Doctor Fate: The glowing yellow Ankhs would appear pulling Batman, Flash, and Superman to the Tower of Fate, the center of the tower to be more precise so that none would get lost. He was standing there without his helmet. Wearing a black silk shirt, and a pair of blue jeans. He waited on them all to arrive knowing the travel distance between the three of them would vary with a few seconds give or take. Fate moved to his helmet, cloak and amulet putting them on . A golden glow erupted from him suddenly creating Doctor Fate. The glowing eyes of the helmet would be seen. He stood waiting on the portals to cast, the three to his tower.
-Bruce Wayne sat on a wooden stood nearby the workshop table, wearing a black shirt and gray sweat pants, his eyes were protected by plastic goggles as he was using a soldering iron onto an electrical device. Repairing a receiver to a radio, Bruce turned to hear the portal opening revealing a large yellow ribbon appearing almost like a doorway to the Tower of Fate. Bruce’s blue eyes perked some in surprise and intrigued as a faint smirk grazing his straight jaw. He stood up and took off the goggles to place them down on the work bench. He dusted off his hands and hurried to the armory where he changed uniform into the batsuit. Batman emerged tightening his gauntlets with his cape folded perfectly into his backpack. Batman’s Kevlar utility harness was a copper-polished gold color. His mask etched and carved to appear with aggression and snarl of an animal with a pointed nose crowning above the nostrils. <c>
His bracers had their forearm spike guards folded making them appear flat and un-intimidating. Batman had placed behind his back a holster for his explosive gel, line launcher, and a freeze pistol. Both sides held his grappling hook guns overlapping the pouches of detective equipment. A moment would pass before Batman stepped through to see the glowing eyes of Doctor Fate.- “Doctor.” –Batman spoke calmly, as he suddenly looked around allowing his gaze to settle on anyone else who arrived.-
Flash: The Flash was in his guise known as Barry Allen. With that, he was at work. Barry was a Detective for the Central City police department. However, he still acted as their chief forensic scientist. There was others to do the work, but when a case was hard, they called in Barry. Being a forensic scientist, we was wearing the get-up. His body, mostly covered in a labcoat, though a collared shirt, and jeans were underneath it. He was carefully pouring a beaker, when he felt an odd feeling taking over him. With miliseconds to react, he set the beaker, undamaged, and unspilt upon the counter. Barry pressed the ring, and either during his transportation, or just before it, he had changed into his Flash costume. When he arrived, he noted the famed vigilante hero, Batman. Even though he'd probably never refer to himself as a hero. He nodded to his cowled, and horned friend. "Hey.. do I have you to thank for my arrival?" He motioned towards Batman, not even really noticing Doctor Fate just yet.
Flash: The two had yet to meet in person. Though when he did, he almost blinked. Infact, he did blink. It was just really fast. "Or, the fancy helmet guy, with glowing eyes. Sounds more likely."
Zatanna Z: Turning the page with a flick of her fingers, zee reached into the nearby bag for the snacky goodness. No, she wasn't touching the paper itself after eating a snack, but cheetos were amazing, and she had once again been in one of her marathon study sessions. There was a momentary blip of amusement as she realized that she hadn't eaten this much junk food since....before she got her braces. Wow. Long time. There was a vague noise from the landing below her, and without actually sitting up, she pulled her chin to the railing. From her position in the chair, she watched as the others arrived, blinked at the brusque way Batman greeted Kent, and slowly released her grip on the railing to her spot on the seat, flicking the page over once more and searching for the bag of cheetos she had sat down by the leg of the chair.
Superman: Clark had since returned to his fortress and was focusing all of his attention on the various experiments that he had going. A few were biological in nature, others in physics and mechanics, and a couple in medicine. It was all in an attempt to distract himself from the meeting with the Daemonite Lord Helspont and how it had ended less than... well... A sigh touched his lips before he shook his head and kept on working. His robots were in standby mode at the moment, with Clark having placed them all in the state so he could do everything in his Fortress. When the portal appeared he felt a grabbing sensation before being pulled back into it. Appearing in the Tower of Fate, he was upside down in comparison to the other males with his cape sort of dangling as if gravity could not decide whether to let it lay along his back or hang below his head from his shoulders. Superman gave a shake of his head and righted himself, red boots hovering an inch or so from the ground as he crossed -
Superman: his arms over his chest.
