to me."
The park was way to quiet for her liking. Even the bridge didn't creak as they walked over it. There was something way too spooky about this whole ordeal.