Doctor Fate: He glanced to Batman and nodded."I apologize for the abrupt teleportation, but I have urgent matters to speak with you and your team about." is cape fell over his shoulders. as he noticed strands of black hair falling over the railing above them, though to him it was rather side ways. to the left. To the others it could be completely different the physics of the Tower of Fate were vertially none existant." Flash, Welcome to my home I would ask that you do not leave this room as without knowledge of the Tower you will be lost within the infinite expanse. " He turned his head to Batman." I have been away from This plane of existance for almost a month..Earth time, It was more long the lines of a century for me." Fate looked to be slightly heavier in muscle mass from the last encounter." As Superman appeared "Welcome Superman." Fate looked to all three of them and he said" Our enemy has revealed itself." A mystical illusion looking like Helspont appeared." Helspont."
-Batman watched the illusion appear and narrowed his eyes.- “I saw the videos. People are calling him Blue Skull and any other name they can come up with…But in one specific video he calls himself Helspont.” –Batman looked at Superman.- “He looks like a handful, even for you. J’onn and I have been working with an alien race that has been forced out of their home planet because of Helspont. From what I know of him, he’s a conqueror. The part I can’t figure out is why he hasn’t come to dominate Earth yet.” –Batman’s gaze shifted between Doctor Fate and Superman, knowing that both of them have some conclusion or information regarding such. Batman’s chin and jaw squared themselves as cold blue eyes blankly watched both men.-
Captain Marvel: Nothing was ever normal in Fawcett City. Unless you compared fighting a Minotaur in the middle of the town square normal. Wherever he had come from, he had destroyed most of the park before Batson could arrive to counter him. Mostly due to Billy trying to do a math test as fast as he could but do decent on it. He didn't wait for the results but ran up and turned it in and asked to be excused to the bathroom. Billy ran down the hallway, then had to slip outside which was difficult in itself since the security at Fawcett High was extremely high, and Captain Marvel flying through the halls was not really an option. Once he got to the park however, it was a fairly quick battle. A few punches and the beast was down and would be hauled into custody with sixteen tranquilizers in it's back. -C-
Captain Marvel: He had all intentions of going back to school when a portal opened up in front of him. Usually this meant trouble but he sensed it was magical in nature and felt a need to go through it. The first thing he noticed was Batman, Superman, Flash, Zatanna and Doctor Fate having a conversation. He waved slowly over at the other members of the JLA smiling broadly, and came up to stand next to Superman , but addressed Fate once he is finished talking. “Hello. Doctor Fate right? I don't believe we've formally met before.” -E-
Flash: The Flash stood still. It was a painful process, but the idea of being trapped in a neverending infinite plane of stairs, that was pretty unnavigational.. well. Being trapped in Mirror Masters mirrors was enough for him once. So, the Flash stood, listened to the other members talk for a moment. Captain Marvel soon entered the group, but his focus was on Batman, when he spoke, of working with an alien race. He spoke of Helspont. The conquerer. When he finished speaking, he got his opinion in. "Well, not that I'm of keen as mind of either of you. But, I saw a few videos of the encounter on Youtube. Theres a few moments where Helspont is puffed up. Trying to make himself look bigger. I think he's afraid of you, Superman." Flash nodded some, and looked to the triad of men. Batman, Superman, and Fate. "Aside of that, I can't say I noticed anything else." With his part in, he stood there. He felt abit out of his league. In this scenario. Superman, and Batman and without a doubt Fate knew all about this guy. He felt like -he- was playing catch up. The moment would cause the Flash to drop deeper into though, a finger rubbing stereotypically across his chin.
Zatanna Z: There was a moment, briefly, when she thought that she might've gotten away with simply sitting where she'd been and continuing to munch and read. Of course that reproaching feeling lingering in the back of her skull [thank you Nabu, passive bastard] indicated that perhaps she should move from her spot. "Fine, fine." A few backward words to ensure that she was in proper attire -as the purple suit was better than her sweatpants- and Zatanna would reappear behind Fate, standing at his shoulder. THis wasn't where she wanted to be, and the glare given straight in Nabu's direction (Aka: the side of kent's head) was really the only protest she would give before finally looking to the others, nodding curtly as she waited to figure out why she needed to be involved beyond what she heard from Clark the day before.
Superman: Superman was silent the entire time so far, letting the others talk over everything. Truly, he did not want to be in this place anymore, much preferring to be back in his fortress and away from everything. Fighting Helspont had created a feeling within him that he had never felt before and that feeling had led to a thought he did not approve of. Although many would mistake the look on his face as emotionless and perhaps a bit cold, Zatanna being the one that knew Clark far better than anyone living save his parents, could see the disturbance in his eyes. "Because he has long been here, Batman," Kal-El answered simply, "in some form, he has been on Earth for over a millenia." He knew that much from the Daemonite speaking of battling another Kryptonian. "And he is not afraid," Superman continued, looking to the Flash, "He is anything but." His words were spoken almost as if they were stone as he turned his attention once more back to Fate.
Doctor Fate: "Indeed this is the evil I warned you about during our first encounter. Helspont is not like anything any of us have ever faced. We have faced mindless monsters who wouldn't care for our world, Gods who think themsevles greater than use...Psychotic Clowns who only need ambition and dynamite to make a city quake with fear but the Lord of the Daemonites is something else. He is pure unadulterated evil. Make no mistake He is every bit as strong and Superman, with millions of years of knowledge, and growing power behind him. His psychic powers make the martians look frail in comparison."
-Batman stared at Superman in exchange of words, examining the cold exterior of his eyes and stance as he listened to Doctor Fate and Barry speaking.- "He's clearly not afraid. And Superman is right. After my conversation with Voodoo, she mentioned that Helspont has been to Earth before. If he wanted to kill Superman he would've. And apparently Voodoo knows quite a bit about his minions, the Daemonites. They don't share a weakness to extreme cold or heat. She recommends the use of kinetic projectiles to the head. She also explained that their numbers on Earth are about 10 to 1..." -Batman shifted his last three sentences towards Doctor Fate's polished helmet with the reflection of Zatanna and the surrounding heroes gently appearing within the shine.-
Captain Marvel: Captain Marvel stayed quiet after he had appeared listening to catch up on what was going on but decided to ask something anyway and addresses the group at large. “So what does he care about Earth for? If he is millions of years old, what is so important about here that he has to come back again? Could he really kill Superman? I really doubt that. But, do we have a time frame of watching out for this Helspont?” he wasn't sure what else to add though so after this he went back to being quiet and listening to the situation.
(Batman)-The Flash was a bit surprised by all of this knowledge and information spilling out of the three men.- “It seems I’m a bit out of the loop on this guy…Makes you wonder what else is out there. I agree, Captain. Do we have an idea when he’s going to show up again? Seems almost random that he would show up all of the sudden.” –The Flash held a sober expression with his arms dangling at his sides with his hands open and space between his torso and arms. His red outfit clung to his form with a notable imprint and symbol on his chest of a white circle and yellow lightning bolt running through it. His red hood with sockets for his eyes, nose, and mouth would display his deep thought expression as he raised his hand to cup around his mouth.-
Superman: "I have buisness elsewhere. If you would not mind, please open a portal back to Metropolis," Superman said to Fate, letting his arms drop down to his sides while he waited. If the portal was opened, Kal-El would quickly fly through and heading out into the sky above the city.
Doctor Fate: "Speaking of the girl, She is our greatest weapon against the daemonites. Why do you think I gave you Superman's location...It was not to get him. It was to collect Voodoo. Though I had hoped you would have been a bit more diplomatic. " Fate didn't look to anyone as he spoke." She will be the key...If Helspont knows of her existance then it is very possible he will want her destroyed..She is the only being capable of seperating Daemonites from their hosts. I cannot remove daemonites without killing the host.." He listened to them question when he would attack again" I am not sure, I cannot predict them. They are capable of protecting themselves from me, Helspoont revealing himself allowed me a glimps. " He looked to Superman." Yes Superman, I just needed you here to tell them of the experience...I wasn't ware there was video of the battle." He teleported Superman back .
-Batman titled his head some analyzing Superman while listening, observing his tone of voice. Batman concealed his analysis by switching his gaze to the Flash and then Captain Marvel before finally switching to look back Doctor Fate, to catch a final glimpse of Superman.- ‘He’s experiencing fear?’ –Batman exhaled some listening to Fate.- “I should talk to her then. She’s right now still on board the Watchtower…Our conversation didn’t go so well. I made her upset. I should be the one to correct my mistake.” –Batman said firmly to Doctor Fate, unaware if he knew what took place or not, there was no reason Batman felt that he should hide what happened between them.-
-Bruce Wayne sat on a wooden stood nearby the workshop table, wearing a black shirt and gray sweat pants, his eyes were protected by plastic goggles as he was using a soldering iron onto an electrical device.
